I really enjoyed my stay at the Dragon. I would recommend the bakery for others as a great breakfast place, it wasn't pricey but with a superb taste. The service was very comfortable, I felt really relaxed when I got into my room. Wonderful place!

The lighting in the hotel was inadequate. There is an obvious language barrier for English-speaking guests at the hotel. Communication with hotel employees is challenging. The food at the hotel restaurant is terrible. The bar in the hotel has a poor beer selection.

There is a lot of construction around this area. The hotel was nice and we like the closeness to the areas we wanted to visit while in Hangzhou. The price of the hotel is low for a reason, because the rooms are not in very good condition. Design is modern but poorly maintained. Carpets are dirty, rooms smells like mold. After complaining to the hotel the staff still would not allow us to switch rooms until we told them we are leaving. However, the other room had the same smell and poor condition. Stayed for 3 nights in March, hotel staff spoke decent English, all went effortlessly. The hotel is opposite a large shopping mall with Western shops and a food court. It is also within walking distance to the West Lake and the surrounding parks. A solid 4-star hotel with clean (if slightly dark) rooms, would definitely go back.
