THE HOTEL LOOKS GREAT. THERE IS A LOT OF ACTIVITIES FOR SMALLER KIDS BUT FOR TEEN MAYBE THEY CAN ADD MORE LIKE THOSE WATER KIDDIE RIDE BUT OFF COURSE BIGGER SINCE FOR TEEN. THEY CAN ALSO INCLUDE SPA FOR TEEN & ADULTS.

If you don't need to use the hide-a-bed, this is a fantastic hotel. We had a blast. If you do need to use the sleeper sofa, beware that they are the worst ones I've ever slept on (& I've even slept on a bench at a train station in Italy!) After 1 sleepless night, I woke up in such pain that I could barely walk. The foot of the bed is several inches […] higher than the head of the bed, so your blood rushes to your head, plus the mattress is so thin that the big metal bar that jabs you in the back is much worse than the typical sleeper sofa. It's bad enough that I would never stay at Great Wolf again if we had to utilize the hide-a-bed. Worse yet, when I told the front desk (& showed pictures), she said that everybody complains about them. That was it. Great Wolf is a great place to play... but a terrible place to sleep. Read more

Overall we LOVED our time at the Great Wolf Lodge. Kids 8(birthday boy) 9 (guest/friend) and 3 had a blast in the waterpark. So did Mom and Dad, but we were held back by the little one who was just shy of being tall enough for the inner tube rides. Food in the lodge is expensive (as we expected), although ice cream cones were reasonable :). There is […] a Figaro's pizza place down the road that is delicious and inexpensive. We packed a lot of snacks and lunches.. you just can't bring outside food inside of the water park. The kids opened and closed the waterpark on the days we arrived and departed. They didn't get tired of it at all. Parents became a bit grossed out by the end of the second day, because the activity pool and the wave pool had to be closed down at different times because of fecal contamination. I guess it's bound to happen with that volume of toddlers, but eww. We also all got splinters of some sort of thin wire in our feet, so we would recommend wearing water socks or some sort of foot protection. The hotel and water park were wonderful. We stayed on a Tuesday night and the Bar and Grill was closed so we only had a couple of dining options at the resort. The extremely overpriced hamburger pushed us out of the resort and next door to the Burger Claim where the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Our stay was great. After I arrived with my my family I went to the front desk to check in. The staff could not find my reservation at first so I looked at my confirmation sheet. Then I noticed I had arrived with my family one weekend early! I was devastated and embarrassed. The lady was so nice when I told her what I did. Went midweek which makes it more affordable and less crowded. Was able to go down one of the water slides multiple times with no line. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only complaints were that checkin was a little confusing seemed to be two lines guest registration vs online...had reserved online. Stood in one line while multiple people who had […] came after me were helped first from the other line....should just be one line. Anyhow there should also be a mat in some areas of the fort sprayground. One area was slippery dueto constant water spraying and many people kept slipping. There was a lot to do both free and costing money. The whole reason for staying here is for the indoor water park. It is a cool park for all ages to enjoy. The wrist bands are nice: they let you into the park, serves as your room key, and you can charge things to the room with your wrist band. By far this is the smartes use of wrist bands that i've seen so that you don't have to worry about carrying […] cash or credit cards to the pool area. This is actually our second stay here. Dinner at the restaurant last time was so bad that we actually ordered burgers from outside, which were also quite bad. However, the breakfast buffet is actually much better that what I remembered last time. Overall a fun stay. The room itself was fine: clean, roomy. Nothing special. We were in a family suite with 2 queen beds. Toiletries offered include a kids bubblegum-scented body wash, and warm vanilla shampoo and bar soap. No hair conditioner provided, so bring your own if you don't like your hair feeling like straw. Read more

Great place. Ideal for kids.... The waterpark is pretty much the only place where as an adult you would have fun. The rest of the property and activities are kids centric. We stayed overnight, but I would recommend a day trip only. The room rent is not worth the stay and you can cover all activities if you plan to reach early and leave by late evening. Having been to other water parks in the USA and Europe, I can definitely write that this is a good option for families. We used the Kid Cabin, and it is definitely worth the price. They let you enjoy the water park as soon as you arrive, and call you to know when your room is ready. The water park itself is not that big, but it will keep kids entertained […] for a couple of days. So, this is ideal as a weekend break. It would become boring for longer periods, and there is little nearby to offer as a viable option. Only issue with the entire experience was that the elevators would take forever to come. Staying only for a couple of days, I couldn’t find out if this was a problem with the elevators or just impolite behavior from other guests. In the end, it is good that the stairs are part of the entertainment for those participating in the “Magic Quest”, which is definitely recommended for those with kids up to 10. Read more

Very disappointed! Usually I love GWL ( I am from VA and go to the Williamsburg one) but this visit was awful! Every time we turned around there was a lifeguard telling us not to do this or that. It was ridiculous.....almost militant. GWL is wayyyy to expensive to come here and be irritated about stupid stuff by power hungry staff.

The Hotel was too expensive for the quality of accommodation. It was noisy, so don't go unless you have little children. The room had an odor of stale food which ended with me getting a severe headache! Would not recommend this to anyone. For less money go stay at any Courtyard Mariott, the DoubleTree or La Quinta. This one? Never again!

A real fun place for the kids and growups as well. I really appreciated the numerous elevators, ease of getting to parking lot with your paved walkway and not having to go down stairs with the luggage carts. Great Wolf Lodge is good for anybody looking for a Disneyland type of experience. The animal characters on all of the signs are cartoon figures with big round eyes that cater to young children. The water park is also aimed at the very young. I stayed there as a place to rest at the mid-point of a long bicycle ride. We had a great time in a very clean, comfortable room. The safety in the water park was excellent. The biggest downfall was how expensive the food was. We ended up leaving in order to find meals that weren't extremely overpriced. I would actually rate this hotel a 4.5, but didn't have that as an option.

Took three adults and three kids (aged 11, 11, and 13). The water park was enjoyed, we felt safe enough to let them go on their own. Took the advice of many before us and brought in food for breakfast and lunch and snacks. Went to La Tarrasca in Centralia for dinner (very highly recommended for authentic Mexican food). We stayed in a Grizzly Bear suite […] which has two bedrooms. Very oddly laid out space, but was ample for two families. No closet in one of the rooms (but has it's own bathroom, so I guess that made it the master). Cable TV is minimal and no HBO, Showtime, etc. PPV movies but we weren't interested in paying even more for the services there. My son had been several times before with others, and he's about burned out on it. I would say it's a once or twice kind of weekend. Tiny Starbucks with a very long line, bring your own coffee!
