We went down to see the opening ceremony of the Olympics and the Road races. We decided on this hotel as it was only 2 hours drive, just off Junction 5 of the M1 and it had a Tube station only 10 mins walk away and we wanted to check it out for Wembley. Good sized room, with a fridge as well! The shower needed a bit of a clean but over all it was good. […] Bed was comfy and no roll together! The cooked breakfast was very good and the hotel was in a very good neighbourhood and very quiet... just what you need when walking back in the small hours after a hectic day! Our main reason for choosing this hotel was because it was purported to be within ten miles of Heathrow Airport. Our mileage computation was just over twenty miles. The only way we were able to locate the hotel was with GPS and worse, that was the only way we could locate the airport.

This hotel was within a fwew miles of the place I needed to visit and relatively cheap for the location, should I need to revisit the area I would stay there again. On the down side I was put in the second floor in a room which had a slanting roof, this made the room FEEL a little clostraphobic, although I didn't hit my head once.

Comfortable guest house, with breakfast included. Stayed for 4 nights as a business traveller so was only in my room late at night and for an early breakfast. The continental option was basic but met my needs. Off street parking is available and the nearest Underground station is a short walk away. Stayed here one night this week. Was in the area for a Job Interview, Hotel was a short pleasant walk from Northwood Tube Station. The manager, who's name I didn't manage to get, was very helpful. The room was clean and warm, plenty of wardrobe space, the bathroom was clean and in good repair. The only down side would have been that the sloping ceiling […] made the shower very snug! Breakfast the following morning was Fab, the full works were available along with coffee toast orange juice and cereal. Would definitely recommend as a great BB with great local access and links in to London. Read more

Une guest house ou le calme et la tranquillité à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur sont bien là. Le personnel est charmant et à votre écoute, les chambres sont confortables, le petit déjeuner fait maison. En ce qui concerne les commodités : le parking est gratuit et le métro direct pour Londres (40mn) est à 10mn à pieds. A recommander.

This is a very typical English B&B - and the thing is that I just sleep much better in these places than any fancy hotel. Don´t expect luxury, but authentic charm. Beutyful sorroundings and nice take away less than 10 min. walks from the guest house. Check the Tai Pen Express - amazing concept :-)
