Iberostar Playa Gaviotas Park - Pajara

Our first experience of going all-inclusive! Always self catered in the past but my brother and sister and their families are regulars at this Hotel and recommended it to me. And? Had a great time, good quality food and drink, lovely surroundings in the hotel grounds. Spend a bit of time in the 'Playa' hotel which sits just in front of the 'Park'. We […] had the use of both hotels so we varied where we ate and where we drank. Service was first class, very pleasent staff, always with a smile. First visit to Fuerturventura, loved the beachs and walks. The first English people we spoke to were in the queue at the airport coming back to the UK, but that was not a problem, the wife had to put up with me for a great 7 days! We stayed for a week at this hotel in January, we are a family of 5, ages 48, 47, 21, 17 and 10. This hotel is ideal for a relaxing break. Rooms were fab, had 2 x 1 bed suites on 6th floor. Food was very good, some days better than others but always lots of choice, hot and a high standard. Pool area was great, water a bit cold but loads of sun beds […] and not overcrowded. Plenty of entertainment going on for all ages all day but you don't have to join in. Evening entertainment was good, animation team work really hard and put on some great shows. We had a lovely stay at the Gaviotas Park. The hotel was spotless, the staff extremely friendly and the food was superb. The British are in the minority at the Gaviotas Park, but this was not an issue for us. There was a different show every night and the entertainment staff couldn't do enough to make sure you enjoy your stay. The Gaviotas Park is very much family small child orientated. Therefore can be a lot of noise and running about at mealtimes. The food is good but the wine is a fixed offer - one type in bottles and another on draught and (in my opinion) is not very good. The hotel is very orientated to German visitors - no problems at all with this but be aware this […] is the case, as most activities and annoucements will start with a German language introduction. All hotel staff spoke good English though. The Gaviotas Park and the Gaviotas Playa hotels are linked therefore you can use the bars in either on all inclusive. However to eat in the other hotel you need to book one day in advance. The Iberotstar Palace is a separate unit. You cannot use the bar there if you are in the Park of the Playa on all inclusive - however you can use the restaurant which is more service orientated and has a wine list which if you book a day in advance means you can get a decent bottle of wine on the all inclusive deals. Position of complex is very good just above the beach and with a small Spar supermarket across the main road (you can go through a pedestrian tunnel from the beach). The walk into Morrehable is along the seafront but is approximately 5 to 6 kilometres which can be a long walk in hot sun. Sea bathing is good with sandy beach and shallow water. Pools are good size but only the Palace has one for serious swimming rather than splashing about. Read more

Wir waren vor zwei Jahren bereits in diesem Hotel und haben es - wegen der hervorragenden Lage - wieder gebucht. Allerdings lässt es spürbar nach und wirkt trotz des jungen Alters ziemlich betagt und schlecht geführt. Positiv: Der Poolbereich ist in einem sehr guten Zustand. Der Bademeister kümmert sich vorbildlich um die Anlagen und um die Gäste. Das […] Essen ist gut, die Auswahl stimmt. Allerdings wenig Abwechslung. Die Lage des Hotels ist für einen Strandurlaub mit langen Spatziergängen perfekt. Negativ: Die Sauberkeit des Restaurants entspricht keinesfalls einem 4-Sterne-Standard. Wir haben den Boden zu keiner Zeit sauber erlebt, die Sitzflächen der Stühle erinnern eher an die S-Bahn zuhause als an ein Restaurant. Die Tischdeko (Kunstblumen) ist völlig verstaubt. Die Zimmer sind abgenutzt und unsauber. Verdreckte Fugen (insbesondere im Bad). Der Mülleimer im Badezimmer war derart ekelig, dass wir ihn tauschen ließen. Spiegel und Glasflächen zeigten deutliche Spuren der vorherigen Gäste. Ein weißes Taschentuch wurde mit einem Wisch über den Badezimmer-Waschtisch dunkelgrau. Die Türzargen gehen teilweise aus dem Leim. Die Matratzen der Betten sind hart. Wir hatten täglich Rückenschmerzen. Und die Krönung: Wenn man dem Zimmermädchen trotzdem ein Trinkgeld gibt, wird der Service offenbar komplett eingestellt. Gibt es in diesem Hotel überhaupt ein Management? Alles in allem: Trotz der hervorragenden Lage aus unserer Sicht leider nicht mehr empfehlenswert. Read more

En general todo bien excepto que a veces hay recepcionistas (según supe luego de prácticas) que no hablan español. Es cierto que no fue siempre. Se nota que les falta rodaje y a veces no son tan amables como debieran. Tuvimos que esperar 1 hora para que nos trajeran una cuna a la habitación. Por lo demás todo perfecto y el resto del personal un 10.

poca tolerancia en horario y servicios pesima comida y horarios de hoteles mala bebida nada fresco todo estaba en aleman ,nada para entretenimiento en español la playa muy lejos no tiene camastros en playa y las albercas tan frias que nadie se metia no regresaria ahi nunca
