Great hotel and highlight of our stay in Greece. We barely left the room the first day because we were so thrilled with the quality of the room and the view. What to say, this hotel is outstanding, the room was big with beautiful view from the harbor and sunset. First off, find out which port your ferry comes in. This hotel is within walking distance of the OLD port. But lots of ferries are now coming into the NEW port, which is not within walking distance. Hotel is in quiet location with very nice landscaping and pool. We spent 4 days of our honeymoon here. The was a constant welcome breeze to ease the direct sunlight. The general manager made himself known to us immediately when we arrived and was accessable throughout our stay. Shuttle service was regular and provided as needed. Hotel was a 10 minute walk uphill from town, and removed from rowdiness. Probably best suited for couples. Only flaw i noticed was the old bathroom, which was not boutique style, but looked like it was from the early 1990's and had an awkward side mounted shower head (removable luckily) which forces one to stand awkwardly in the bathtub. Excellent service with super friendly staff. Me and my two other friends were picked up at the port (a complimentary service from the hotel) with a nice Mercedez SUV. The staff greeted with friendly and welcoming manner. They provided us with a lot of information about restaurants (good ones), places to go, renting a car in the island. We were staying in one of the suites, and we received a welcoming platter of fruits with a bottle of white wine. The view from anywhere in the hotel was breathtaking, especially from our balcony. The surrounding neighborhood was very serene (and safe to walk to and from during the night). The pool area was also very nice with a great view (this is also where they serve breakfast - with great choice of breakfast food). The location of this hotel was a 10-minute walk from the center of the city, but the walk from the hotel can be very relaxing, except that the road was a little narrow and we had to be careful with automobile coming from both directions. So with only two nights in Mykonos -- our first time in Greece -- we searched for the ideal place, and definitely found it at the Kouros Hotel... it's PERFECT. LOCATION: It's a 2 minute cab ride from the ferry port, and a 10 minute walk to town. Plus […] they have complimentary airport transfers (5 minute drive). Such a tranquil location if you want access to restaurants and shopping but still want to feel secluded and tranquil. VIEW: The view from our room was absolutely stunning! Out of curiosity I asked if every room had a view, and indeed, every room is situated in such a way that you can see the gorgeous harbor and islands in the distance (Dilos, etc..) Ideal sunset watching. SERVICE: The staff were genuine and kind, accommodating whenever we had a question, and couldn't have been more helpful. BREAKFAST: Impressive! No matter where you're from, you can find something to satisfy you. Perfectly cooked eggs, and healthy options like yogurt with honey, nuts, and plenty of fruit. Greek specialties and traditional "continental" fare. You won't go hungry! AMENITIES: Swell pool with a bar, decent workout room, towels for the beach, a nice spa, and all stunningly designed on a rocky cliff overlooking the harbor. It's a gay-friendly environment (which is important to us), yet a mixed clientele - definetly NOT a party atmosphere (which is also important to us). Just the right balance. We loved everything about the hotel! The food was amazing and the breakfast was one of the best one we ever had anywhere. The only minus was the spa-experience. The 50 min massage was overpriced regarding the treatment. But otherwise our week in Kouros couldn't have been lovelier!!

My husband and I stayed at Kouros for 3 days during our honeymoon in 2008. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to return for a full week this year & are glad we did! The location is fantastic as it is close enough to Mykonos town to be within walking distance but far enough that you're not dealing with crowds of tourists coming off cruises. There […] are plenty of scooter/ATV rental spots close by making it easy to drive to your beach of choice as opposed to waiting for a crowded bus in town. If you want to experience the island & beaches of Mykonos, definitely rent one! If you have the time, take the boat from Mykonos town to Delos for the morning. The hotel itself is fantastic: - Great pool with lounge chairs, offering a perfect view of the water & sunset. - Buffet breakfast each morning in a lovely room next to the pool area. The food is great with hot & cold selections. - Rooms very spacious - Room all have balconies with a view of the water. - A/C in the hotel room works EXTREMELY well & takes only a minute to completely cool the room down. - Staff friendly & very helpful. Provided transfer to & from the airport at my request free of charge. - Gym small but has all the necessary equipment for a workout (treadmill, weights, etc.) - Everything decorated in the calm, pristine whites & blues of Mykonos. Tip: Pick up packs of large water bottles in town to bring back to the hotel. Read more

Very satisfied and glad I chose to stay in Mykonos longer than I originally planned. The hotel was wonderful and we had an excellent view of the Aegean Sea. Probably 20minutes walk to Mykonos Town but it is more convenient to rent a car/bike. Breakfast buffet was more than we asked for and i'd definitely come back here again! (:

Wunderschönes Hotel mit traumhaftem Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Das Team ist sehr nett und hiflsbereit. Beim Frühstück geben sie sich sehr viel Mühe. Der Pool ist ebenfalls sauber und groß genug zum Schwimmen. Ins Zentrum läuft man etwa 10 Minuten. Wir kommen sicher wieder!!
