"Clean and Comfortable, good breakfast"
Nice and clean but a bit spartan which is fine considering the very reasonable rate. Good parking. Breakfast area is clean and neat. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Local area isn't great but that's typical of this area of Cheyenne.
Fine.
We stayed in hotels for 10 days in a row. This was our first one. It was okay as a hotel but not the nicest of the 10 but it was in the same price range as the others.
"Microtel - Cheyenne"
While the rooms were comfortable - the heater was very hard to work. Many times it was too hot or too cold. Despite the room temperature challenges, the beds were very comfortable. The staff was partially friendly - there were a few staffers that could have definitely had some customer service training. Overall the hotel was a good deal and I would […] stay there again. "nice place but noisy"
Nice, new, clean. Very noisy from the trains though.
"Microtel in Cheyenne, WY"
New hotel so it is clean. Unable to regulate the heat from your room--regulated by the front desk. Check out was at 11:00 am. Had Do Not Disturb sign on door and houskeeping knocked at 9:00, 10:00 and 10:45 to ask us about cleaning the room and hotel not busy.

"New hotel along the main strip"
The hotel seems to be quite new and lies along the main strip going into town from the two interstates. All the other hotels are here as well, but this one is far enough into the town that there's no issue with noise from the highways (or the extensive rail lines that run through Cheyenne). Since it's a strip of hotels and auto-related centers, there's […] no places to eat within walking distance. However the gentleman who checked us in was very helpful in finding a restaurant that met our needs and even printed out a map with directions. That's the kind of good service you remember. Unfortunately it wasn't the only service we saw... The room was small, but comfortable. Bathroom functioned well and wifi was free. We didn't get a chance to use the fitness room, but it looked good. Breakfast was free but unappetizing. They had many selections, but all of it was prepackaged or unhealthy. Amazingly, for the number of people staying in the hotel, they only had three tables for people to sit at. There was a meeting room attached and I suppose normally they would have guests sit there, but this morning there was a meeting scheduled to start right at the end of breakfast. We asked the employee working there if it would be fine to eat in the meeting room for a few minutes and she said it was fine. Several other guests joined us. A few minutes later the manager came in and said bluntly "You can't be eating in here, we have a meeting that's about to start." I retorted "Where do you expect us to eat?" and since those three meager tables were still occupied, she pointed to the couch and coffee table in the lobby. That was not an appropriate place to eat breakfast and worse, it would only accommodate another three guests -- there were many more waiting to eat. I glared with disbelief. The manager rushed off another guest to clear a table and we sat down there. The manager, apparently feeling the heat, decided to take it out on her employee and began reprimanding her in front of the Read more
This hotel is brand new. The rooms are big and spacious and have never been smoked in. A very nice experience, overall.
"Not worth the money"
I am not sure what I expected for the rate I was charged, but it was definitely more than what this hotel offered. Maybe at a cheaper rate I wouldn't have felt so slighted. My room was right across from the icemaker, which was a nightmare! People started getting ice at 5 a.m.! Room was clean, but VERY small. If passing through Cheyenne again I will […] definitely try another hotel. Read more
"Nice place to stay but too far from the freeway."
The place is fairly new so it is quite nice, neat and clean. The breakfast bar is decent. My main problem is the neighborhood around the hotel isn't that great and it's proximity to the freeway is poor. It's about 2 miles away from the freeway. But all in all I would recommend staying here.

"Microtel Cheyenne"
Nice place, reasonably priced, with clean large rooms, very comfortable bed, sheets and pillows, and an average quality continental breakfast included in the room rate. Staff were professional and pleasant. This is in my estimation at least a 3 star hotel when you consider the overall features including free in room wireless internet. A little close […] (approximately 250 yards) to the railroad tracks for light sleepers as trains run through Cheyenne making their presence known at all hours of the day and night. Read more

"Microtel Inn - Great stay"
Had a great experience at this hotel. Clean and comfortable, great service, and friendly front desk help. Not so great on the internet side of things as it was difficult to connect and once connected a lot of sites (not dirty or questionable) were blocked due to the idea that there were too many viruses introduced with certain websites. To that I say […] get a better virus control. Other than that, a great place and very comfortable place to stay. I would recommend it for a place to stay and will return for another stay as well. It took awhile for them to access my account and I had to get transfered to another room because they put me in a room next to the lobby with the blaring tv on the wall and the new room didn't have the AC working.

"Cheyenne Frontier Days - Good place to stay"
Nice Clean hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Will stay there again.
"microtel in Cheyenne"
WOW WHERE DO I BEGIN. WE GET TO THE HOTEL WHICH IS VERY CLOSE TO THE HIGHWAY. WE GET THERE AND CHECK IN WAS GOOD. WE GET TO THE ROOM AND THIS IS THE SMALLEST ROOM I HAVE EVER STAYED IN. THERE WAS VERY LITTLE EXTRA ROOM IN THERE. THANK GOD FOR FLAT SCREEN TVS OR THERE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ANY ROOM FOR A TV. THIS HOTEL IS DOING SOMETHING DIFFERENT WHICH […] IN MOST CASES IS GOOD. IT HAS A MOTION SENSOR IN THE ROOM. IF THERE IS NO MOTION IN THERE FOR AWHILE IT TUNRS OFF THE LIGHTS (GOOD IDEA). BUT ME AND MY FAMILY WERE WATCHING TV AND THE TV SHUTS OFF ALSO. i GUESS ONE WAY THEY TRY TO THROW YOU OFF THAT THE ROOM IS SO SMALL IS THEY HAVE ONE ENTIRE WALL OF MIRRORS BEHIND THE BEDS. KINDA LOOKS LIKE A CIA INTEROGATION ROOM, YOU CAN JUST PICTURE A BUNCH OF PEOPLE BEHIND A ONE WAY MIRROR WATCHING YOU. IT APPEARS THE ROOMS ARE NEW BUT FOR THE PRICE AND SIZE OF THE ROOM THERE ARE BETTER CHOICES IN THAT TOWN. DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. Read more
"Microtel Cheyenne...disappointing"
Air conditioning was on high when we arrived with an outside temperature in the 60's. we could not control the unit from the wall thermostat. The front desk adjusted the controls from their computer and after that we could not even turn on the fan for circulation. Breakfast was extremely poor. I will never stay at another of these hotels and would caution […] anyone else from doing so. They put a charge on my credit card for incidentals of which there was none. It took more than a week to get the credit back. On a 21 day trip staying at 15 different locations, this is the only one that actually charged my credit card for a hold on incidental expenses. I won't be fooled again!!! Read more
