FALLS MOTEL - Niagara Falls

The service and office staff are phenomenal. It is a family-owned business and they are happy to answer any questions guests may have. With that said, this is not the best place to stay if you're visiting Niagara Falls. The rooms are not as clean as they should be, and the area in general is a little sketchy. Falls motel - this place is all about the fabulous people who run it! If you are looking for friendly, helpful proprietors, affordable comfortable accommodation then don't go past the Falls Motel. My son and I were fortunate enough to arrive in the Falls just prior to the season ending.  We arrived by train, caught a cab, unfortunately the driver took […] us to the wrong place and being unfamiliar with the town I called the Falls Motel to get directions. Instead of giving us directions to arrange another cab, Charles came to pick us up from the town centre and took us back to the motel even though it was quite late. As we didn't have a car (and not prepared to drive on the other side of the road) Colin and Charles were happy to drop us at various locations and take us around the falls. Both Charles and Colin were generous with their time and are fabulous ambassadors for the Falls region.  Our time spent at the Falls would have been much less enjoyable without the friendly support offered by Charles and Colin.   Read more

The hotel is older and has not been updated but what they have is kept clean and working the staff is friendly and willing to help in anyway. The location is within 10 min. of Niagara Falls. I would stay here again.

Very responsive hosts. First property to be prepared for all 6 of us (towels/ sheets)even though that is what we booked at all our reservations. Had a breakfast basket ready for us at check in... muffins, fruit, juice. Very convenient to falls and knowledgeable of area. An older, court type motel but comfortable.

The Falls Motel is a great value, with clean, comfortable bedding, free Wi-Fi, compact refrigerators and microwave ovens. The rooms are small and not luxurious, but I would gladly stay here again. The owners include nice touches, like better-than-average towels, and provide excellent service.

I chose this hotel because of the 'mom and pop ' review on trip advisor. I'd just endured a very noisy stay at the Crowne Plaza in Albany and since this only had twelve rooms I figured it would be much quieter - I was pleasantly surprised that it is run by an Australian family and their grown up son Colin was to be come my 'personal chauffeur ' for […] the following few days ,taking me not only to see the Falls but also ran me in to town to pick up some dinner a couple of times -I can't promise he'll do that for everyone but we got on like a house on fire ! - I was only going to stay one night and ended up staying for 3 - Yes, my room was in need of refurbishment, but the air con worked ( if a bit noisy ) the bed was comfy and the linen clean , as a woman travelling on her own I am not looking for a swanky room . I want a reasonable price and most of all safety for myself and my belongings and I felt comfortable enough to go out and leave my ipad and pc on display - coffee and tea were provided and on request I got real milk ! There's a fridge too. A small breakfast of a piece of fruit , water , juice and a breakfast muffin is also supplied and most importantly to me the internet was free and a reasonable speed . For the atmosphere alone I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel - if you are looking to impress your girlfriend then don't do it but if you want a comfy and safe stay for a low price then go for it and say Hi to Colin from me ! By the way - the Canadian side of the falls is horrible and commercial - walk over the bridge to get the view but then get back to the US as fast as your feet will take you -spend time in the park , your soul will thank you for it - I am writing this from the Canadian side ( I've moved over to see a little of Canada before I head home ) and it's all Hard Rock and Casino and amusement arcades and a water park - HORRIBLE ! if you've got kids it will bankrupt you and the constant nagging of buy me this or that daddy will driv Read more

Owners are very kind, cheery and would go out of their way to help you out. Gave a basket of muffins, fruit, juice, bottled water local paper for breakfast. Room, was very small but clean.
