Parking space too small to fit our hire car but manager did provide his own car space for us. Was expecting 2 Italian ladies owners based on feedback given previously only to find 2 men had recently taken over. Room not as clean as it could have been. Bathroom too small. Couldn't have picked up soap if it had fallen down in the shower. Street noise too loud, no double grazing on windows Room looked very tired.

I have stayed in Blackpool a few times previously and have stayed in some nightmare places. So i decided to pay a little more and hope I got somewhere decent to lay my head. I certainly did, the hotel was clean even the skirting boards and the door trims were dust free, the sheets were white crisp and clean and smelt of soap powder. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. the young girl that cooked and served our breakfasts was polite and cheerful, along with cooking a scrumptious breakfast. I would definitely stay here again. it is 3* accommodation at its best....
Best hotel in Blackpool By far. Stayed in family room (5) Again. Made to feel very welcome. A lovely light airy comfortable room. Delicious breakfast 🍳 every morning at what time suits you and your family best. Short walk to centre and attractions. Looking forward to next visit.
Another lovely stay at the beachcomber !!
We stay in room 5 (family room)not very big room but always clean and airy. Best breakfast I think we have had from any hotel we have stayed at. Keep it up Mick and Malcolm.
I visited The Beachcomber Hotel in June for two nights while we visited Blackpool for the Pride Festival. I was with a party of 4 other friends (4 of us in 1 room, 1 in another), and the hosts went totally out of their way for us, when we were running late coming up from London - we didn't arrive until nearly 3am and they still (although we said they didn't have to) waited up for us. The room was clean and comfortable, with ample towels and toiletries. We felt like it was a home away from home and would not hesitate in recommending it to everyone. Full English breakfast was standard, but one of our party had dietery considerations, which were looked after. Could not fault this place.
Great B&B. Perfect hosts. Beautiful breakfast. I'm a bit fussy about where I stay, but the Beachcomber hotel is perfect.
The room was clean with lots of storage space, the bed was VERY comfortable and the linen had a wonderful smell to it. It was all fresh.
The bathroom was immaculately clean, the shower was lovely, and the bath towels plenty supplied were nice and big and fresh.
Plenty of free parking out the front and back. 10 minute walk into town. Pleasure beach is probably about a 30 minute walk (we took our time) so for some may not be as far!
Beautiful breakfast in the morning. Cereals on offer (named mini boxed brands)! Plenty of fresh juices, and then the best cooked breakfast I've had in a long time. It was fresh and non greasy.
Thank you Mally & Mick for a warm and welcoming stay. We will be back soon.
We stayed at The Beachcomber Hotel for just one night, on 11th July. I wish we'd stayed for longer.
The hotel is just a 10 minute walk from Blackpool town centre and is run by 2 of the most delightful and friendly gentlemen you could wish to meet, whose only interest is to ensure that you enjoy your stay in their hotel.
The rooms are basic, but IMMACULATELY clean, with a small (but well-equipped) en-suite bathroom. The shower was hot and had a good head of pressure.
Breakfast is cooked to order, is hot, well presented, and served with a smile.
We don't visit Blackpool very often, but we will definitely make a bee-line for this place as a first option on our next visit. For many reasons, but top of the list is the warm welcome and friendliness of the hosts, Mally and Mick. Thank you for a great stay. We only wish we could've stayed longer.
rooms are very clean, beds are all clean, bathroom was spotless, towels all fresh as was the bedding, no noise at all, was a real great place to stay, we made a very last min booking and was made very welcome, cant wait to go back real soon, A1, top class staff in a very nice place very close to the town centre, easy walking distance for everything, or very close to the bus stop if you dont fancy a walk
have to be honest the place needs updateing from the moment you arrive you can see it needs someone to give the place a feeling of life bright wall paper not something that makes you feel down before you start.the room well just one like many others in blackpool not something you could say thats nice or thats diffrent the room was very cold just a small electric heater going down for breakfast well eating in a room to say the lease was cold and well again needs someone to take a closer look at the food well same old same old just that good would we go back no sad to say has nice people but its the hotel ive to review not the people
We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay at the Beachcomber Hotel. The staff and owners were extremely helpful and friendly and the rooms were really clean, modern and tastefully furnished. Traffic noise could hardly be heard. Breakfast was brilliant. Already looking forward to returning again.
