"Great service, BUT...."
Honestly, the staff was extremely friendly. The shuttle to the airport was extremely convenient as you could just hop on the train to the city. However, the hotel was built a mere 6 years ago (2008) and you can tell the contractors really went the cheap route with choice in materials. It just was very clearly prematurely dilapidating. I feel like I […] should have paid the extra $100/night to stay at a hotel in the city considering each train ride costed us $8/person and the taxi ride was $30 plus tip. Also, I paid $15 for two bagels and two orange juices for breakfast at Aloft. I could have purchased two homemade bagels and two hand squeezed orange juices for the same fees from a beautiful cafe downtown, not a junky hotel on the outskirts of the city. Everything about the hotel was good, a little far from Phil. only disappointment you had to pay for parking on top of the rate of the room. Prob to keep people from using there parking lot and going to the airport. I believe the hotel should reimburse this fee, but they don't.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Aloft was highly convenient, being located right next to the airport. In addition, they offer a free shuttle service to and from the airport. The hotel had a retro-modern feel to it. I know that sounds contradictory, but that's the vibe I got. I liked the clean little "grab and go" store next to the front desk. It felt more homey instead of an institutionalized […] store for necessities. My stomach was disappointed to find there was no restaurant on the premises when I arrived after my late flight. I was instructed to walk to one of the other hotels to get food. The walk was super short, but not being able to order room service was definitely a minus, in my book. My room looked clean, but upon closer examination, I'm glad I brought flip flops to walk around in on the bathroom tiles. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"It was okay"
I've stayed at plenty of Aloft hotels and this one was a little below average for the cost. The rooms are always small so that's not a real big deal. The only problems were with the hotel being old and little things not working like the elevator taking you to the wrong floor, doors not working etc. The biggest complaint is that the parking lot is gated […] and it's hard to try to get in and out of the parking lot and the lot itself is small. "Great hotel near sports venues"
We stayed at this hotel to attend a concert at the Citizens Bank Park. It was about a 10 mins drive to the stadiums and a 20 min drive to downtown Philly. The price was within our price range and it was perfect for what we needed it for (a good night sleep in a good/clean location). The layout of the room was pretty cool. The pool area (indoor) looked […] a bit dicey but we weren't planning on using it anyway. The only complaint I really have is the room had a strange but suttle smell to it but it didn't bother us enough to complain. I would stay here again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Stayed here for a concert in the area ,it was perfect. 10 mins away from stadium. Perfect setting. Didn't even feel like a airport hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Nice hotel near airport"
12 dollars to park... Staff could have been a little more informative once we checked in didn't know any of the amenities and hours for pool bar, and wifi had to call and find out all these things... And where to get ice.. Room was nice clean and comfy, okay place to staff overallGenuine Expedia guest review
"Aloft at PHL"
It was a great location. Rooms were sufficient enough. They didn't collect pool towels and almost every chair had a used towel. We didn't use the pool, but that would've been a deterrent to using it. I didn't catch the part about paying for parking. Other options in the area don't charge and are just as sufficient. Some include breakfast. There are […] choices, but it was good enough. "Great airport hotel"
A perfect place to stay by the airport.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Overall, a nice hotel which will be nicer once they finish the construction work. This was my first time at ALOFT, and the room took a little getting used to. Luckily, we were in a remodeled room. They're a little small and definitely leaned towards the "trendy" in terms of design and function. I'd stay there again though. The only thing I didn't like […] was paying $12/day for parking during our visit. I've never stayed at a hotel that didn't waive a parking fee for guests - or at least just built it into the cost of the room. A little sneaky for my liking. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Aloft Philadelphia Airport Close to the airport"
Hotel was not clean. Shower tile and grout were dirty. Put card on the door that I was willing to not have my linens washed and would reuse in the interest of the environment. I didn't know that I was declining housekeeping. Spent a lot of money to make my own bed. Duvet cover was lumpy. There is no food service in restaurant except a small store (Refuel) […] with over priced snacks. Front desk staff was very courteous when I could get to them but most of the time there were too many people waiting to speak to them. Elevators had blankets hanging like they were moving furniture. Overall not what I was expected from a W property. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Aloft Phila Airport"
We stayed at this hotel several times before and for the price it is ok..This time though we were in the end room next to the highway...lots of road noise and tough to sleep.we will not go back....the other frustrating thing is they now charge $12.00/day to park..even for the night you stay in the hotel..and the automated gate to let you out of the […] parking lot is very confusing to some folks..we had to wait behind someone who did not know how to operate it..wasted 5 minutes of our time until I got out of the car to help them.and then when we left ,even though our ticket was validated we had to use the intercom to call the attendant to let us out....in this day and age where everyone is in a hurry we don't have time for this nonsense..won't be staying here again... Hotel lobby looks great and the hotel is remodeling the rooms. Our room had not been remodeled. The duvet cover looked like a small child was under it because the feathers were clumped together on the end. The air conditioner was very loud.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Modern hotel with a pool"
We stayed two nights. Food to buy was pricey. Very modern feel. Liked the look but not as cozy as some hotels. Pool was nice. "Close to Airport"
The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is generally pretty good. It looked like they were doing renovations to some of the rooms, but I don't think they'd gotten to my room yet. The tile in the shower was in need of repair.Genuine Expedia guest review
Our first time staying at this hotel. Enjoyed the user friendly design of the room. Staff was helpful and friendly. Access to pool and restaurants on the same campus was handy as we had family staying there. Highly recommend the "Relish" restaurant in the Sheraton across the way. Food in hotel restaurants usually sucks. This was outstanding. We ate […] three different meals there because of convenience and quality.Pool at aloft was inside and heated. . ./but a tad murky. We had access to Four Circles salt water pool which was chilly due to time of year. . .but very nice. We plan to stay at an Aloft again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close access to airport with good shuttle service"
No free breakfast, but other Sheraton hotels in the corridor have meal service for other meals. I arrived late without meal service on the plane and after getting through customs, really no place to get food at airport before baggage claim area. It just looks a little dated and shabby, even though signs up they are in the midst of remodeling their bathrooms. After […] a shower, you open the shower door and water drips out onto the floor in front of the toilet, so always wet. Rest of the room was comfortable and nice enough. "Cool place, I would definitely stay again."
I overall enjoyed my stay. Was really hip and modern and clean. Staff was especially nice and helpful. My only complaints were 1) the pool looked nasty. I wouldn't put my toe in it. It looked really dirty. 2) Also, would have been nice to have at least a continental breakfast. Not a big deal though.Genuine Expedia guest review
Our room was muggy the moment we stepped in-damp and humid despite being a nice day outside. It felt sleazy with a partial see-through glass wall between the shower and bedroom. The sheets were not crisp nor did they feel clean. The bed was decent. The carpet felt grimy. To top it off, found a small red/brown bug crawling on my skin while watching tv […] in bed - freaked out thinking it was a bedbug and spent the next 30 minutes googling pictures of baby bedbugs (not sure what it was). There were only 2 large towels and 2 small towels which were not enough. They had signs up that they were doing bathroom renovations - thank goodness because the showers were gross. However, nice bathroom toiletries. Most aloft hotels I've been to are modern and nice but this hotel is just old and run down. Extremely disappointed because I definitely paid more to stay here due to aloft's modern reputation...should have made reservations elsewhere considering there's multiple other hotels within walking distance from it. The exterior of the hotel was lovely but the rooms were a mess. Mini frig didn't work. Coffee maker in rooms but no coffee. Carpet was stained. Hallway smelled as if there was a flood/leak an carpet fresh was overused to try and mask the odor.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not for me"
We walked to the elevators and when the door opened we were greeted by a filthy elevator! There were glasses on the floor like someone had a party in there. The floors were disgusting, the glass shower door was peeling apart, the toilet did not flush right the hair dryer was sticky and dirty. No floor mats were available for the shower floor so I used […] a towel the hotel had an put it in the shower floor. They are renovating bathrooms there as they did have sings up and around telling us that. But come on bugs in the bathrooms. There is a pool there but no lifeguard on duty plus its probably best not to swim in that water it had some weird greenish tint to it. In the morning I went down stairs to the front and realized breakfast was super expensive. for a small Orange juice I am hypoglycemic so I didn't have a choice but to buy it. Not a big selection of breakfast either a bagel or toast or a banana or a Orange. I had it charged to my room . The doors are super heavy so you will hear slamming doors all night long. When we left for dinner our key did not open the gate so every time we left we had to get a new ticket to get back in. Ridiculous! When we checked out we were compared the expensive breakfast and for two days of parking. Well I was not impressed at all. So I wouldn't recommend this place if it was the only place there you are better sleeping in your car. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Satisfactory place to end your day"
The hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating. The hotel itself is located conveniently close to the airport. My room was very clean. That being said, the condition of the rest of the hotel was satisfactory at best. At a glance the hotel is sleek and modern but the devil is in the details; stains, rips, tears in couches, cushions, and carpeting, […] chipped and peeling paint- almost everything looked dirty upon closer inspection. There were a few glaring issues with cleanliness/maintenance. The indoor swimming pool looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. There was a repulsive layer of grime floating on top of the water and random articles of trash on the bottom. Used towels were scattered about the area, on the floor, on lounge chairs. The communal bar/lounge area, despite its proximity to the front desk and numerous staff members seemed to be forgotten from the night before- there were used and empty drink glasses strewn about tables. The hotel claimed to be undergoing renovations as evidenced by a sign portraying before/after pictures of the showers (my room unfortunately had an "old" shower), but other than the sign there was very little evidence of any renovation to the rest of the hotel other than drapery donning the walls of both elevators making them look rather dirty as well. As I had only needed the hotel as a home base for activities in Philadelphia, my room suited me just fine. But I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who hopes to enjoy any amenities. Personnel very friendly and accommodating. Easy access to main highway. Only crit would be that the hotel is currently in the process of updating. "Not 100% satisfied"
I did not like the layout, or colors. I didn't feel a family type atmosphere. It must be a hotel for people to party. We were there to rest after a long out of state drive to visit a family member in the hospital. There were five of us in one room. I did not like the fact that you could not close the bathroom door securely and also we never could get […] the wifi to work. The beds were like way down on the floor. It felt almost like we were sleeping on a large cot. I think they should make people aware how expensive it is to park there also. I cannot say that I would not recommend it for someone else because someone else may like it, but we did not. It was definitely not worth what we were charged. "Very Poor Customer service"
THE HOTEL STAFF WAS VERY RUDE. THEY NEED TO WORK ON CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. APPARENTLY BREAKFAST AT THIS HOTEL WAS NOT INCLUDED AS WELL AS PARKING, AND THE ROOM KEY DID NOT WORK. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED AND WELL CONSIDER DIFFERENT ACCOMMODATIONS NEXT TIME I TRAVEL TO PHILADELPHIA.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This place has seen better days. Don't be fooled by the flashy website advertising - the "pantry" is more like 2 rows of sandwiches and drinks, the "gym" is a row of exercise machines like a home gym. All the so-called amenities are basically in one big room on the ground floor, including the tiny bar. The rooms have nowhere to sit and eat (there is […] only the measly pantry items- no room service and no decent restaurants nearby). My room had a very long desk, but the tv was on the same plane so you couldn't eat and watch tv from it. Parking is also NOT included. I wouldn't recommend or go back. "A little too cool....."
I came up from a neighboring state. When I walked in, concierge was complaining about her hours and working by herself. I was greeted in a timely fashion and she was more than polite and helped out of a jam regarding my deposit. The rooms were a tad small but beautiful, you could tell they are renovating though. The lobby/ bar was so adorable it was […] like a mini nightclub. The only thing I hated was having to go all the way to the bar to get ice. I had settled in for the night and looked less than cute coming downstairs in front of the packed bar. Other than that, I had a really nice night. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Easy Airport Access at modern, lovely hotel"
I got stuck overnight at PHL because of bad weather and found a room at Aloft. Hotel is very modern and hip, with very comfortable rooms. The AC in my room didn't work, but three members of the engineering staff got it fixed (it required replacing the whole unit with another) with speed and good spirits. Food in the bar is appetizers, but interesting […] choices that turned out to be enough for dinner. More substantial meals are available at other Sheraton properties nearby with ample choices. Arrived at 3pm and was told our 2-queen room wasn't ready as it was being cleaned and they didn't know how long it would be. So the wait began, 1 hour later we rec'd the same answer. And the wait continued...for another half hour. We were tkd the reason it took so long is that they are an airport hotel and didn't have a lot of 2-bed rooms. Why they […] would wait to clean those last rather than first is beyond me. After the initial unknown wait, which didn't allow us to do anything but sit there because nobody was willing to say how long the wait was (there were others that we're waiting longer than us!).
