The location cannot be beat, close to all attractions and only a short walk from the main bus station. Incredibly clean, serene rooms with a gorgeous rose garden courtyard. The owner is very kind, understanding, and eager to offer lots of advice to maximize your enjoyment of Bodrum. Plan on staying there again soon.

For what we paid at the Iberostar, I felt it was great value. The Buffet was wonderful and bountiful...something for everyone. Great room with a view of Turkey and except for the shuttle bus driver, George, the staff was great!

You should tell us that their are room facing the beach and it coast a little bit more, so we can have the chance to book that room which is facing the ocean, best regards

On Kos’ north coast, five kilometres from the airport, Mastichari is relatively cheap and less commercial than Kos’ other resorts, although it is expanding. Ideal for families looking for relaxation, it offers a decent sand beach lined with sunloungers and backed by bars and tavernas. The nearby Lido Water Park has a large wave pool, lazy river and giant slides. Regular daily ferries connect Mastichari with the sponge-diving island of Kalymnos.

sehr schöne hotelanlage und strand auch o.k. allerdings liegen am strand nur für frühaufsteher. essen von extrem einfacher qualität und meistens lauwarm bis kalt. quantität o.k. aber zwischen mehreren einfachen nudelgerichten und anderen billiggerichten auszuwählen, nicht annährend 5 sterne like. angefangen vom frühstück mit dosen-ananass (als beispiel) […] bis zum abendlichen dessert mit Muku-einfacheiscreme. alles mit schmalen budget eingekauft. wir haben das ital. a la carte ausprobiert. 5 einfache nudel oder pizzagerichte im wert von eher 6 als 7 euro. keine vorspeisen oder salat. ich finde unglaublich.... für mich ein gr. nachteil die sehr schlechte handy-verbindung. besonders im zimmer fast nie. internet nur in der lobby möglich. wir hatten die teuere suite zimmer variante. sehr schöne zimmer, bei den normalen zimmern kann man viel pech haben, im haupthaus oder souterrain. alles zusammen würde ich es sicher nicht empfehlen. wenn das essen vollkommen unwichtig ist, dann vielleicht, aber nur mit pkw. abends ist die atmossphäre schlecht und man kommt nur mit dem auto zu den netten örtchen in der nähe. "Nicht wirklich ein 5-Sterne Hotel"
Wir (2 Erwachsene und 2 15jährige Teenager) haben im Juli 2011 1 Woche im Marmari Palace verbracht.Die Anlage ist originell konzipiert,die Poollandschaft traumhaft schön gestaltet und das Meer sehr nahe. Es hat dort zwar nicht sehr viele Sonnenschirme, aber eine Menge Leute bleiben sowieso an den Pools. Achtung, die Liegestühle in der Anlage werden […] grösstenteils bereits in der Nacht reserviert! Das Doppelzimmer der Mädchen war sehr klein,aber wenigstens nicht im Untergeschoss,wie viele andere Zimmer in dieser Anlage! Eventuell bei der Buchung vermerken,man rechnet ja bei 5 Sternen nicht mit Kellerräumen!! Unsere Junior-Suite hingegen entsprach den Erwartungen, war geräumig,ansprechend ausgestattet und wunderbar gelegen.Leider stimmte das Gefälle der Dusche nicht, so dass wir nur mit Mühe eine Ueberflutung verhindern konnten. Ueber die defekten Raffvorhänge am Fenster konnte man hinwegsehen,obschon die Aussicht grandios gewesen wäre! Das Essen in diesem Hotel entspricht in keiner Weise einem 5- Sterne-Niveau. Auch der Speisesaal wirkte laut und überfüllt,die Vorhänge waren immer zugezogen,was dazu führte,dass bereits am Morgen bei strahlendem Sonnenschein das Licht eingeschaltet wurde.Es lohnt sich,auf Terrassenplätze zu warten! Zum Glück kann man in die griechische Taverne und ins italienische Restaurant ausweichen,muss aber früh reservieren. Der Lärmpegel abends ist enorm hoch,Poolbar und zu nahe gelegene Showbühne liefern sich einen Kampf bezüglich Lautstärke,man kann nicht in Ruhe einen Kaffee trinken. Unser Tip: Ins benachbarte Horizon Beach flüchten oder am Strand entlang in die Vienna Bar des Hotels Neptun schlendern,wo ausgezeichnete Musik gespielt wird! Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen,werden aber dieses Hotel beim nächsten Mal nicht mehr berücksichtigen. Read more
