Everything was excellent from the room to the breakfast. We will definately be staying there again.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great place to stay"
The staff was very nice and professional. The breakfast was a hot breakfast off eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, yogurt, fresh fruit and pastries. I was really shocked at how nice the breakfast and hotel was for the price. I will stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Texas City Comfort Inn"
This hotel was wonderful! They had the most outgoing staff and took care of our every need. I will stay at this Comfort Inn again. It was great!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place but...."
I got the king suite. When I go to hotels I expect it to feel homey. Luckly I was there for only one night. If I would have stayed longer I would feel as if I am in an insane asylum. They need more decor and wallpaint and up to date furniture. Bed was EXTREMLEY comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"close to restaurants"
Pleasant stay and clean. Nice breakfast and easy to find.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Was a very nice stay, very comfortable and cleanGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel was great. We stayed here to get a less expensive hotel while visiting Galveston. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. I would definatly stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect for cruisers the night before embarking."
This hotel is about 10-15 minutes from Galveston, and it costs much less than a comparable Galveston hotel. It's perfect if you are spending the night before leaving on a cruise, like what we did. It has a free continental breakfast, a pool, and wi-fi so, unless you are looking for a 5-star hotel, this is probably all you will need. The next time we […] cruise out of Galveston, we will stay here again the night before we embark. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Our stay was Great! The next time we're in town that's exactly where we'll go.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The condition of the hotel was very good...Only complaint would be the quality of towels and wash cloths; thin and rough material..Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The woman at the front desk was rude, the room smelled bad (like mildew), beds uncomfortable, service was horrible (I asked for a couple of extra towels and the lady at the front desk made me go up to my room and bring down two dirty towels), coffee looked like tan water it was so weak. I travel all the time and intentionally stay in different hotels […] so that I can let the general public know information regarding the hotel. My advice is do not stay at this hotel. I was not happy with this hotel at all. The clerk - Alex - was very rude and unfriendly. Nothing was working. The detergent machine in the laudry room was out of service and none was available at the front desk. The back door that was right outside our room was not working so we had to go all the way around to the front everytime we needed to go to […] our vehicle. The spa/hot tub was not working. The hotel smelled of mildew. The pillows on the beds were very tiny and the beds were very unconformatable. The rooms were very clean and spacious other than that. The food on the continental breakfast bar was nasty. I will not stay here ever again Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Family beach trip"
We stayed here to avoid paying higher prices in Galveston. Short commute, worth the savings. Hotel overall felt clean, safe and secure. It was quiet other than our room being directly across from a staircase door which periodically slammed, but it wasn't too bad at that. There was a musty smell in the hallways--as if the hotel or floor used to be a […] smoking area and no longer is. Other than that, it was fine. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"A very nice hotel in the middle of a bad area"
The room was like new and everything was in good repair. The water is very hard and is a little rough in the shower. The location was only about a 20 minute drive to our fishing peer and we had a great time deep sea fishing on two 12 hour charters to the Gulf of Mexico. This hotel is located in Texas City, one of the most industrial areas in all of […] Texas. It is surrounded by refineries and gas plants. If you can get into the room with out gagging from the smell, it is not too bad once inside. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Everything...Nice Price"
Nice hotel. Super close to Galveston without the hefty price tag. Perfect for staying at before going on a cruise (15 minutes to terminal).Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean and Confortable"
Everything about this hotel is exceptional, from the facilities to the staff. Good breakfast too.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Quick Weekend Family Fun"
Our family went to this hotel to visit Galveston for the weekend. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was nice and it was close to the beach. Definitely would recommend.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"ok but needs courteous employees"
The morning hotel staff needs some help in being cheerful and helpful especially considering they have a lot of cruise guests. The breakfast had a lot to be desired also. The hotel itself is clean and everything was in working order. A little off the beaten path. Next time I will probably find a hotel closer to the terminal.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice, quiet place"
Very clean and comfortable. I stayed here with my fiancé for a weekend at Galveston. It's only a short drive from Galveston and was located in a pretty quiet place. The hotel was very neat and clean. If I had to complain about something, it may have to be the fact that the cable TV was regular quality signal on a flat screen that should probably need […] a 720p signal. Since we didn't really go to watch TV I wouldn't dock any points for that (just an observation.) As a side more, I saved myself a significant amount of money by staying outside of Galveston. That gave me some extra money to spend on my fiancé's surprise present! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient to Galveston"
This hotel is an excellent place to stay the night before your cruise.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was a great place to stay. I will stay again and again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Texas City Comfort Inn"
Front desk staff was very helpful. We had requested a crib; however, the request was lost in cyberspace. Within ten minutes of us arriving, they had the crib delivered to our room. The room was very clean and big enough for me, my husband, and our two babies. Helped that they had a fridge and microwave for their bottles.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Quiet and Clean"
This hotel was the perfect stay for one night. I had a triathlon in the Galveston area and didn't want to pay resort prices. This Comfort Inn was much cheaper and only a 10 minute drive from my race. If you ignore the refineries in the distance, it's in a pretty peaceful spot!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"You carnot get breakfast aftner 7 o'clock"
Nice staff at the frontdesk. The only trouble we have had with this hotel was that we could not get any breakfast. We came down at 8 o'clock at then we could not get a table and there was nearly no food at all. We had to go to Deny's to get breakfast.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Industrial, but handy location"
While the hotel is surrounded by oil refineries, it's also close to Kroger and dining, and not far from Highway 45 with very easy access to Galveston. Everything worked, the refrigerator was bigger than most. Overall a pleasant experience if you don't mind the industrial location.Genuine Expedia guest review
I chose this hotel due to the reviews on it. I have found that a more expensive room doesn't mean a better nights stay. This motel is one of the best values for a room I know of. I stayed in the king suite and it was very adequate in size and comfort. I was spending the weekend in Galveston and Kema and it was centrally located. I was also surprised […] that the breakfast was as nice as it was. Hot biscuits, gravy, eggs, waffles and cereals along with traditional pastries. Excellent value. "Texas City Comfort Inn"
The hotel is just fine. It was spring break. It was crowded everywhere including the hotel. Some adjacent rooms had noisy people who were a little disturbing. The breakfast is okay, but we had a few problems operating the coffee/water thermoses. Overall, the hotel is pretty nice. We plan to stay there again in May.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"NOT NON-WHEELCHAIR HANIDICAP FRIENDLY"
THE ELEVATOR IS DOWN A HALL , NOT IN LOBBY AND WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE ROOMS NOT CLOSE TO ELEVATOR. I WAS CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF WHAT THE HOTEL COULD DO BECAUSE i WENT THRU HOTEL.COM. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED. THANK YOUGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"VERY NICE PLACE"
The hotel had recently been remodeled so everything was new and very clean. The breakfast was great and the staff was very helpful. I will stay here again when I go back to Texas City.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel for Galveston Cruise"
Stayed in this hotel the night before a cruise departing from Galveston. Very convenient, friendly staff; clean and comfortable; would definitely stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The surrounding area is full of refineries. It is not really a bad point, but some may think so. The hotel was otherwise great. Cont. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were great. Room was great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Glad we stayed here"
I had previoulsy dismissed staying in Texas City for a Galveston visit, but it only took 8-9 minutes to get to the Galveston bridge. The reason I decided to stay here was because of some of the negative reviews for hotels on the island for 1.5 to twice the price. I am willing to pay the higher price for the Island, but it sure better be worth every […] penny, and my impression was that they were not going to be, being frugal kind of person that I am. This hotel was superb, the one bed suite was really nicely done, very clean, and we felt like it was a special place. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel in Texas City"
When we checked into Comfort Suites we immediatly went and checked out the rooms and went out to the pool everything was nice and clean. We went to breakfast the next morning and there was a good variety and we were very satisfied with the food and the rooms. The only suggestion we had was vent fans in the bathrooms. Also I recieved a coupon online […] from hotels.com which I was unable to use at this or any other location in the area.. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to the Island, and Affordable!"
Great alternative to the pricy Galveston hotels. Less than 15 minutes to the Strand. Friendly staff, and clean hotel. Pool was small, and quaint. My husband and I enjoyed a romantic stay here for our anniversary. King sweet was spacious and had great amenities. Free movie channels were a nice perk. We'll be back soon!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A good spot to stay"
When we checked in, the guy at the desk was super friendly and told us about places to eat in the area. The room was really spacious and spotless. I used the pool there and found it clean and excellent. We were really pleased with our stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
