Upon entering the room noticed that the mirrors in the room and bathroom were streaked. The toilet and tub did not look clean. In the morning I told housekeeping that the room did not need to be serviced and had the do not disturb sign on the door. The housekeeper even checked our room off his list. I did not feel comfortable with the housekeeper. After […] breakfast and church we returned to the hotel. I took a nap while my friend jumped in the shower. I heard a knock and the door open and then shut. I thought that my roommate ordered something and she thought that I had. I spoke to the head of housekeeping and she assured me that she would speak to him and that he was new. I would think that housekeeping 101 would teach the staff that a do not disturb sign on the door means exactly that. Thank goodness I was not in "honeymoon" attire. Read more

The rooms are small,no frig., the AC unit worked when it wanted to. The room got very hot and could not get the AC on even after setting it to 60. The so called breakfast was HORRIBLE:(

My husband and 2 kids were very happy with the space. It was smaller than most rooms, as many of the reviews warned but it was perfect for us. The aspects that were small was the closet and desk space but we don't use those anyway so it work out perfect. Beds were on the softer side. They were very accommodating when we arrived early, everyone was very friendly and service was great. The room was a little small but clean and well maintained. Being located in a commercial area and not directly on the highway, a more visible sign on the highway would have helped to find it. The stay was very comfortable and will stay there again.

Took about 30 minutes to get checked in for 2 rooms. One of our assigned rooms already had guests in it. Don't think they were too happy to be walked in on. Another room we were assigned had not been cleaned. Most of this problem was due to the training of a new employee on their first day on the job which is understandable. All of the staff was awesome. We had a very pleasant stay, and this was our second time coming w/in a 2 week span. Both times was awesome and we will come back to this hotel anytime. Our kids loved the breakfast, it was clean, and anything we needed they were very willing to take care of. Very impressed!!!

Handy location after a day in Atlanta, with straightforward access to I-75 N, plenty of good places to each in central Woodstock, and some decent ones within 5 min. of the hotel. We love this chain for a reliably good stop while traveling. Breakfast area is sorta small, but otherwise fine. Would happily stay here again.

The hotel was a little hard to find. It's in a shopping center. The room was comfortable altho a little small. Also, the person in the next room came in very late and turned the TV on .... the walls are a little thin. The people at the front desk were very friendly.

Very nice little hotel and super quiet! We stayed here for 2 nights in August when our home AC went out. Loved how quiet it was, even though it is just off the interstate and a busy road. We were there just long enough to sleep each night. My son loved the neat window seat and the flat screen TV was nice. A very limited continental breakfast is offered […] - strictly muffins, cereal, yogurt, bananas, juice and coffee. There is an IHOP across the street and a wide variety of other restaurants on the main road for those wanting a larger/non-carb breakfast. My only complaint is there is an ashtray stand right in front of the hotel entrance! Each time we entered or left the hotel, we had to walk around the smokers gathered at that ashtray on the narrow sidewalk. It was a social meeting spot for them but not fun for us to walk through a cloud of smoke! Hotel should consider moving it to the left corner of the hotel - at the end of the sidewalk on the Office Depot side. A very limited continental breakfast is offered - strictly muffins, cereal, yogurt, bananas, juice and coffee. We didn't use the pool, laundry or any other amenity. Read more

Customer Service and Price could not be better. The Queen beds were comfortable. The only reason I did not give 5 stars in all categories is that Microtel should advertise clearly that the food offered in the morning is continental at best. Maybe "Enjoy a quick fruit coffee and bagel before heading out to your destination." The walls of the room were very thin and allowed loud television noise to pour in till the wee hours of the morning. But worse was the intercourse noises late at night, and judging by the similarities of the woman's voice, I think she might have been a professional meeting clients there. Keep on Driving there are much better hotels, for less money that are cleaner and have staff that are not RUDE, Arrogant and Pompus! They advertise a room with 2 queen beds... when it is acutally a full size bed, a twin sofa sleeper and a small window ledge sleep area... not two Queens... The front staff was VERY rude when I asked for a second room […] because of them misrepresenting what we ordered as far as our room... The hotel was dirty in public areas towels hanging all over the fences around the pools, all over the sidewalk in the chairs etc... it looked worse than a bunch of kindergardeners being there... In fact it reminded me of being in the Ghetto and they hang their laundry from one building to the other... The hotel also had a STENCH of an ASHTRAY, there was food on the floor in the hallways, it was like no one really gave a crap about anything... Save your money go else where Read more
