The Bull Hotel

Had booked and paid for a suite, which had been double booked so I was put in a deluxe room. The room itself was lovely all nice and new, but the mattress on the bed was so soft that two people would be joined in the middle, we did not get any sleep !! only double size beds for most of the rooms and they have plenty of space for KIngs. We had the room […] we booked on the saturday night, which was fantastic, lovely room good size bed and a mattress that was a mattress. Duty Manager was good, but did not like reception girl telling me I had not booked a suite when I clearly had, and he confirmed it. ~Would only stay again if they could confirm and confirm the bed would be decent, shame the rest of the hotel was great. We decided at the last minute not to drive home from London to the Midlands and booked this hotel without our usual research. It is very good. An old coach house, sympathetically restored with large lounges, very good restaurant and comfortable rooms, we would return. Our only issue was the noise from a function in an outer building, opposite our bedroom, […] which went on till late, but in future we would ensure we asked for a room overlooking the gardens. Hotel had great reviews but......tv was not working , I called the front desk several times before somebody finally answered and came and fixed the problem. I had a poor night’s sleep as the bed was uncomfortable, heating/air con was noisy. Water pressure in the shower was low.

First stop at this hotel ~ business travel ~ limited time to enjoy facilities but the overall appearance and upkeep of the hotel was very good ~ cleanliness of room is very important to me and glad to say that there were no issues here at all ~ the key things for me were excellent clean sheets and bedding (always a must have) ~ bathroom cleanliness […] extremely good and well maintained bathroom facilities which is not always the case these days ~ wine glasses and tea / coffee facilities also spot on for cleanliness ~ wireless internet connection available within lounge and bar areas plus via cable in room (cable supplied by hotel reception foc) was also very good ~ there was an issue with the server during the two days I was there but reception sorted this out very quickly ~ so for business users who need to be connected this was overall a very good service ~ ate one evening in the bar area and had a good experience ~ food was hot and tasy (nachos grande) and beer also very good (Tetleys draft) ~ breakfast was also a good experience with self service cold and cooked food ~ enjoyed the fact that even though this was self service the standard of the food was also good i.e. quality of bacon extremely good and eggs freshly prep'd ~ definitely better than the average ~ would definitely return and also recommend to colleagues Read more

We could not fault our bedroom, contemporary, very clean and the en suite bathroom was sumptious. Dinner was very well presented (although would have liked it if the staff waited until we had finished before laying up tables around us for breakfast). Breakfast was good, but they need to invest in a toaster that toasts quicker. We stayed 2 nights and […] they seemed almost unprepared for the volume of people on the 2nd day - lots of waiting around for staff to refill platters. We experienced problems with lack of staff in the bar areas for ordering drinks and snacks during the day and evening. We were most unhappy when paying our bill on leaving to discover items on the bill that we had paid cash for at the time, although this was eventually sorted out it meant checking out took far longer than it should have. Vi var en familie på 5 personer der overnattede i et værelse. Der var fint med plads. Der var jacuzzi på badeværelset, hvilket var en stor succes. Vi blev positivt overraskede over den høje service i restauranten.

voor ons was dit de uitvalbasis voor de olympische spelen. het station was 1. km van het hotel prima te doen per voet en de route was langs winkels. mooi park voor het hotel zelf nog een hert gezien. en toch midden in een stadje.hotel was prima niets mee.

Meget fornøyd etter 5 dager med hele familien på The Bull. To voksne og tre barn i alderen 6-12 hadde et fantastisk opphold. Meget flott rom, stort bad, ekstra senger og med deilig engelsk frokost med noe for en hver smak. Et stykke å gå til Gerrards Cross togstasjon (ca 15 min), men utrolig fin spasertur over fine parker i et flott og landelig boligområde. […] Fin landsby med god restaurant. Toget tar ca 25 min og tar deg til Marelybone stasjon hvor du går rett på undergrunn og brun linje til Piccadelli og Oxford Circus m. fl. En 7 seter taxi til Heathrow koster kr. £50. En 5 seter koster £35. Anbefaler ikke Gatwick når en skal bo her nord vest for London. Det blir et stykke å kjøre med tog/taxi. Read more
