Lovely hotel. Great service, Great food. helpful staff. Not that easy to find and quite a distance from the city so make sure you book a transfer through the hotel in advance from the airport.

Really enjoyed doing nothing for four days apart from sit by the pool, read and soak up the amazing back drop of the Atlas range. The hotel is very far from the city Marakash, this means it is very isolated and its location off the main road on 1/2 a mile of rough road is offputing. The hotel is off the main road about a mile down a dirt track like many moroccan hotels. It has a great approach and beautiful gardens and the rear swimming pool overlooks the mountains so the view is fantastic. An amazing hotel with fantastic views, but set 30km away from the City Centre and about 2km from anything. No shops, no bars, nothing. The rooms and the pool are excellent. The hotel is generally quite quiet and in fact there were just two/three families there the whole time we were there. If you want a nightlife this is NOT the place. But if you want […] a quiet getaway in the sun it is perfect. Breakfast is simlpe but filling. Menu for lunch snacks thats is the same each day but evening meal is set for everyone. Given the location there is nowhere else to eat nearby, so recommend booking half-board. The hotel doesn't sell crisps etc, just meals at set times. Food at the hotel for lunch is a bit basic, but is ok if a little pricey, but no more than you would expect given location. Evening meal is varied, if you don't like it you will be stuck as there are no alternative. Drinks are at hotel prices, so not cheap, but in fairness not seriously overpriced. Keep a note of what you buy as you don't settle up until the last morning and I still don't know how they manage to keep track. Hotel can organise transfers etc and run a daily trip to Marrakech at 9-30 returning at 18-00. Didn't try getting a taxi back there ourselves but could imagine that many taxis would not be interested in the fare. It is a long way from the town. Hotel staff really friendly but speak very little English. We speak no French but managed to get by. A nice find, not to everyone's taste. Read more

Great hotel, the staff made us feel very welcome and were very helpful. I loved the typical Morrocan syle of the hotel and the landscape surrounding the hotel was beautiful with great views of the mountains. The only thing I would stress is the location is a bit of a hassle when getting to and from the centre of marrakech.

Please, please, please do not stay here if what you want is a busy, loud, entretainment packed hotel close to the centre of Maarakech. You're complaints and whining to other visitors may spoil their lovely relaxing, quiet, calm break! We stayed for a week in August and loved it. It was beautifull, quiet and relaxing. The staff were freindly, helpfull […] and had a great sense of humour. The owner made us feel like part of a family rather than tourists, the food was gorgeous but the choise was limied (I would strongly recommend half board as there are NO other local places to eat). The price of lunch and drinks was very similar to that in the centre of Marrakech but the quality was much higher. The daily free shuttle sevice is excellent but returning at 6.30 would mean missing the evening fun in Marrakech. The hotel can organise taxis for you (including to and from the airport) which I would strongly recommend as all our other ones ended in disaster and getting lost! We deicided to break the week up with one night in another hotel in central Marrakech - this worked well. The shuttle dropped us off at 9.30 one morning and picked us up at 6.30 the day after - this was plenty long enough in the bussle and heat. Book it and enjoy peace and quiet!! Read more

El personal de servicio es excelente, muy atento. La ubicación es un gran problema, ya que a pesar de que desde el hotel te facilitan taxi gratuito de ida y vuelta hasta/desde el centro de la ciudad, debes ir en las horas que determinan ellos. Si quieres ir a otra hora debes pagar el taxi (20 € ida + 20 € vuelta). Se tardan unos 35 min en llegar al […] centro. Wi-fi deficiente y TV sin satélite a pesar de que se especifica que sí que disponen. Yo contraté a un taxi personalmente que me transportaba por 15 € y en el Hotel le ponían pegas para aparcar delante de la puerta por no ser "su" taxi (los taxistas que te facilita el hotel pagan una comisión al hotel por el servicio). Comer o cenar en el hotel tiene una relación calidad-precio nefasta: 18 € el menú en un país donde el sueldo "normal" es de 350 €/mes. La cantidad de comida, raquítica, incluso mi niña de 6 años se quedaba con hambre! En resumen, solo daría una nota alta al servicio. Gente joven y muy maja. Read more

There is nothing more then beds and cupboards in the room. When I asked for the hairdryer, they said it was not in the hotel and it took 2 days to arrive. So, for me this Hotel can not be classified as a 4 stars Hotel. We expected lots more from this classification. Kasbah Caracalla is a very niceplace for who are looking for a clean, beautiful pension with a good price. About the shutle service offered, disappointing. They send a small car to pick the guests up. Everybody who fits go inside, maybe 5 adults and 2 kids ?! If there are more guests after a while they call for a Taxi. Anyway we had fun in Marrakesh. L'hôtel est à 30 km de Marrakech, en pleine campagne, un aller-retour gratuit est proposé tous les jours. L'équipe est jeune et mal formée, ce n'est pas leur métier. Ils parlent entre eux en arabe devant les clients, ce qui est plutôt désagréable. L'hôtel est vraiment très éloigné de Marrakech, la navette n'est en réalité qu'un gentil chauffeur qui nous dépose vers 10h et ne nous récupère qu'à 18h30. Ce peut être très long! Une navette de plus s'impose! Le service hammam est bien, quand on peut en profiter ( fille absente ou partie à 16h, cf horaires navette...) Le petit déj est TOUJOURS le même, […] pain, beurre confiture d'abricots crêpes...Au bout de 3 jours c'est bon! Et les prix sont excessifs pour tout repas ou consommation puisqu'il ne propose pas de demi-pension et la fameuse navette... Mais, tout, absolument tout est IMPECCABLE, le perso très gentil, sincèrement, qui cherche à nous connaître et aux petits soins, compétent, on y est en sécurité et serein. La Kasbah Caracalla est en fait le bon compromis pour passer un séjour à Marrakech, la distance de 27 kms de la Médina est plutôt un atout, on retrouve le calme après une journée dans Marrakech , on est au milieu de nulle part, dépaysement assuré et pourtant il ne faut que 20 à 30 minutes pour rejoindre la ville, de plus Kader le patron propose sa navette […] gratuite avec Abdel depuis son Hôtel et il s'accommode assez facilement à vos horaires, en plus il y a Aziz le taxi partenaire, il est charmant . Kader et son personnel sont à vos petits soins, sans pour autant vous oppresser, savamment dosés, et Kader n'est jamais avare de renseignements et de conseils pour réussir votre séjour. Le Palais d'Hôtes porte bien son nom, c'est un cadre idyllique, belles chambres et suites, le bâtiment est majestueux, la piscine magnifique avec une vue époustouflante sur l'Atlas La cuisine est typique et familiale marocaine avec des prix très corrects, le Hamann et les massages gérés par Mounia font un bien fou. Non il ne faut pas hésiter et pourtant j'aurais tendance à cacher cette adresse pour me l'approprier tellement on se sent chez soi. Sehr schönes und ruhiges Hotel. Das Personal war sehr bemüht. Zimmer sind sehr geräumig, sauber und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Leider liegt das Hotel 30 km von Marrakesch entfernt und die Preise für Ausflüge, Spa und Essen sind etwas teuer.
