The Peninsula Hotel - Vale

This is the second time here this year. The hotel is about 20 minutes real time from anywhere you really need to go, Airport, St Peter Port etc. Check in is fast and efficient, rooms are of a good size, well equipped and clean. Food is plentiful and a 5 course meal costs just £18.00. Food quality is excellent. Nice beach opposite hotel, pitch and put there, playground for kids, outdoot pool etc. Well worth the money. The hotel does appear to cater for the 'older' generation (Saga Louts) but for me that's no issue on a business trip. I hear they are having some renovation work done in Jan/Feb so can't wait to be back in the new year. Read more

Consistently great, lovely accomodation, great staff and stunning location, and within a budget that makes it an affordable and efficient place to stay when I am working in Guernsey...look forward to next time!

the location of the peninsula is first rate, and you are made to feel welcome from the minute you enter. The staff at this hotel are some of the best I have encountered Nothing was too much trouble, and they "smiled". The room was clean and comfortable.The food was very good, and service in general was first class. I would visit again.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and clean, but because it was hot, we had to have the window open at night which meant the noise from the function room kept us awake at times. The food was very good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool, if anything was slightly too warm for us, but was very welcome after walking […] around the stunning coastline. Free towels from Reception and no difficulty from getting a sunbed! There was a good bus service which stopped near to the hotel which meant travelling to any part of the Island was cheap and easy. It was just an over night stay so we stayed in the hotel room only the hotel in general looked very clean and tidy as was our room. We ordered room service which arrived quickly and promptly and ordered breakfast in our room which again arrived quickly and at the time specified. It was fine, a bit dated and the ensuite smelt due to the use of a shower curtain - why do hotels do this? The breakfast was fantastic, a wide choice and plenty of it. The evening meal was dissapointing but we found this generally where ever we ate bar one other hotel. There was a mix up over bike hire due to language barriers and this was a common […] theme. First time in Guernsey. Hotel is on a fantastic location with beaches very close. Staff are incredibly friendly. Has pitch and putt, but to be fair it is more pitch and pitch as the putting green is non existent. Good variety at breakfast. tres bon accueil du personnel de l'hotel. A l'arrivee, le lit bebe est deja installé, et la chaise bebe nous attend au petit dejeuner. cuisine originale et bonne pour des francais. piscine chauffée exterieure a disposition. Seul probleme, il faut avoir une voiture car c'est au milieu de nulle part.

een wat qua inrichting verouderd hotel,speciaal geschikt voor de wat ouderen. Een heerlijk warm openlucht zwembad. Het eten was goed en de bediening vlot en zeer vriendelijk. Een prima plek om een mooie zonsondergang te zien .
