"BLAST FROM THE PAST."
When I booked this bed & breakfast, my husband wasn't to happy, stay in someone's house? But from our arrive to the end of our stay, he was glad I found this charming, friendly place. Sheila and her mother made us feel very welcomed. A place to stay and go back in time, we did.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"B&B with Clean, Friendly Atmosphere"
I highly recommend Summer Nites B&B! Very friendly owners. The 50's theme of this place was interesting. They even had a little diner where guests eat breakfast every morning. And there was a jukebox at each table to select songs (mostly 50's songs of course) that would play in the diner. Breakfast was great, btw! You have a choice of two menu items, […] which change each day.. Plenty of food - I could not finish my breakfast. This place is clean/well kept as well! The owner has a great personality and seems to genuinely enjoy what she does. Overall, great experience...would definitely stay again! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Fifty's fun and beyond! Wake up to breakfast in the blast from the past diner complete with juke box and quarters. Lovely accomodations, creatively decorated with pieces of memorabilia from the bygone days. The Elvis suite is fit for "The King" and any of his biggest fans. The B&B had a period 50's - 80's theme. The innkeepers, Sheila an Rick were fabulous, The breakfast cook "Mom" was sensational. Every detail regarding the room themes were completely thought out. The rooms were immpecably clean. The location is walking distance to the Boardwalk and Beach and comedy club. We had a fantastic time and would visit Norh […] Wildwood in the future. Lovely place. Sheila, the owner is great, the rooms are adorable and the breakfast was fantastic. Pleasantly surprised to find out they served a pretzel and a milkshake or ice cream soda after I arrived at 4:00 on Friday. Well, I considered booking a Cape May Bed and Breakfast, but I was intrigued about the North Wildwood location and the interesting themed rooms. When I arrived at Summer Nites, I could not believe how much more greatness there was to it. The staff makes you feel at home and there are too many extra amenities to list. So we went there for some rest and relaxation and that's what we got. THe rooms are whimiscal and amazing. Sheila and Rick have done an amazing job. Mama (sheila's mom) does the cooking and man...do we get fed well. We had a blast and can't wait to go back again...with my parents this time. Seriously though, every time Sheila asked us what we were doing, […] it was my husband who was going to take a nap....but that's why we went. It's a short 2 blk walk to the boardward and an 8 mile drive to Historic cape may....We can't wait to go back. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

The B&B exceeded our expectations. They achieved the 50's theme to the minutest detail. The owners, Sheila and Rick and Sheila's mom, who did the cooking on Sunday morning were more than gracious. We can not wait to return and we will.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Summer Nites-A Must See"
The Summer Nites is not just a great B&B, it is a great experience. The owners have an amazing collection of movie and music memorabilia from the 50's and 60's. The rooms are decorated with themes and are clean and well appointed. You cannot go wrong here.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Absolutely (and surprisingly) wonderful B&B"
Booked two nights at Summer Nites after unsuccessfully trying to find a room in Stone Harbor for a wedding we were attending - wasn't sure what to expect, but my girlfriend and I fell in love with the place and spent the whole time braggin to folks at the reception about our awesome B&B. The 50s kitsch is really well done and feels fun rather than too […] cheesy. Breakfast was out of this world (best french toast ever). Rooms are very clean (and pretty cool too), beds are extremely comfortable. Best part was the amazing & charming owner (rocking a poodle skirt and harley davidson t-shirt). Also rootbeer floats & milkshakes every day at 4:00 in the diner themed kitchen. And walking distance to the beach! Had never been to wildwood or this part of jersey before - will go back just to stay here again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This was an awesome bed and breakfast. The 50’s theme is neat and they have the place decorated very nice with working antiques etc. The host, Sheila, was very polite, professional and knowledgeable about the area and things to do. The B&B was only a short walk to the boardwalk. The entire facility was spotless clean and in tip top shape. We were there […] for only one night, but wished we could stay longer. We intend on planning a trip there in the future. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The place is the 50s come alive, with your host Sheila as maser or ceremonies. There is nothing she will not do to make the visit comfortable, and her mother, Lana, cooks a wonderful breakfast. Our room, booked late and for one night, was tiny. But you go to this place for the experience, not necessarily for comfort.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
What a great place to stay. The owner is hands on and takes pride in the facility. Great breakfast- this has to be one of the best places to stay In Wildwood. The room was large with a huge whirlpool . Soft bath robes, snacks at night and the ten cents coke was a blast. Truly a must stay for the money.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

There is NOTHING like this in the whole Jersey Shore. IMMACULATE! And so much fun. Not your typical victorian B&B. Fresh, fun, hip! The 60's suite is amazing. Just like stepping back into the 60's. My friends went down with us and stayed in the beach room with the cute chair and umbrella and loved every single thing about it. And if you love Elvis, well check out the gold couches! The King lives forever in that suite. Every suite/room is amazing. So much detail. And the diner where you eat the most fabulous breakfast ever is stunning. The booths, the juke box, the room! I will compare every B&B to this place and I know they will all fall short. Great job Sheila! Can't wait to go back!

Although we were teenagers in the fifties and love the music of our youth, we tend to go for the Victorian Bed and Breakfast experience. When we realized our favorite Cape May Places were booked, we found some outstanding trip advisor reviews for Summer Nites. We had our doubts about giving up the Victorian ambience, but we decided to give it a try. By the end of our 3 day stay, we were totally in awe of this place. The theme rooms are really fun. The recreated Fifties diner, was amazing. The breakfasts were the best we have every had anywhere, thanks to grandma Sandy. ( Don't plan to eat again 'til dinner!). Go on indulge in root beer floats or milkshakes and hot pretzels at 4 P.M. You are only young once!! Place is immaculate. When you leave at the end of the trip, it's like saying goodbye to family.. Sheila, had a vision and her love of what she has created is apparent . Sheila and her mom Sandy are talented, caring, and fun to be with. Yes "you can go home again" and we can't wait to return! "What an incredible find!"

As anyone who has read any of my reviews knows, I am a particularly picky individual. I travel quite extensively and almost exclusively stay in b&bs because of their many personalized touches. What I have found throughout my years has been that what makes a bed & breakfast special are the people who run it -- their warmth, hospitality and attention to every detail. In the case of Summer Nites you receive the best of all three and then some. Sheila, the proprietor and her Mom, cook with a great ear for listening, are beyond compare. Because of our wonderful experience, our stay became four nights instead of three. Yes, it was that great of an experience! On this occasion we were celebrating my birthday and when we arrived Sheila had set up a tray with chocolate covered strawberries, a bottle of wine and a bouquet of flowers (all pro gratis). Sheila is an amazing, bubbly, vivacious woman with a heart of gold. She is someone who truly enjoys her business and it shows in every single detail of Summer Nites. We stayed in the Elvis Suite on the ground floor, which has a separate entrance and a profusion of beautiful flowers outside of every window. The suite is thematic, including such touches as a working slot machine, complete with tokens (for fun, not profit!) The space was immaculate, the fridge stocked with bottled water. And, if Coke is more your thing, there is a machine that for a dime gives you an old fashioned bottle. Sheila provides the dimes. The suite was decorated in black and gold with everything Elvis you could imagine, and then some. There was even a musical lamp that played "You ain't nothing but a houndog" and a Jailhouse Rock shower curtain, Elvis glasses, a framed picture with a lock of Elvis' hair -- get the picture? There was an enormous black enameled jacuzzi tub big enough for more than two which was illuminated with blue lighting. Did I mention the king size beds with sheets that made you never want to leave it. A gas fireplace for cozy ambiance...... There was game room between us and the sixties suite in which you could play old fashioned pinball games and table top bowling. There is a pool table upstairs and an old fashioned black and white tv. We checked out all the other rooms while we were ther and they are all thematic, from beach party to swinging sixties to the 70's of Saturday Night Fever. But the main theme is the rocking fifties and early sixties when Elvis was king -- which is also what Wildwood personifies. As to the breakfast..in addition to the jukebox and Sheila in a poodle skirt, you get choices -- starting with a medley of fresh fruit, you can get an entree that could be strawberries and cream waffles or spinach and feta cheese omelet...and if you are a vegetarian, as we are, there is even veggie sausage and bacon. Mom is not adverse to making something special like a single well done sunny side up egg...We Love You Guys!! I can't say enough good things about this place that comes to feel like a home away from home. I love Summer Nites and if you are lucky enough to get there, you will too!!!

I love this place. Sheila and Ma are the best. I will always come to this place whenever I visit Wildwood.. You guys are adopted as my extended family.. Shiela you are very knowledgable about the area and the fun things that there are to do. Nightlife for us was a must and the place you reccomended was right up our ally. There was always something to do in the house. Breakfast was amazzzzzing and the 4pm snacks. Very accomodating, even went out and goit us Turkey bacon because I dont eat pork. We miss you guys already. This is our first review on Trip Advirsor and any other review site... Summer nites is welll worth every positive review.. I'm a believer...
"A blast from the past...like nowhere I've ever been."

An upbeat environment with totally unique rooms. You can hang out with a dvd from a huge collection, play pinball or the bowling machines from the past or shoot pool. Relax in the hot tub or walk to the boardwalk. Sheila your wonderful, welcoming hostess means it when she say B&BREAFAST ....you'll dine a setting of a different era and while you feast on Mom's awesome cooking take some quarters and play your jukebox. Once you can move again after your morning feast she will point you in lots of directions and give you great advice for what to go and what to do. Come back at 4 PM if you're so inclined and indulge in a Rootbeer Float, milkshake, soft pretzel... you decide. Check out the webpage and get a feel for the place... then dial her up and make your reservation! I've stayed many times and can't think of a complaint. The house has been restored to perfection and I can't think of a cleaner room I've stayed in. Just go! And tell her Liz and Jeff said hi and see you soon!

From someone who does not usually care for B & B's - great fun, unbelievable warmth and hospitality. This is more than a bsuiness for the owners - it is a passion. Only 2 blocks from the beach and the boardwalk. Every amenity has been considered to make sure you are comfortable and happy.

My husband & I went to Summer Nites for our 4th Anniversary. We were surprised that when we arrived to our room there were Chocolate covered strawberries, a bottle of wine & roses awaiting us. What a wonderful surpirise! Thank you Sheila & family. We stayed in the 60's room which was very great. We loved all of the little details in the room. The bed was very comfortable & the painted murals were beautiful. This B&B is great & the hosts were very nice & personable. They serve a large breakfast & at 4:00pm serve snacks- milk shakes, root beer floats & soft pretzels. There is an old coke machine that cost 10 cents a bottle & Sheila supplies the dimes in a box on top of the machine. They have a game room with shuffle bowl & pin ball, outdoor hot tub, fifty's inspired diner to eat your breakfast & snacks in & Sheila supplies quarters for you to play the juke box. We had a great time & hope to definitely go back again.

I recently stayed for three nights at Summer Nites during a trip to Wildwood to see an oldies show at the Convention Center. How charming! The owners Sheila and Rick have really gone to great lengths to capture the nostalgia of the era. It was such a fun place to stay! I don't typically stay in a bed and breakfast but Summer Nites was so nice I would definitely return. My room (the Marilyn room) was immaculate and very comfortable. My sister had the 50s Music Room and my friend stayed in the 50s TV Room. We were all delighted with our accommodations. We especially enjoyed the hearty breakfasts, served in the diner-style dining room complete with a juke box on every table. An afternoon treat is also served (warm soft pretzels with root beer floats and milk shakes). There are so many charming touches throughout. As someone who has stayed in some really nice hotels and is kind of picky (especially about cleanliness), I can honestly say I loved staying at Summer Nites! Thank you!
"Fabulous Fifties Weekend"
10/16/12 William D home
Have been coming to Wildwood for the Fifties weekend for five years now and have always stayed at Summer Nites. Sheila and her husband Rick are perfect hosts willing to give or help in anyway to make one's stay truly memorable. I have never stayed in the upstairs rooms though they seem charming. The lower suites, while more costly, are larger and have the advantage of their own private entrances. Milkshakes or root beer floats with warm pretzels at 4:00 every day are filling and fun while the full breakfast every morning includes home made breads differing daily as well as fresh fruit and juice along with eggs, bacon or sausage. Happy to see "mom" is recovering nicely from a recent illness and will soon return. Some may feel it's pricey but it's truly worth every penny. Thanks Sheila, Rick and Sandy.
"Once in a Lifetime experience"
Where do I begin... We arrived on Saturday of Irish weekend, excited to just get away for a couple of days. When I pulled up I was so shocked and surprised at how beautiful and clean Sheila's home was. We walked up the front steps and couldn't wait to sit on the large rocking chairs on the porch. We were greeted by Sheila, the owner who couldn't have been any friendlier. We were given the tour of the main level and my mouth grew wider and wider with each step. The first thing I noticed were the lips couch with a mural behind of the Old Wildwood Days. Across from it was a working juke box filled with many memories. Next I saw a pool table that I was anxious to play with my fiance. Into the next room which was a living room with another mural of the Wildwood Boardwalk. The mantle was filled with all movies and show's of many years ago. Much to my surprise was an old black and white TV that actually worked. Then into the one of the greatest dining rooms I've ever seen. We walked into the kitchen that had the days newspapers on the counter for you to take into the dining room. I swore I stepped back in time when I entered this room. It was a 50's diner with all the decor you could imagine, including the main juke box with individual ones at each table. Oh yes, and the quarters are on the table for you to play. Sheila invited us to return at 4:00pm where she serves your choice of a milkshake or a root beer float along with a large soft pretzel. Breakfast is serve daily either at 8:30am or 10:00am with your choice of two entrees, juices, coffee or fresh brewed tea, and fresh baked mini loaves of bread. Each breakfast is started with the freshest fruit served in an ice cream dish. Such a generous serving size. The first morning we had waffles with bacon (sausage was another option), orange juice, tea and coffee, fresh carrot cake bread. The next morning we had a ham and cheese omelet with bacon, fruit, coffee & tea and delicious blueberry bread. Now onto our room. While we were taken to our room we were shown the other amenities. First stop the old fashioned Coke Machine with dimes supplied to provide you a cool refreshment. Next stop the game room where you find 3 pinball machines, a treadmill and a shuffle board bowling game. Adorn on the walls are autographed pictures and a Marilyn Monroe neon light fixture. We stayed in the Life's a Beach room located downstairs off the main floor. When the door was opened I was so impressed. Beautiful murals adorn the walls along with a giant jacuzzi tub. We even had our beach chair with an umbrella, lol. We were also lucky enough to have our own entrance. Each room is impeccably clean and the attention to detail is amazing. We were fortunate enough to tour the rooms and each of the other rooms are just as special as ours. On our floor was the 60's, 70's room along with the biggest suite they offer. The Elvis Suite is all that you could imagine. Each one of the rooms have beautiful hand painted murals and all the decor to take you back to each era. On the third floor, were four more rooms, 50's music, 50's TV, 50's movies along with the Marilyn Monroe room. During your stay they take your picture on the lips couch and as you depart they give you a souvenir photo in a folder noting the month and year you were there. Such a great touch. I would recommend that you take the time to get away and visit this one of a kind B&B. It's the absolute greatest place I've stayed. Cannot wait to return and we're already planning to return in December.
