when we booked this hotel, we did not realize it was more than a hotel; it is a resort. Consequently all the rooms are spacious with many amenities. The only thing they do not supply, weirdly enough, is shampoo and conditioner. The smallest room is a studio with a kitchen. The do-it-yourself laundry is complimentary. If you want clean sheets/towels you have to exchange them at the desk. there is no maid service like in other hotels. This was all fine with us. A very quiet place with movie nights. Unfortunately, wifi/internet is NOT complimentary. Canmore is close enough to Banff/Lake Louise to make the stay here worthwhile. There are also hiking trails nearby the hotel. We enjoyed ours stay there and would stay there again.

We first visited this Worldmark timeshare in 2007 and were pleased with our stay at that time. The room was a bit on the smaller side, but so were our children and most of our time was spent outdoors as well. This stay we really saw how much renovation was done in the rooms with the infusion of Wyndham funds. Our room this time was a full one bedroom suite with nice, updated furniture and appliances. The water pressure in the shower was on the lower side, but the bathroom was spacious. As previously mentioned, no shampoo/conditioner or lotion, but soap is included. Everything worked well in the kitchen area. I'm not too familiar with using the electric stoves with the covers on top, but every morning I found myself scrubbing off the marks left by the frying pan (which had seen better days). Maybe it’s time to replace some of the older pans if the bottoms are burned. The hotel amenities were about the same with complementary coffee and tea in the lobby. If we have one request, it would be to have lids available for the complementary coffee and tea. Wifi wasn't free, but reasonable at about $5/night and $16 for 10 nights; you set-up your own account with a sub contractor who handles this service. Also, that rate applies only to two devices on the net at a time, more devices cost more $$. We had a 4 night stay, so just paid the $16 rate. The wifi signal was strong and we didn't have any problems using this service. The guest computers in the lobby were usually busy, however the guests were courteous and made sure no one was monopolizing the computers at any time. The front desk staff were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful if not overwhelmed with check ins, phone calls, and a leaking coffee machine at the same time. There was only one staff on duty at our check in and Sean did a great job! We didn't use the bbq's or pool, but both were being used frequently by other guests. We did use the free laundry and didn't have any problems. We had a very enjoyable stay at this property and will make an effort to stay again before another 7 years pass us by. Also, the surrounding area is one of the most beautiful we have seen during our travels.
"Wish We Could Have Stayed Longer"

We spend our honeymoon at this hotel. We're so glad we stayed in Canmore and not Banff! Don't get me wrong, Banff was a ton of fun. But Canmore is far less "touristy". The restaurants are less crowded and there are fewer people on the trails in the area. But back to the hotel...we booked through RCI and were pleased with the accommodations. We had a small kitchen, living room and separate bedroom suite. We were grateful for the kitchen and used it often. The hotel also has several grills that guests can use. The staff knows they are catering to outdoorsy people. There are a couple of laundry rooms (which are always in use). There isn't free wifi which was a huge bummer for us. We really wanted to upload our photos and share our travels. We had to go to a coffee shop to access the web. We used the pool a few times and enjoyed the indoor and outdoor hottubs. There are a lot of families that stay at this hotel and use the pool area, and if you're on your honeymoon it's not the most ideal. The hotel is about 20 minutes away from Banff. So if you want to do a lot of activities in Banff, Lake Louise or the Icefield Parkway you will be doing A LOT of driving. But for us it was worth it. The hotel staff was very knowledgeable about the area and suggested several local trails that we wouldn't have considered otherwise. We were pleasantly surprised with all that Canmore had to offer and would recommend this area to others.

Beautiful location and accommodations! Suite was well designed and very comfortable ! The location is close to banff, lake Louise and within driving distance to Jasper as well! The town of canmore is very close for shopping. Staff at worldmark is very helpful and friendly. The scenery in banff and jasper is absolutely spectacular!

First time visit to the province of Alberta, loved it. Canada is beautiful but the Rockies are the best, breathtaking and every photo is like a postcard. Lots of wildlife, good hiking and nice people. Loved the Royal Tyrrell dinosaur museum in Drumheller. We booked this condo exchange through RCI. Worldmark has excellent rooms which at first seemed small but soon you realize they are sufficient and you won't spend that much time in them. Service is first rate, everyone genuinely pleasant. Restaurants were expensive but Patrino's Steak House was a good value compared to other places we went during a one week say.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a 1 BR hotel room. The room was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly. It was very close to Safeway where we did most of our purchase. Banff national park was only 20mins away and Lake Louise 1 hr away. Convenient to get to the highway. The room did not have a stove or conventional oven which was a bummer. But for next time we know not to book a hotel room. We are already thinking of coming back here again

Excellent property. Superb location. The 1 bedroom apartments are fully equipped. The swimming pool is fully heated and even the hot tube. Perfect place for families must stay if staying at canmore. Banff is 25 mins away and lake luis 1.30 hours. Ideal location.
really nice place to stay, like our second home, clean, comfortable, away from any noise, it has everything you need in the room, nice view, the garden with the grills, everything is good, at that hotel, maybe not close from downtown but also a really nice hike

We found this place on the advice of the local Visitor Information Center. Located up in the hills south of Canmore, the Worldmark is a true gem. Convenient to town. VERY affordable (at least when we were there at the end of May), clean and friendly. Why stay at a chain location when for a lower price you can have a lodge-like setting? The Worldmark has it all -- except a restaurant.... but you can find plenty of those 5 minutes away in town.

We had an amazing stay at the Worldmark in Canmore. The resort is beautiful and well located only a few minutes from downtown. We had a 1 bedroom apt, which had a king size bed in the separate bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa (you have to sleep sideways). The hot tub was a perfect size and the temperature was perfect. There is also an indoor hot tub and sauna. This is not an inside/outside pool. The inside component is only a place where you can go down the stairs and get into the water before swimming outside. The temperature was a bit on the cool side but the size of the pool was great. The only complaint we had was the listing said the room came with toiletries but there was no shampoo or conditioner. We had to make a special grocery trip to buy some and when we complained they just said that none of the rooms come with that. oh well. Also the price we paid was the Canadian listed price plus US exchange so it was more expensive than we thought.
