There is no reason to stay here unless you trying to save money for Oktoberfest, which we were. It was fantastic. Free internet in the room, which was huge and clean, excellent service, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. Literally took us no more than a half hour to get to Oktoberfest even though this place is a ways out of town. For the comfort and value, I would highly recommend this place. Excellent hearty breakfast too!

With the trail through the forest starting from the patio dining area and stunning views of the alps it was the perfect place to start our vacation. The staff were very friendly and the food fabulous. The price very reasonable.

Everything was great about the hotel. The clerk spoke English very well and explained everything very clearly. The hotel is a little dated and when people walked around in adjacent rooms it sounded as if they were in my room. The only thing I didn't like was the shower setup. It was quite odd, hard to explain, but I managed to flood the entire bathroom because the shower doors didn't lock or block all the water. Overall the hotel is great and would recommend staying there. Unfortunately, time didn't permit me going to the water park portion of the hotel which I understand is great.

Alps as their pictures and website would have you believe. That aside, the staff was outstanding and the food reasonably priced. This hotel is OK. It is no earthly paradise (as some other reviewers seem to think), but it is (typically German) clean, comfortable and in a reasonable (but not A1) location in this beautiful but quiet area. Nothing wrong with it at all, but after my stay I did wonder about some of the really gushing reviews.

We cannot praise this hotel enough, after a fantastic stay. The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk from the railway station, so although we had a hire car, we could easily have managed without. There are beautiful views, a lake to walk or cycle around and even a cable car to take visitors up into the mountains. We had one of the apartments, […] which suited our needs very well. The rooms were spotlessly clean and we had everything that we required. The hotel has a beautiful spa and pool - just the place to relax at the end of a long day sightseeing. We also made good use of the games room, which included two bowling lanes. Food is excellent and good value, whilst the bar is staffed by one of the friendliest and most helpful bartenders we have ever encountered. He mixes a mean Margarita too! Whilst the setting is wonderful, the hotel comfortable and well-equipped, the thing that makes this place really stand out is the quality of care that we received from the staff. Everyone made us feel very welcome and little touches, such as the delivery of the daily 'Morning Post' with information about what was happening, the weather forecast and the cocktail of the day helped us to plan our stay. The Receptionists are the best we have ever encountered; they all spoke excellent English and genuinely seemed to care about our needs. We were very sad indeed to leave and our only wish is that we could have had longer at this very special hotel. We will be rebooking again soon! Read more

Großer Komplex mit vielen einzelnen Apartments/Bungalows. Eher 3 Sterne (70er Jahre Bau) Für Geschwisterkinder ab 10 Jahre ist die Schlafcouch zu klein. Im Winter waren die Fenster/ Eingangstür zügig. Aber 2 Elektroheizer standen bereit. Im Sommer wohl optimal für Familien mit kleineren Kindern. Schönes Gelände zum rumsausen... Wellnessbereich ist sehr […] schön und sauber (neu gemacht). Wir waren Selbstversorger bzw. auf der Piste und können die Ganstronomie nicht beurteilen. Schliersee ist ein toller Ort. Der See ist in 10 Minuten per Fußweg zu erreichen. Wir werden wieder kommen, allerdings mit anderer Zimmerwahl, da sonst die Kinder unausgeschlafen sind... Read more

Hotel liegt sehr ruhig in einer Seitenstraße und trotzdem ist zu Fuß alles in kurzer Zeit zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet (wir hatten ein Standartzimmer). Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr gut im Restaurant, vor allem Freunde der indischen bzw. thailänischen Küche kommen voll auf […] ihre Kosten. Natürlich waren auch bayrische Spezialitäten zu bekommen. Die Bar ist urgemütlich und bietet an Cocktails und Speisen eine gute Auswahl. Der Pool ist nicht sehr tief, man kann überall stehen, aber sehr schön angelegt und ein Whirlpool und ein Solarium stehen auch zur Verfügung. Super-schönes Hotel mit allem Komfort. Sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal. Schöner Blick auf die Bergkulisse und unmittelbare Nähe zu zahlreichen Wanderwegen. Das alter sieht man vor allem im Bad, dafür die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitsschaft des Personals machen die vergilbten Waschbecken wett. Das Luxzimmer war für Familie mit Baby ideal. Auf Wunsch wurde der Wasserkocher bereitgestellt. Das Kindbett fand den Weg ins Zimmer ohne Aufforderung. Auch die Austtattung mit Mikrowelle und Kühlschrank war für […] Fläschchen und Gläschen ideal. Das Hotel wäre für Winter zu empfehlen wenn nicht die Entfernung zum Bus ins Skigebiet so groß wäre. Dieses Hotel ist einfach perfekt. Besonders die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Auch die gute Küche und die netten Bedienungen sind hervorzuheben! Wir waren dort für eine Geburtstagsfeier und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Wir kommen wieder!

Vårt familjerum hade man tyvärr givit bort till en annan gäst, men man löste det genom att ge oss två dubbelrum istället. Personalen var mycket tillmötesgående och hjälpsam. Den egna restaurangen höll bra priser och serverade god mat. Ett plus för barnen var Poolen som ligger i sutteräng inomhus, skönt att plaska omkring lite efter en dag i bilen. wir waren sehr zufrieden trotz des schlechten Wetters. Unsere Kinder (12 u. 10 Jahre) genossen vor allem den schönen Indoorpool, die Kegelbahn, den Tischkicker und den Billardtisch. Unser Appartement war sehr groß (2-Zimmer) und auch die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Unser Fazit: Wir kommen gerne wieder
