My family of 5 arrived at 2AM. They have no porter, so I had to hump al 3 cases/5 bags onto a trolley and then were told we had to find our own way to the room. Not a very inspiring welcome for exhausted travelers - first impressions are everything. The rooms are great, with everything you might need. The staff were really friendly and professional, […] there were 1 or 2 rude/grumpy ones - but easily compensated by the good ones. The spa staff certainly need some lessons in friendly customer communication. On the occasions when we needed help with – sticking door, boy locking the safe, internet query, technicians arrived swiftly and professionally. Internet availability was cheap, but annoyingly patchy, I was having to re-log in multiple times over each day. Food was overall very good. A bit bland for our tastes – by necessity to appeal across cultures – and so by week 2 we were going out to local restaurants. But it was plentiful, fresh and varied. The outdoor barbecues were excellent and the probable cause of the 5 kilos weight I put on over 2 weeks. The hotel itself needs investment. A lick of paint and TCL would not be amiss - it lacks any personality. I think if they engaged a decent designer the interior space could easily be transformed - nothing too radical, some colour, different artwork, lots of indoor plants - voila. Overall, my family really enjoyed our stay here, the more negative comments above do not reflect our overall experience. Read more

The Hotel is new, however, the room we booked was extremely small and with one window. It felt a bit suffocating. With the rest we were very pleased, we used the sauna, steam bath, spa - it was great! Breakfast was nice. Only in the evening, there was nothing at the hotel, very low lights and seem a bit dull. Generally good.

Satisfied with my second visit. But second time / April and now, December / indoor swimming pool not heated well, nor the areas with the indoor facilities, where guests are walking only by swimwear.

Ideal hotel for a family up to 6 persons in one suite. The only problem is the noise inside the hotel from the guests. There are no carpets at all so the noise is a disturb factor of a vacation trip.

Stayed in seaview suit One bedroom Two bathrooms Lounge Balcony Fantastic hotel would highly recommend out of the five hotels I've stayed in paphos this is by far the highest standard. Hotel located 2km from centre of Paphos. Room very comfortable. The breakfast will last you all day, no need for lunch. The one time we ate the evening meal it was excellent, but mostly we preferred to walk to one of the local restaurants, of which there are dozens within 15 minutes walk. Bonus is they not only have BBC and ITV but Sky, including Sky […] Sports. Lovely pool area and generally a pretty good place to stay. Read more

Very good value for money. Hotel modern and clean. Room full of UK plug sockets so plenty of space for charging all our electronic devices. Lack of Wifi in room no problem as there was a good 3G network. Breakfast in hotel was very good. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant but had food from the pool bar a couple of times which was ok but not great. […] There was a slide/swing set for kids on the grassy area near the sea but this was a little rickety and not easy for the kids to use. Kids had fun in the shallow pool but hotel geared more towards adults and older kids than toddlers. Local restaurants were good but very quiet -both of the ones we tried had play areas for kids. Had a great time at Paphos Zoo, Coral Bay and Paphos harbour. We would return to this area for another holiday. Read more

Over all good hotel: clean and modern rooms, nice and polite staff, quiet location and still near everything.Only thing do not agree that you have to pay extra for a room with balcony, considering it is a 4 star hotel !!!

We had a great stay at the Capital Coast Resort. Our hotel room was large, clean, with comfortable beds with a great balcony which overlooked the swimming pools and the ocean. Everyone at the hotel were very friendly and reception were very helpful with our many queries regarding buses, tours, etc. There is a local bus that stops in front of the hotel […] that you take into the harbour and you can catch other buses from the harbour to other locations. We were also able to book day tours to the Troodos Mountains and a Limossol tour through the hotel. There were a variety of tours and activities that you can book through the hotel which made it very convenient. The tour bus picks you up across the street of the hotel. So although the hotel was away from the touristy area by the harbour it was still quite easy to get there even without a car. A grocery store is also right across the street from the hotel. Our only complaints about Capital Coast is that wireless in our rooms was not very good. Breakfast was very much the same daily but ok. Dinner was different every night with lots to choose from and was very good. With having kids, we did wish that there were some child friendly foods that were offered. Also, it was great that there was an indoor pool, it was not heated so the kids only used it our first evening and didn't want to go back. Despite these complaints our stay here was very good and would definitely recommend this hotel. Read more

Was there for 3 days on business, Had a great time, Quiet, Great room and good hotel food, Staff all nice and friendly, few things not available but it was out of season. Cannot fault the hotel or it's staff. The only thing which let it down was the food or more to the point the lack of choice. Breakfast was the usual buffet style and catered more the English tourist (full English) which was nice and tasty. However the evening meals in my opinion were not good value for money. At 20 euros per person you can get much […] better food in the local area. Also the bar would not serve bar snacks (even from the menu sitting on your table) so we were forced to use the restaurant or go elsewhere for even a light snack. Perhaps things are different in the summer months, but in winter most places are shut of an evening so choice is limited. I would recommend a great restaurant we found called "Poppadums". I would have to say it's the best Tandoori Restaurant I have ever been too. The food was amazing and much better value than the hotel. The hotel was very pleasant. Breakfast was a bit crowde. Lighting bedroom could have been better eg a reading light over the bed. Very close to beach. Plenty of swimming pools. close to the excellent bus service.

We chose this hotel for the beach location. That was the best bit - right on the seafront. We took advantage of the free airport transfers from Paphos, which also worked out very well. The driver was particularly helpful. We had booked an Executive Sea View one bed apt for a special anniversary visit. The corridor to the room was very dark and unwelcoming. […] The room itself was very spacious but very bland - not much furniture, only overhead lights in the living area. Tiled floors everywhere made it very noisy. We had asked for a high floor, but were on the first floor, with a family above us. Not a single good night's sleep . We asked to change room, but the service at reception was terrible. Only one lady tried her best to deal with our various complaints did not have authority. (Jacuzzi did not work, shower leaked, extractor in the bathroom broken). Indoor pool area is very spacious, but looked very badly maintained - missing tiles etc. Outdoor pool area looked great, but again was poorly maintained. Good things - beach location and some great pubs/restaurants nearby. Our best food was DTs just past Lidl and Hephaestus - a cheap and cheerful kebab place past O'Neills - excellent food and really friendly people. Nadia at reception was always cheerful. The breakfast chef made excellent omelettes. This place has the potential to be excellent, but lets itself down with maintenance and service. Read more

The staff were smiley and helpful nothing was a problem. We had a suite which was very spacious and had every appliance. The breakfast was good quality and trhe Romanian egg chef made eggs and omlets to order perfect every time. The sunsets were amazing to watch while having a beer at the pool bar during happy hour 5-6pm whilst the terrace bars happy […] hour was 6-7pm we only discovered this on our last night. We stayed at the Capital Coast the year it first opened and were very impressed. We expected to return this year and find that it wouldn't be quite as good as the first time. We were delighted to find the hotel was just as beautifully kept. Everywhere was spotless and well maintained. The service from all staff was excellent, they were all polite, friendly […] and helpful. All facilities were clean and cared for. Overall I enjoyed my stay although the entertainment was average the week I stayed, the music system was poor and frequently broke down. The rooms were of a good standard though some maintenance was required, everything worked, just a little tired. It did not spoil my stay and I would recommend it to friends travelling to Cyprus

Stayed in a one bed superior suite floor four sea veiw overlooking the pools, three pools and an indoor pool. They gave us a free upgrade. I would call it an aparthotel the room had two showers a full kitchen all very modern. We stayed bed and breakfast which was very good with a wide selection of food. Fantastic resort with great facilities and fully equipped suites which make for an affordable relaxing and easy stay. The resort is very modern with nice communal facilities and is in the perfect location. The suite layouts are excellent for couples or families, and the hot tub addition to the executive suites is a fab touch. We really enjoyed our stay at the Capital Coast. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was very comfortable and suited all our needs. The hotel is very well situated. Not in the hussle n bussle of paphos but a short bus ride to all the main attractions. Bus stops right outside the Hotel were very useful! Also loads of restuarants within walking distance […] with lots of variety! The staff at the hotel were very nice and accomodating, from those at breakfast to the conceirge! Tip for booking excersions take a walk down the road towards the kfc there is a little travel agency called Prestige Travel. Lovely lady there who booked us on 2 amazing tours for a fraction of the price the hotel was charging! Cant fault the hotel and if we ever return to Paphos will definately stay there! Last tip: make sure you drop the hotel an email before travelling to arrange free transfer to and from airport. Great little perk!! Read more
