The accomodations were great -- very stylish. Flat screen TV. Very comfortable beds. The only complaint we have is that our room was one floor above the patio and the noise level was horrific.

Great location for walking to ASU Football/Basketball/Baseball games - can even catch the light-rail to make it quicker. Electrical problem in the hotel the night that we stayed, but manager addressed it before we checked in and gave a discount. Overall - great stay.

The hotel was perfectly located for our visit to ASU and the staff could not have been more accommodating. We have stayed there before and found the sliding door to the bathroom to offer less privacy than usual but are now used to it.

Exceptionally helpful and pleasant staff! Perfect location!

This is a great hotel in a perfect location for anyone visiting or doing business with Arizona State University. The hotel has been renovated and is very modern. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was a decent size. Even for a first floor room, it was reasonably quiet. The only negative was the slightly noisy air conditioner, but for middle of summer in the desert, even that wasn't bad.

It's no 5 star hotel, but VERY close to ASU and convenient for just about any other Phoenix area location because it's close to the freeway. They don't have ice machines so you have to get it from the front desk, but I never had a problem with that. For the most part the service is great, but you get an occasional attitude.

This hotel was recently remodeled but they took shortcuts and now it shows. The hotel is in a convenient location across from the main campus of Arizona State University and is near the streetcar for easy access to downtown Tempe and Phoenix. I received a great rate and decided to try this hotel and was disappointed. The rooms were noisy (between room noise and out into the parking lot) and there was a 1/2 inch gap under the door so you could hear conversations of people walking down the hall at all hours of the night. The bathroom has a sliding door (similar to a pocket door) that really belongs on the side of a barn. The breakfast was uninspiring in quality and selection. The under-window A/C was noisy but effective. In addition, the cleaning staff left a lot to be desired - toiletries weren't replenished, the free bottled water in the room was not restocked daily and the carpet was dirty. In all, a disappointing experience. There are other, newer, hotels in the area that might be a better choice.

For anyone visiting the ASU campus, this hotel is perfect for your visit. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Great bar in the lobby. Free WIFI in the rooms and a computer and printer are available in the lobby. The hotel offers free shuttle service to and from the airport so if your stay is limited to ASU's main campus, no rental car is necessary. Breakfast is available in the lobby and there are many restaurants located within walking distance. The swimming pool is large and was never crowded. The fitness center has all the basic equipment plus TV service. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Well worth a visit.

Overall a nice hotel for the money however: The air conditioner was too loud (fan noises) and caused a draft over the bed. We are light sensitive and even though there were blackout drapes light came in over the top (no cornice). The staff were very responsive to our problems but could not really do much.

One of the reasons I chose this hotel was that they listed a restaurant on site and after a long work day, especially if I don't have a rental car, I usually just want to stay in the hotel to eat. The restaurant was unexplicably closed for dinner when I got there and I had to walk half a mile through a very sketchy neighborhood to the closest non fast-food restaurant. For breakfast, the restaurant was open. There were 3 people working as servers and only three occupied tables but the service was still painfully slow and inadequate. I had to ask for silverware twice after I got my food.

There are three things I hated about the hotel. The area of the location was in the ghetto, but the inside was very nice. The swiming pool was gross! And the last thing about the hotel that wasn't that wonderful was the bathroom door. There is no lock on the door. The door is a slide door. There is a little peep hole where you can see insided from the out side. I went with family so that was kind of a big deal. Overall it's family friendly hotel at a good price and about 4-5 minutes to the phoenix zoo. Lots of good food places! That's always a plus!!!

Very attractive room with a great location next to ASU. The room was not very serviceable due to the fact that there were no drawers, just closet space, and the "new style" bathroom door did not completely close. Additionally, pool area light poured around the curtains all night long illuminating the room. The Sunday afternoon we were there the hotel hosted a party at the pool that had mind drumming bass music continuously for hours. we were not warned of the party and had no recourse.

I had read the reviews and was a little hesitant but our stay was very pleasant. I wanted to stay within walking distance from ASU. The hotel even had a shuttle service. The rooms are modern and nicely decored for a business stay this is a excellent choice and the price is excellent.

Hotel restroom looked like it was last used by a woman in her mestrual period as there was a tampon floating in the toilet and toilet seat was dirty, our bedding looked as if sheets were not washed or changed out before our arrival. We were not happy with our stay and wont ever stay there again. The breakfast buffett was served cold and was a bit overpriced for the quality.

This is an older hotel that has had some great TLC. I was a bit nervous stepping into the elevator due to the old looking carpet in the elevator and then again in the hallway. But the room was very clean, the staff was excellent, and the location was terrific for the events that I was in town to attend. A bit noisy as we had a street room, but expected that anyway as we were across the street from ASU. I would stay again. Good value for the money spent.

It was a great hotel very clean very comfortable, great location, but i was dissapointed with the costumer service. I called and asked for a cab and they never did. When i asked what the rates were to make a long distance they gave me the incorrect rate and tried charging me 100 buck for a 15 min call. Other than that it really was a nice place, the beds are great.

The evening manager Denise was very friendly and helpful. In fact all of the staff was very pleasant. The only downside was a group of college kids having a party in a room overlooking the pool.

Old carpet and fixtures. Sliding door on bathroom taht when closed still has a 3/4 gap. Not private.

The hotel is an older hotel and even though I don't believe it was booked too heavily the night we stayed there it was noisy. Also their food service leaves a lot to be desired. Their breakfast buffet is $12.95 and it was not much for the price. My husband ordered eggs off of their menu (which was never shown to us) which they told us they had and it took so long to get it I asked about what had happened to it. We spent two nights there and the second morning we did not do their breakfast. Surprisingly there were not a lot of other places in the immediate area to eat. I say surprisingly because the hotel is across the street from a part of the ASU campus.

Definitely better than the other motels i the immediate vicinity. The hotel had great rates for a Friday night, it was a welcome upgrade from Days Inn. Nice, big clean room, friendly staff, great service, definitely recommended for the price.

The hotel is well maintained. They appear to be understaffed, but once you get an employee's attention, they are very helpful. The coffee bar was a plus. The rooms were very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.

the rooms were great, the only thing was, when we arrivied the reservations were not ready because hotels.com had not notify them. so the receptionoist did not want to charge us twice, so he just asked for the recit number and contacted hotels.com for us. everything was very good.

Hotel was clean and seemed recently updated. Right across the street from ASU. There is a small bar, restaurant and coffee counter in the lobby which worked for our needs; not grand, but adequate. Would definitely stay there again, especially for the price we paid for the room.

The hotels credit card and key meachine did not work. Luckily we prepaid so the hassle for payment was minimal. However the front dest agent had to walk us to our room and open the door. We cold not be provided with keys so we had to prop the outside door open from the inside to get out luggage in the buliding. The hallway leading to the outside had large trash cans in open view. Not likely to return.

The hotel quality on maintenance of walls, floors, paint, caulk, etc was not up to the standards that i would expect for a Sheraton. The qualify was more like an older Fairfield or Comfort inn. The location was great however.

This hotel was absoultely beautifully modern. From the flatscreens to the bathroom barn doors, the tall entrance doors, and the very comfortable bed. We truly enjoyed our night and wished we were staying longer.

The hotel is located across the street from ASU and almost walking distance to downtown Tempe. The place is clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed a dip in the outdoor pool in late October. Located close to two major highways, easy driving to Chandler and Phoenix.

I liked being close to ASU. The room was modern, luxurious, and clean. The bed was extemely comfortable and the linens were very nice. The breakfast was expensive for what it was.

We flew in to go to an Arizona State University football game. The hotel front desk staff were very friendly and full of information that helped our planning.The room was very clean, spacious and had plenty of parking. The pool was nice and clean. We would stay here again and would recommend that friends,family etc do too.

The room was very nice, however I did not know about the 3 early morning trains that go by the hotel between 6am-8am Mon-Fri. The sliding glass door was left unlocked which is not safe for women traveling alone. My coworker and myself ordered room service and the glasses and plates stayed by the hotel room door for 3 days. The final thing was that everyone's clocks were changed in their room for daylight savings time. Problem was Phoenix does not observe daylight savings.

This Hotel is a mediocre hotel posing as a low end W. The service is below average however, the people are really nice. The rooms look cool- but they're not well set up and the sheets are uncomfortable. I'd stay here again- it's a good location and the price isn't bad

Good location to the ASU campus. Price did not reflect condition of hotel. Room was not cleaned except to change towels. Balcony door did not lock, which left the room open to theft. We will not stay there again.
