This is a very pleasant guest house in a town just outside of Garmisch and about a 15 minute walk from the Zugspitze rail. Dinner and breakfast were exceptional, home-cooked, and plentiful. I stayed here by myself for two nights. Regina took care of me like family on both days, including volunteering to drive me to the Zugspitze rail and to the Garmish metro when I left (both in the snow). She also was able to accommodate an early breakfast for me so I could catch my train on time. The house is from the 1890s and, although renovated, still has a simple, old Bavarian feel to it. The room was simple (had a deep bath tub, rather than mounted shower stall) but clean and comfortable. I was surprised at how pleasantly quiet the house was at night and slept very well. Lastly, they have a very cozy, copper fireplace w/ comfortable leather furniture in the front, bar area that is perfect for lounging in after a hard day of skiing. Highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for inexpensive convenience, comfort, and quiet!

We arrived to 125 people checking in all at once due to a flight cancellation, and yet the staff handled us and everyone else flawlessly. They even upgraded us to a nice room since we already had a reservation and the cancelled flight guests did not. The sauna/steam was brand new and empty, and the breakfast was just as nice as any European hotel. Five stars for an airport hotel. The only drawback is the jet noise, but to be expected when you're staying near an airport.

This hotel was right across the bridge from the main downtown area of Innsbruck. The room was small, but that is common for Europe. The shower and bathroom were very nice and clean. The included breakfast was very well done and offered many different choices. The only issue we had with this hotel was the lack of free wifi- for the price per night, we thought that was a reasonable request. Overall, a very nice experience.

chose this hotel as a late ski getaway. would not normally have been our choice but due to time of year 1st jan 2013 everywhere was fully booked in ski... resorts. however we were not disappointed, the free ski bus every morning was great but you are only 20mins on local bus away from nearest ski resort. the free ski bus takes you to a central bus station where you hop on which ever ski bus you like going to different locations, if you dont mind the travel to ski resorts this is perfect base as you have city close at hand too. cannot fault hotel in any way, our room was huge not in main block but over the road, it was very clean, breakfast excellent, and would recommend it to anyone. Lovely place and very friendly staff. We stayed in a tripple room which was spacious and reasonably comfortable. The breakfast was devine. Unfortunately we didn't have dinner inthe restaurant but it seemed very popular with the locals and very busy so it must be good. We wished we stayed longer at this hotel and Innsbruk.

We stayed one night in this beautiful hotel. Everything about it was excellent. We had a clean, spacious room and bathroom. The view of the mountains was gorgeous. Staff, were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely return and would recommend this hotel. We were a family of 4 on a three week vacation.

Der Bierwirt hat nichts mit der Tiroler Gastfreundschaft am Hut, so wie wir sie kennen! 3Bett Zimmer gebucht, ein Zimmer(angeblich Suite)im unbeschriebenen, teils an Wohnungsmieter verpachtete Neben-Nebengebäude, zu oberst in der Dachschräge bekommen! und vom in der Homepage versprochenen Tirolerstyle haben wir in diesem Zimmer nichts mitbekommen! Så der var rigtig tyrolerstemning. Værelset var fint, rummeligt og pænt rengjort. Meget negativ modtagelse ved ankomst, vi følte os ikke velkomne. Morgenmad meget ringe kvalitet og der var alt for lidt, morgenmaden blev (det der var tilbage) taget væk en time før tid.
