We had an excellent stay. Hotel is very central. got upgraded as wasn't full and the business class room was lovely- sitting area, big bathroom. Very clean, good decor, good view up Old Stein. Good value bar and WiFi worked well. Highly recommended.

"Beautiful hotel shame about the nightclub"

This was a beautiful hotel. It's been refurbished and is stunning. The room we stayed in has perhaps previously had a damp problem as the plaster was quite cracked but nothing to spoil our stay. Unfortunately we had a bus stop and nightclub right outside our window which kept us awake most of the night. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I can't wait to go back.

originally the room we were given was very small, we could not even put our suitcase down. We upgraded the room (against a cost)which was a major improvement. The room was very hot though, airco not working properly. The room service was a farce. We ordered cooked English breakfast, after waiting 1 hour we had to call 4 times to get the service right. The concierge was perfect, friendly, giving good tips where to go. We had 1 meal in the restaurant, it was very good.

The Hotel was very nice from the outside, reception staff very friendly and helpfull, behind the Bar was dirty (including the cups) The room was clean but no tea or coffee make facilities in the room and none available. we didn't eat there after looking behind the bar
