"close to all must-see sights"
Made great memories with my oldest two grandchildren (ages 13 and 18). It was a surprise to the youngest but I could tell that both of them felt very comfortable there. My oldest especially enjoyed the breakfasts and the ability to use the kayaks on the lake. The setting was very quiet and enjoyable; however, their sign needs to be bigger and maybe […] lit up at night time. Each rooms are welcoming and very comfortable. Probably the best place I have EVER stayed at. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, the room was extremely clean and inviting. Its a short drive(10 min) away from the Branson "strip" but that just made it even better. Very quiet and relaxing. Will recommend to friends!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect Inn in a Perfect setting"
This was our first experience at a bed and breakfast. It was so very relaxing! The hot tub has a lake view and is a must in the evening. Mike and Dee are wonderful people and cooks!Genuine Expedia guest review
Stay was nice! We did not realize it was so far from Branson. Quiet and Romantic!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We had a perfectly relaxing stay and enjoyed the drive to the inn. The lake was lovely even in the late fall. We had no problem getting to Branson for shopping and enjoyed coming back to the inn at night to relax. Breakfast was wonderful as well!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Home away from home"
Beautiful home and beautiful location, but the highlight is the hospitality of the owners. Mike and Dee are warm, friendly people who pay close attention to every detail to ensure the comfort of their guests. The breakfasts were wonderful, too.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent Bed and Breakfast on Table Rock Lake"
Spent three nights at Anchor Inn on the Lake and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the stay. Dee and Mike were great hosts, quick to respond to any need. Bed was very comfortable, room and inn amenities were great. I was sad to have to leave!Genuine Expedia guest review

"Luxury Home away from Home"
Never having been to a Bed&Breakfast we had no idea what to expect, We asked to check in an hour early due to time constrants and were granted the boon. We were greeted upon arrival made to feel completely at home with snacks and sodas available throughout our stay. The room was lovely and luxurious with chromotherapy and jetted tub, fireplace and separate […] bathroom with shower. Breakfast was abundant and flavorful, It is a bit out of the way, but well worth the trip. We have found a new favorite. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quiet and relaxing"
I stay in hotels every week for my work so I wanted something different for my vacation. The cottage I rented from Anchor Inn on the Lake was wonderful. It had the feel of a home away from home. The view off the back deck was breath-taking. The private hot tub was great for relaxing after a long day of shopping.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
it was very beautiful and peaceful we only wish we had more time there. It is great that this is one of the few B&B's that will allow a one night stay. The hosts were most pleasant and saw to our every need. We would defiantly recommend.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Activities within a 25 minute drive are Branson Landing (shopping and recreational activities), Dogwood Canyon is a must see, variety of shows, various restaurants, Silver Dollar City, Caverns, Horseback riding, Canoeing, Kayaking, and lots more.
"Another wonderful vacation at the Anchor Inn"

My husband and I just returned from our second visit to the Anchor Inn B&B. We enjoyed this beautiful home and outstanding hosts so much last year that we decided to make a return visit., staying even longer this trip. We were not disappointed. This B&B Is delightful. We stayed in the Mediterranean Room again. While all the rooms are very nice, this room with its King Bed, fireplace and private upstairs jacuzzi in the lighthouse is by far the most romantic. Once again we enjoyed our visits with Mike and Dee, who are delightful hosts...friendly but respectful of their guests need for private time. Breakfast each morning was delicious. Celebrating my birthday there for two years in a row was very special. We plan to go back again next year.
"Relaxing Stay, Excellent Property, Exceptional Hosts"

My husband and I recently stayed here for a weekend getaway to the Branson area and were very impressed. Anchor Inn is in a lovely setting that feels remote yet is close to the area attractions, with Table Rock Lake right in the back yard. There are multiple areas for guests to enjoy, both inside and outdoors. We were greeted at the door by Mike as we arrived. He took the time to show us around the entire property, inside and out. We are early risers and Mike was willing to accommodate our early schedule with coffee. We had a pleasant visit with Mike about the area before settling in. Our room was great. We stayed in the Maryland room, which is the most recent addition to the B&B, added in 2008 (We learned this from Dee on our second day there). It is decorated/furnished nicely and very comfortable. The Maryland room has a private entrance as well as an entrance from inside the main house. It is not a huge room but has plenty of space, including a large closet. There is also a Jacuzzi, king-sized bed, and a fireplace. As expected, we were up early and coffee was waiting for us. Breakfast was excellent - we had egg & hashbrown casserole, fruit and yogurt parfaits, pecan pie muffins, and glazed ham. We enjoyed our morning in the screened in porch with a view of the lake with coffee, breakfast, and conversation with Mike and Dee as well as several other guests. I would highly recommend the Anchor Inn. You can't beat the hospitality, and the price is very reasonable for the accommodations. We will definitely return in the future.
"Wonderful, peaceful place."

We stayed in the Skipjack cabin. The bed was so comfortable and we loved having a kitchen to make meals. It's a great place to stay whether you are out and about or just want to relax and stay there like we did most of the time. Will definitely go back!
"Perfect relaxing weekend-cottages"

The cottages (we stayed in Skipjack) are a perfect place to relax! It was the best decision we made for our trip to Branson. Great views, quiet serenity, privacy on the deck and in the private hot tub, all lender to a great weekend away. We will definitely be back!
"Amazing Attention to Detail+Outstanding Value+Wonderful Hosts"

From the moment we arrived, Dee and Mike made us feel like we'd found our "home away from home." We were given an overview of the property and information about attractions was made readily available. We stayed in the Virginia Room and highly recommend it for couples. Our immaculate and tastefully decorated room had a private bath, fireplace, comfy bed, and a beautiful view of the lake. In addition, the room also had a patio door which opened to a second story deck so you could also enjoy the lake view while sitting outside. Other amenities included a boat dock, paddleboats/kayaks, exercise room, hot tub, large screened upper deck, kitchen and spacious living area. Snacks and breakfasts were delicious, and we especially enjoyed our conversations with Dee and Mike. This is a great property to stay at if you want a quiet get-away, and it's only a short drive to Branson shows and beautiful Dogwood Canyon!
"Excellent getaway for couples"
10/24/13 ed-dest Lawrence, Kansas
We really enjoyed our stay at the Skipjack cabin, a couple of miles up the road from the main house. While not directly on the water, the deck gives a huge panoramic view of the lake and hills with perfect sun and moon rises. Beautiful loft bedroom (with same views as the deck). Nice size kitchen for those who like to prepare their own snacks and meals. We also loved the Jacuzzi, soaking away the cares while gazing over the lake. Everything is quiet, secluded and private. While the cabin could sleep 4 with the pullout futon in the living room, it's really a couples' getaway place. Not a lot for kids to do there - no real yard or access to the lake. But that "nothing to do" feel is perfect for a stress free getaway from hectic life.

My husband and I went to Branson for an anniversary celebration and wanted stay in a bed and breakfast for the first time. We couldn't have been more happy with the Anchor Inn on the Lake. Mike and Dee have done an amazing job with decorating their home, anticipating your needs and having lots of special touches. There's a hot tub for guests, use of kayaks and a paddleboat on the lake, each room has a private deck area overlooking the lake, there are always chocolate chip cookies and peanuts (along with chips and drinks in the fridge) in the kitchen, and the breakfasts were wonderful. We were so stuffed after our meals, which included things like breakfast casseroles, sweetened fruit, homemade biscuits with jam, and parfaits. Everything was immaculately clean, comfortable, and inviting. We are looking forward to our next visit to Anchor Inn on the Lake for sure!
"Great B+B, Outstanding Value"
08/13/13 Matt W Olathe, Kansas
My wife and I took a short vacation in Branson and stayed at the Anchor Inn, which is located about midway between Branson West and Kimberling City on Table Rock Lake. Mike and Dee were gracious hosts, quick to meet any need and genuinely interested in their guests. The amenities are generous -- there's a boat dock with a paddleboat and kayaks, an exercise room, a hot tub, and a large, well decorated common area. Rooms were well sized -- ours had a double vanity and a nice air-massage tub as well as a very comfortable bed. Breakfasts were just great -- delicious food combined with light conversation between Mike, Dee, and different groups of guests. The inn itself is in excellent condition inside and out and is kept immaculate. I was very sad to leave, but if my wife and I ever get to ditch the kids again for a quick weekend away, we're heading back to the Anchor Inn!

Mike and Dee were wonderful hosts and a beautiful home on the lake. Well worth the drive to Branson to have the quiet atmosphere of the Lake Home. We enjoyed our Kayak trip around the lake which was very peaceful.
