"Perfect Inn in a Perfect setting"
This was our first experience at a bed and breakfast. It was so very relaxing! The hot tub has a lake view and is a must in the evening. Mike and Dee are wonderful people and cooks!Genuine Expedia guest review
Stay was nice! We did not realize it was so far from Branson. Quiet and Romantic!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We had a perfectly relaxing stay and enjoyed the drive to the inn. The lake was lovely even in the late fall. We had no problem getting to Branson for shopping and enjoyed coming back to the inn at night to relax. Breakfast was wonderful as well!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Home away from home"
Beautiful home and beautiful location, but the highlight is the hospitality of the owners. Mike and Dee are warm, friendly people who pay close attention to every detail to ensure the comfort of their guests. The breakfasts were wonderful, too.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent Bed and Breakfast on Table Rock Lake"
Spent three nights at Anchor Inn on the Lake and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the stay. Dee and Mike were great hosts, quick to respond to any need. Bed was very comfortable, room and inn amenities were great. I was sad to have to leave!Genuine Expedia guest review

"Luxury Home away from Home"
Never having been to a Bed&Breakfast we had no idea what to expect, We asked to check in an hour early due to time constrants and were granted the boon. We were greeted upon arrival made to feel completely at home with snacks and sodas available throughout our stay. The room was lovely and luxurious with chromotherapy and jetted tub, fireplace and separate […] bathroom with shower. Breakfast was abundant and flavorful, It is a bit out of the way, but well worth the trip. We have found a new favorite. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quiet and relaxing"
I stay in hotels every week for my work so I wanted something different for my vacation. The cottage I rented from Anchor Inn on the Lake was wonderful. It had the feel of a home away from home. The view off the back deck was breath-taking. The private hot tub was great for relaxing after a long day of shopping.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
it was very beautiful and peaceful we only wish we had more time there. It is great that this is one of the few B&B's that will allow a one night stay. The hosts were most pleasant and saw to our every need. We would defiantly recommend.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Amazing Attention to Detail+Outstanding Value+Wonderful Hosts"

From the moment we arrived, Dee and Mike made us feel like we'd found our "home away from home." We were given an overview of the property and information about attractions was made readily available. We stayed in the Virginia Room and highly recommend it for couples. Our immaculate and tastefully decorated room had a private bath, fireplace, comfy bed, and a beautiful view of the lake. In addition, the room also had a patio door which opened to a second story deck so you could also enjoy the lake view while sitting outside. Other amenities included a boat dock, paddleboats/kayaks, exercise room, hot tub, large screened upper deck, kitchen and spacious living area. Snacks and breakfasts were delicious, and we especially enjoyed our conversations with Dee and Mike. This is a great property to stay at if you want a quiet get-away, and it's only a short drive to Branson shows and beautiful Dogwood Canyon!
"Excellent getaway for couples"

We really enjoyed our stay at the Skipjack cabin, a couple of miles up the road from the main house. While not directly on the water, the deck gives a huge panoramic view of the lake and hills with perfect sun and moon rises. Beautiful loft bedroom (with same views as the deck). Nice size kitchen for those who like to prepare their own snacks and meals. We also loved the Jacuzzi, soaking away the cares while gazing over the lake. Everything is quiet, secluded and private. While the cabin could sleep 4 with the pullout futon in the living room, it's really a couples' getaway place. Not a lot for kids to do there - no real yard or access to the lake. But that "nothing to do" feel is perfect for a stress free getaway from hectic life.

My husband and I went to Branson for an anniversary celebration and wanted stay in a bed and breakfast for the first time. We couldn't have been more happy with the Anchor Inn on the Lake. Mike and Dee have done an amazing job with decorating their home, anticipating your needs and having lots of special touches. There's a hot tub for guests, use of kayaks and a paddleboat on the lake, each room has a private deck area overlooking the lake, there are always chocolate chip cookies and peanuts (along with chips and drinks in the fridge) in the kitchen, and the breakfasts were wonderful. We were so stuffed after our meals, which included things like breakfast casseroles, sweetened fruit, homemade biscuits with jam, and parfaits. Everything was immaculately clean, comfortable, and inviting. We are looking forward to our next visit to Anchor Inn on the Lake for sure!
"Great B+B, Outstanding Value"

My wife and I took a short vacation in Branson and stayed at the Anchor Inn, which is located about midway between Branson West and Kimberling City on Table Rock Lake. Mike and Dee were gracious hosts, quick to meet any need and genuinely interested in their guests. The amenities are generous -- there's a boat dock with a paddleboat and kayaks, an exercise room, a hot tub, and a large, well decorated common area. Rooms were well sized -- ours had a double vanity and a nice air-massage tub as well as a very comfortable bed. Breakfasts were just great -- delicious food combined with light conversation between Mike, Dee, and different groups of guests. The inn itself is in excellent condition inside and out and is kept immaculate. I was very sad to leave, but if my wife and I ever get to ditch the kids again for a quick weekend away, we're heading back to the Anchor Inn!

Mike and Dee were wonderful hosts and a beautiful home on the lake. Well worth the drive to Branson to have the quiet atmosphere of the Lake Home. We enjoyed our Kayak trip around the lake which was very peaceful.
"The best Bed & Breakfast"

My husband and I just returned from a two night visit to Branson. This was a birthday celebration, so we were hoping that the B&B we selected would be very special. The Anchor Inn on the Lake is way more than special. It is by far the nicest B&B we have ever stayed in (and we have stayed in quite a few). We stayed in the Mediteranean room. The only word to describe this room is WOW. The bedroom area was so nice, with a wonderfully comfortable king size four poster bed (make sure to ask Dee about the incredible bedding) , lakeview deck, fireplace and flat screen TV. Upstairs, another fireplace, a private lakeview deck, and an air bubble tub with a 360 degree view. Mike and Dee are delightful hosts. Breakfast was outstanding both days. We really feel like we made two new friends this weekend.
"Absolutely Perfect! 100% recommend!"

My husband and I stayed with Mike and Dee at Anchor Inn on the Lake Bed and Breakfast for a weekend getaway to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. We were greeted by the wonderfully sweet and kind Innkeepers and shown to our room. We were then given a tour of the gorgeous grounds and amenities on the property. We stayed in the Maryland room and it was fabulolus. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, the room was private and very well appointed. We had a private entrance which was nice as we returned to the B&B very late both nights that we stayed. Breakfast was wonderful both days and served on a beautiful screened in porch with a beautiful tree top view. A short walk down the hill and we were on the B&B's dock on Table Rock Lake. We would absolutely recommend staying with Dee and Mike in their gorgeous B&B and we will certailny stay with them again!
"The best place to get away!"
My husband and I wanted a mini vacation to reconnect. I found this place online and was pleasantly surprised when I arrived for the weekend. Mike and Dee are wonderfully charming and the cabin was just far enough away from the chaotic Branson tourist but close enough we could go into town and have dinner and enjoy a show. We loved it so much we ended up extending our stay. The cabin is very clean and is furnished with everything you need except food. We also enjoyed a private hot tub and the use of paddle boats and canoes out on the lake. A must stay for anyone wanting to get away and relax. I didn't mention the beautiful view of the lake from back private patio. We will defiantly be back!!!
"LOVED LOVED LOVED the Virginia Room"

If you are looking for a beautiful LAKESIDE getaway, look no further. The Anchor Inn B&B will be your perfect getaway. Branson has its share of wonderful shows, glitz, and restaurants, but after the shows are over, after the shops have been visited, the Anchor Inn provides a restful haven to all of the hubbub. You will be serenaded by a chorus of songbirds while you sit on the deck looking at the lake. The deck chairs are comfy with built in head cushions. Visitors have unlimited use of kayaks located at the owner's private pier. There's a hot tub for use. If you bring your wet suit and snorkel gear, the lake is clear enough to have a good refreshing swim. The breakfasts and breakfast service is absolutely superb. The food is plentiful, beautifully presented and in great variety. There is a refrigerator stocked with drinks and the kitchen welcomes guests with home baked cookies and peanuts. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the gracious hospitality of the owners Mike and Dee. They were a delightful couple who were helpful and gracious If you are on the fence about whether the Anchor Inn is worth the half-hour drive to and from Branson, go for it. You will be rewarded by a Ma & Pa Pizza Parlor that serves the best Pepperoni Pizza ever which is minutes from this establishment.
"A Haven of Rest"

Anchor Inn on the Lake Bed & Breakfast is the perfect haven for a time away! We have stayed at the in three times of the past few years and haved loved each time. Mike and Dee, the Innkeepers, are wonderful host and such caring people. We enjoy our time with them over the incredibly tasty breakfasts that are served each morning. They think of every detail to make your stay so relaxing and special, including the wonderful chocolate chip cookies that are freshly prepared and waiting in the kitchen through out the day. The rooms perfect. We have stayed in three different rooms (Newport, Virginia, & Mediterranean) and have enjoyed each. The are beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and have lovely views of the Lake & well kept lawns. For us, the Inn had been a haven of rest when we have wanted/needed a weekend getaway. The heart and faith in which Dee & Mike run the Inn and serve their guest sets an atmosphere for a caring and peaceful retreat. We would (and have) recommend this special place and will continue to visit, as well!
