We recently stayed at the Bacan apartments and found them to be an excellant holiday home. Everything was spotlessly clean and our balcony was huge where we enjoyed plenty of leisure time. The owner Antun could not be more hospitable as nothing was too much trouble for him. Would reccomend the above apartments for a relaxing holiday.

The people couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Antun, the owner/manager picked me up from the airport himself (only 10 euros) and he had even checked arrival times and was there even though we arrived 1/2 hour early. When I checked out I wasn't flying until that night but was meeting friends at a local large hotel meantime. Antun dropped me […] and a friend plus luggage to the hotel free of charge!! The staff could not have been more helpful, the room was what we expected, clean, and comfortable. On the downside, we would have preferred a balcony but that was the only minor moan about the Bacan. Terrific location, apart from the hills!

Main positives: -Close to airport - there in 10 minutes -Bus stop to Dubrovnik is right outside -5 minute walk to centre of Cavtat, 10 minutes to shingle beach at Zal -Staff are extremely polite and helpful -Room is well-maintained and clean, with good kitchen facilities Main negatives: -Close to airport - accommodation is right under airport approach […] path (but is the same for most other places in Cavtat), so can be slightly noisy -Walk from town centre is uphill (moderately steep) -Slightly small for more than 2 people; second bed is located in kitchen/dining room -Apartments are tightly clustered together; although patio furniture is provided, it is not possible (for example) to sit outside late in the evening with risk of disturbance to neighbours. Great people and apartment in a wonderful area of Croatia, Bacan Apartments are served well by the local Busstop, Supermarket and a delightful little pizza restaurant, if you don't fancy the walk into Cavtat

The Bacan apartments were perfect. Our trip was to Montenegro but we wanted to stay close to Dubrovnik airport for an early flight. We popped into Cavtat in the evening (it was only a short stroll to the harbour) and it seemed a lovely place. We travelled in late October so it was a little quiet as out of season.

Antun, who owns the apartments is very friendly, and a great help with local knowledge. The apartments are located up a steep hill a short distance from Cavtat. We walked it each day we were there but there is the option of a bus (One stop from Cavtat) or a taxi. I cannot advise the fares. The bus to and from Dubrovnik stops right outside the apartments […] and runs about every half and hour. There is a good supermarket less than 100 metres from the apartments and a family style restaurant almost opposite which serves good food at reasonable prices. The top apartments have a great view of the sea and you can see almost as far a Dubrovnik. We really enjoyed our time there and wished we had booked for a longer stay and would highly recommend he apartments. Read more

Antun runs an excellent apartment house. Up above Cavtat, right on the bus stop for Dubrovnik buses and a pleasant 10 minute walk down to town (15 minutes back up), it is in a convenient location. A handy supermarket is just 3 minutes walk - if that. We really enjoyed the walk back up the hill though less fit people might prefer to take the bus. The […] apartment was very well appointed and scrupulously clean. The bedroom, bathroom and lounge-diner were all roomy, and we enjoyed breakfast out on the balcony every morning (prepared ourselves of course). The kitchen includes a sink, two ring hob, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster, and good pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Cavtat is a superb harbour/village on the Adriatic, a short ferry trip or bus ride from Dubrovnik. The apartments are 10 mins from harbour. Anton the owner is very hospitable and will collect you from airport (10 euros each way). The apartments are not luxurious, but comfortable and good value. It is easy to book trips to Bosnia (Mostar) and Montenegro […] in the village, plus boat trips to the many islands,and there ar e lovely walks around the two peninsulas jutting out from the harbour. We stayed three nights at these apartments. The staff were friendly and always helpful. It was a nice apartment with pretty much everything you needed. It was reasonably quiet however be aware that it is directly over the flight path to the airport. The bus stop into Dubrovnick is pretty much right outside the door and service is effiecient and frequent. […] The beach is about a 5-7 minute walk and as others have mentioned it is a steep uphill on the way back. It was exceptionally clean and had every amenity we needed, the view from the balcony was superb and made an ideal place to eat breakfast in the morning and enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the sunset in the evening. Nice clean apartment. Room no 5, first floor with balcony view over town. Town is reached by a steep 10 minute walk, so we came back fitter than we went. There is a very nice walk along the coast which starts just across the road from the apartments. Not to be missed if you enjoy walking.

Kjempe fornøyd med oppholdet! Vi er en familie på 3. Antun var en koselig og snill vert. Hentet og kjørte oss tilbake til flyplassen. Skal gjøre alt han kan for å føle oss velkommen. Rommet var rent! :) Cavtat er en romantisk liten by. Anbefales å reise på ferie!

Situé sur les hauteurs de Cavtat, à 16 km de Dubrovnik, cet appart hotel allie à la fois les services d'un petit hotel et la fonctionnalité d'un appartement: petite terrasse ou balcon, petite cuisine, frigo, possibilité de faire laver son linge, linges de lit et de toilette changés quasi tous les jours. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et serviables: […] viennent vous chercher et vous ramènent à l'aéroport pour 20€ A/R, vous mettent en contact avec un loueur de scooter ou de voiture, et sont toujours prêts à rendre service ou répondre aux questions Le port peut être rejoint en 5 min à pied et une supérette est située à 100 metres de l'appart. Pour rejoindre Dubrovnik, un bus direct passe toutes les 30 min juste en face de l'hotel. Sinon le bateau depuis le port. Seul tout petit bémol, la proximité de l'aéroport (à 3 km de Cavtat) mais la nuit pas de vol donc pas de bruit d'avion. Peut gêner ceux qui resteraient toute la journée à l 'hotel Read more

Appartement propre, agréable,calme, situé sur le haut de Cavtat à 5 mins à pied de la mer et du centre. Très bonne disponibilité du responsable. Au niveau des prestations: ménage et changement de draps et serviettes quotidiens. Pas de possibilité de prendre de repas , ni de petit-dejeuner, pas de salle commune, ni d'animations.

ulempe::selv om der kun er 10 minutters gang til centrum,kan vejen hjem til apertmrents Bacan være ret anstrengende,da man skal ret stejlt opad bakke.Ejeren meget hjælpspm.Arrangere kørsel fra og til lufthavnen,de ligger 5 km fra Cavtat. Der er kaffemaskine,brødrister og servicwe+bestik. En lille fast food lige på den anden side af vejen.
