Really good value for money hotel with a very good breakfast to start your day. Full marks to the staff all very friendly and extremely helpful. If you are a party of 3 adults or a family of 2 adults with 2 young children the rooms with the sofa bed offer added value in that there is no need to hire a second room. There is a McDonalds ,BP and Marks […] & Spencer next door to the hotel plus there is no charge for the hotel parking. Newbury station is approx a 5 min walk from the hotel and is located on the Central Line placing Stratford shopping centre within 15 min and central London 50min. The only negative is the time it takes you to Central London and if there is a rail strike or a line upgrade that really complicates everything. There is a Banqueting hall located across the road which tends to get noisy but nothing unbearable. Stay there again without a doubt. Read more

Great place, very clean, and courteous front desk. The location is far from Heathrow and it takes a full 1.5hours to get from Heathrow to the hotel by the tube (not heathrow express) and costs one way about 7 GBP. We totally enjoyed staying here and having a very nutritous breakfast every morning . To central london from the hotel will take you 30 mins. […] Very conveniently located on the central line, but you will still need to purchase a zone 1 thru 4 ticket or oyster card. Oyster card comes to about 8 GBP per day for 4 zones and you can buy it for 7 days and keep adding to the card. Very good service on the tube. If you plan on visiting central london on the weekends (Sat and SUn), please be aware that the tube may be shut down on many lines, you can still take the rail replacement buses but it can take more time than you think. Lot of maintenance work on the tube due to upcoming Olympic games. This hotel is fairly close to the new Olympic stadium as well. If you are going to arrive early, call the hotel and let them know. They were courteous enough to give me a room at 10am although check in was 2pm. That helped me with catching with my sleep and then go to town that same day. Hotel is 30 minutes from central london via UNDERGROUND, but station is 1-2 blocks (3 minutes walking). Clean, good free breakfast, and you never will find this price for a central london hotel. If you are not in a hurry I recomend this one. You will walk 3 minutes and you are on the underground to visit all london.

Everything was OK, very clean hotel, good value for money, the only downside is the distance to central London, but we knew that when we booked it. Maybe the only downside is breakfast and dinner, not very good, and for dinner you have to order at the reception and take your drinks to the table by yourself - not really good service.

The hotel was in a good location close to the underground, the room and hotel are well maintained however the only down side was that the room temperature was set at 18 when I arrived I put the heat on and by 9am the next morning it had just got up to 20.5 it was far too cold.

we had a good stay here for 2 nights. Easy enough to get in on the tube and the station is only a few minutes walk away. We booked last minute so not a cheap option and I thought it was a lot for a hotel as far out as it is. No bath only a shower too. We utilised this hotel twice during our vacation. It is easy to locate, has plenty of good car parking, is just a short walk from the London Underground system and 30 minutes into the city. Arrived at the hotel and parked in the car park (£1 per day parking charge). The room was clean and well laid out but the TV was a bit of a nightmare to operate (nnedlessly complicated and poor picture). Traveled around london by tube all weekend, which was only a 5 minute walk from the hotel and well served despite being at the end of the central […] line. Our only complaints were that the restaurant is not big enough which led to us being very uncerimoniously ejected from our table as soon as we finished eating. The carpark is not clear. The implication is that you have to pay and display taking a ticket from the machine where as your parking charges are actually added to your bill. And the bigest complaint is that this hotel allows smoking it its rooms which means that when you exit the lift you are met with a haze of stale ciggaret smoke. Unfortunately we were actually allocated a smoking room and consiquently all our clothes smelt of ciggaret smoke when we went home! No one mentioned smoking to us when we checked in so if you really don't like the smell of tobacco smoke, you need to be aware of this when you book/check in. Read more

Wir waren mit der Hotelwahl sehr zufrieden. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt und alle Handtücher gewechselt. Die Lage zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist perfekt und die Fahrt in Londons-City unproblematisch.

Das Hotel liegt außerhalb der Stadt und ist mit der Tube in ca. 35 Minuten zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind sehr zweckmäßig ausgestattet, die Couch im Zimmer, die uns als drittes Bett angeboten wurde, war so defekt, dass eine Übernachtung darauf unmöglich war. Zudem war bei ausgezogenem Sofa kein Platz mehr im Zimmer. Für 3 Personen ist dieses Zimmer absolut […] ungeeignet. Eine Übernachtung bei geöffnetem Fenster war nicht möglich, da das Hotel direkt an einer viel befahrenen Straße liegt und es im Zimmer sehr laut war. Die Schallschutzfenster erfüllten ihren Dienst weitgehend. Wer jedoch eine günstige Übernachtung in London sucht, ist hier recht gut aufgehoben, wenn er den langen Anfahrtsweg in die City und den Lärm (auch auf den Hotelgängen) in Kauf nimmt. Ich würde das nächste Mal lieber etwas mehr Geld investieren und näher zur Innenstadt übernachten. Das Frühstück war wenig appetitlich. Das Rührei war aus Pulver hergestellt und das Angebot war mangelhaft. Allerdings habe ich hier für England wenig Vergleichsmöglichkeiten. Read more

Wunderschönes etwas außerhald von der Innenstadt gelegendes Hotel. Dies haben wir nicht als besonders schlimm empfunden, weil die nächste Tube nur ca. 200m entfernt war und man in ca. 30 min (immer sitzend) in der Innenstadt ist. Das Hotel machte einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck und das Personal war sehr Hilfsbereit und hatte keine Verständigunsprobleme […] mit unserem vor 35 jahren erlernten und seit dem nicht mehr gesprochenen Englisch. Das Hotel ist toll! Zimmer, Sauberkeit, Sicherheit (Nur mit Zimmer-Chipkarte kann man den Fahrstuhl bentzen), Badezimmer alles prima! Aber es ist viel zu weit außerhalb der Stadt. Man zahlt viel Geld für Transfer und U-Bahn.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön, sauber und ruhig. Wir (meine erwachsene Tochter und ich) waren sehr zufrieden. Das Frühstück war völlig ausreichend. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass das Hotel etwas außerhalb liegt, aber die Anbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel ist sehr gut. Wenn wir wieder in London sind, werden wir gerne dort übernachten.
