Hotel location and staff are good. Breakfast is good too. Easy access to beach and large pools are pleasing. Quality of room is quite poor. Beds, TV and room size were disappointing. They need to refurbish their rooms. Also, hotel restaurant closes at 9.30PM and they don't have room service thereafter which was highly inconvenient.

Loved that we could just step outside our hotel and be on the beach within minutes. The stretch of Barrosa beach had few people on it and was clean. We spent hours walking on the beach and enjoyed being able to go back and forth between our room and the beach. Internet access is by pay-for-use and only available in the lobby near the bar. The buffet […] (the only restaurant open on site during 'off' season) was pretty good for the price and had a good selection. We were slightly confused by the pricing (half board, full board etc) and a bit disappointed by the wait staff. Once they determined how you were going to pay and got you your drinks, never saw them again to get more drinks or other assistance. The pool area was clean and well kept. There were showers in the pool area to rinse off and plenty of chairs. It seems the majority of the rooms have a view of the ocean as the balconies turn towards the ocean. I felt like I was being ripped off almost immediately. The main pool was closed, and we were not told at check in. There were SO many hidden costs--was very sneaky and left a horrible taste in my mouth. For example, they required a 10 euro deposit for EACH beach towel. I´ve never heard of this at any hotel. To use wifi, it was 20 euro for a week. The […] only ¨free¨wifi was at the bar for a HALF hour once during your entire stay. We had never done a half board before, and so at dinner, we asked if wine came with our meal. We were distinctly told YES by our waitress. Then at check out, it turned out that wine did NOT come with it. We were charged an absurd amount, and had we known it would cost that much we would surely not have ordered two bottles of wine!! Our mattresses were also hard as ROCKS. The only good thing was the location. Literally right next to a very lovely beach, and the swimming pool (that was open) was gorgeous. Only stayed BB but breakfast was more than adequate with a wide choice. Hotel getting a little tired and the rooms could do with a bit of a re-vamp. First ground floor room we were given was was dark and dismal but after a stressing our dislike of this room on first viewing reception eventually gave us, if somewhat reluctantly, a higher floor room which […] was somewhat brighter . The beach is fantastic . The hotel is situated directly opposite a golf course but the nearby commercial centre had little to offer. Only 3 restaurants, one of which only open on the weekend, the other main one freezing cold. The main stretch of restaurants along Barrosa was a 25 minute walk away ( a very cold one in the 1st week of March...no-one's fault obviously !). The hotel asks 10 Euro deposit for a pool towel...quite unnecessary I feel. Generally a lovely area and nice hotel but a car is essential to enjoy it at it's best. Read more

This is undoubtedly one of the best hotels i've ever stayed in. I don't know where to start - everything was just so good! The building is grand, the decor stylish yet comfortable, the staff were so very attentive and friendly, all of this rubs off on the guests too, there was always a nice buzz in the atmosphere, you can just tell that everyone feels […] relaxed in style and comfort here. There is a shop onsite, the bar is open whenever you need, nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast buffet was the best selection i've ever seen and you want for nothing! You can walk from the hotel for just a couple of minutes on a lovely path to La Barrosa beach. I only booked a basic room but it was very clean and comfortable and had a balcony. When my room was made up, little chocolates were left on my pillow - a lovely touch. If you are unfortunate to miss the excellent dining, you can even phone a a local pizza company that delivers straight to your room. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will return purely to to enjoy this hotel again! The only tiny thing I could possible ask to be improved was that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but overall I cannot believe how fortuate I was to stay here. I kept expecting someone to tell me that there had been a mistake as the experience was so much grander than the price - but no, I had to pinch myself to check I was not dreaming as it was such an amazing stay. By far the best hotel we have stayed in in Sancti Pectri. The staff were extremely friendly and although the hotel was full to capacity, the pool area and restaurant were suprising quiet. The quality of the buffet food was outstanding!!!!!!

Vi skulle noen dager til Cadiz med bil og valgte hotellet for overnatting. Bra beliggenhet, golfbaner rett ved hotellet. Super strand.FLott bassengområde. Bueno: Grande y bonito. Malo: Moqueta muy sucia y sin evidencia de haber limpiado con aspiradora, ya que encontré una carta debajo de la mesilla de noche del cliente anterior (espero). La máquina del aire no calentaba, Asi que pasamos frío. El interruptor metálico de una bombilla que capital cuarto de baño, daba una pequeña descarga y dejaba la bombilla […] encendida. Se arregló sólo tras unas horas. A las 2 de la mañana tuve que llamar al recepcionista porque era imposible pegar ojo por el ruido que había (de fiesta de jóvenes) en la habitación de arriba. El recepcionista me contesta muy malamente diciendo que inmediatamente alguien irá inmediatamente... Y no se sí fue porque el ruido continuó casi una hora más, Asi que no pude apenas descansar. El hotel está muy bien. Hemos ido en diciembre y nos ha hecho un tiempo sensacional. Las pisicnas, el spa y el gimnasio son estupendos. Sin embargo lo mejor del hotel es su personal. El del restaurante es magnífico, muy atentos y amables. El desayuno muy variado, incluso ha habido días con cava y fresas. Por no hablar de la exagerada variedad de platos […] calientes, hechos en el momento, bollería, zumos, quesos, fiambres.... Wir mussten das Zimmer 3mal wechseln, da sie sehr schmutzig waren (Flecken auf Teppich und in Bad, Ameisen im Zimmer, Rauchgestank, nicht geputzt). Der Service an der Reception war total ungenügend, kein Entgegenkommen. Darauf entschieden wir uns, das Hotel zu verlassen. Der Komplex ist sehr alt und wurde nie renoviert. Lage ist ok.

La situación es inmejorable, a pie de playa con el chiringuito del hotel, donde se come bastante bien y economico. El desayuno es abundante, y con dos planchas realizando comida caliente, no echas de menos nada. La animación, continua, y el personal muy amable. Limpieza continua.
