Right off highway but hard to find after dark because sign did not light up. No elevator so they gave us a handicap room on main floor. Loved the shower! Great pressure & a hand held nozzle. Good pillows & beds. Breakfast was wonderful! Pool was very nice & had late hours for adults only. Overall - Very nice place to stay!

The room was pretty good. There was a smoke smell even though it was a non-smoking area however I know that can't be blamed on the hotel staff. There... could've been more towels in the room as it seemed that there was less than usual. One of the locks on the door was broken but was repaired once I let the front desk know. For the price you pay it was a good room which fit the needs we were looking for. We have stayed here many times before and plan to again. by Mike from Iowa on 05/31/13

For a town that has 0 tourist attraction, the facilities at this hotel sucked big time !! Put my parents up for 4 nights as this hotel was almost next door to my home but this was a huge mistake. This place has nothing and I mean nothing!! The beds are extra uncomfortable, the AC was weird and the Bathroom would not close !! Add to that the fact that […] breakfast would run-out by 9 even though the closing time is 10 and here's the funny part they don't re-stock the food. The juice machine and coffee machine at the breakfast room was broken for a day and when I asked for juice the manager was very kind and brought me back a glass full of nutritious water !!! That's right folks WATER (H20) !! The hotel doesn't even have a weighing scale and the laundry room is locked for guest access but your key-cards will not work (God knows why)!! I am very pleased to say that the location was very convenient. I was there for the move-in period just before my daugther's start at ISU as a freshman and it was so close to everything! The stay wasn't horrible except for a shower faucet that needed to be replaced. Hotel staff was aware of it on my first night but didn't replace it before my final night. If this had been done, it would have been a satisfactory stay, but....

What ever happened to customer service? We arrived into town early and asked for early check in. Owner was rude. Insisted no one can check in early. When we left to go to neighboring restaurant, housekeepers were sitting outside smoking and using foul language. (Not impressive) When we returned two hours later, housekeepers still outside smoking. Everything about the room was OK, except for the bathroom. The shower curtain had two large holes in it, which caused a mess on the floor and the shower rod was almost falling off the wall. The lobby is very small when you enter. The staff wasn't very friendly. There was a stale, musky smell in the hallway which was strong. It dissipates upon entering the room. The continental breakfast was a little disappointing, but not horrible by any means. Small dining area, crowded counter area and limited choices. The hotel was clean, but was a bit high priced.
