Overall, I enjoyed my recent stay at the Colomba Hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located two blocks from the Duomo and Academy Gallery. It is a family-run business and the family does take great pride in their hotel. My room (#7) was located right off the kitchen, so it was slightly noisy in the morning, but this really didn't bother me much. Otherwise, the room was quite spacious for a European hotel. At night, the family was usually eating dinner and watching TV in the kitchen area (they live upstairs, I believe), so it felt a little weird walking thru there in the evening. But with that said, I'd definitly stay here again as the hotel was well-run, clean, and very convenient.

The location is very convenience and close to all attractions. breakfast is great.only one thing is the WIFI is not free, unlike the Best western Olimpia in Venice where WIFI is free.

The hotel is in an amazing place; close to all the actions. The room and everything was in perfect condition. Staff very helpful, courteous and friendly. The breakfast was good but it did not include eggs and omelette; those were extra charges.

Accomodations and location were terrific. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They even helped us with a car issue.

For a really last minute trip to Florence, this B&B was very accommodating, I booked only one night and decided to stay an extra and they were able to keep me in the same room and did not get upset for such last minute request. really close to the termini S.M Novella and like 10 minutes from the Main plaza with the Dome and all the transportation. The room was very clean and very nice for a B&B.
Location.
Located in Florence (Santa Maria Novella), Residenza Il Maggio is close to Teatro Comunale di Firenze, Church of Santa Maria Novella, and Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. Also nearby are Uffizi Palace and Statue of David.

Very good hotel. It is conveniently located close to the river banks and you can get to almost anywhere in Florence very easily. Our room was very clean and the staff was very friendly.

"Hotel il Maggio di Firenze"
Hotel in posizione molto tranquilla, permette di raggiungere facilmente (al massimo 15 minuti a piedi) le molte attrazioni che la città di Firenze offre.

"Não tem estacionamento."
Qdo vc chega no hotel e entrada por ser fechado cheira muito mofo e o pior desses hoteis em Florença é que diz que tem estacionamento c/sobretaxa mas na verdade nem tem e tem que deixar na rua c/ parcometro fica muito caro.Mas a dona é muito simpatica.

Recomendo, tudo muito bom, localização, quarto bom, limpo, espaçoso, internet excelente, bom café da manhã, atendimento nota 10, o único problema é estacionamento, nem tem perto do hotel nem com taxa extra.

Gå afstand fra stationen Bag det amerikanske konsulat med lukkede veje. Flink engelsktalende albaner i reception. Nogle værelser er uden vinduer. Morgenmad uden ost og pølse.

Buen hotel con una excelente ubicación
"Piccolo ma accogliente"
È un piccolo B&B a gestione famigliare, la stanza e il bagno erano spaziose. Camera pulita, personale cordiale e disponibile. Il quartiere è residenziale, ci sono alberghi e uffici, pochi negozi. Facilmente raggiungibile dall'autostrada (in pratica sempre dritto), è all'interno della zona a traffico limitato, il parcheggio in Piazza Vittorio Veneto […] è caro (agosto 2011), perché è pensato per soste brevi. Si consiglia di andare in treno, altrimenti per la macchina è possibile avere indicazioni dal proprietario.. A piedi sul lungarno sono 15 min dal ponte vecchio e 10 min dalla stazione, 20 da Santa Maria del Fiore (duomo). È possibile prendere anche la nuova tramvia a 5 min a piedi dall'albergo e arrivare alla stazione di Santa Maria Novella e poi da lì in centro, oppure viceversa se si arriva con le valige può essere comoda per raggiungere l'albergo. Colazione buona, aria condizionata, free wireless. Avevamo necessità di doppie chiavi e ci sono venuti in contro. Unico neo: due rampe di scale per accedere e il personale non sempre presente. Это не отель, а Bed & Breakfast. Находится на втором этаже обычного дома, в бывшей квартире (типа наших коммуналок). Дом без лифта, швейцара, конечно, нет, так что надрываться с багажом будете сами. Если приезжаете поздно вечером или рано утром - вас никто не встретит, ключ будет вас ждать рядом с уличным звонком. Из 6 номеров только 2 с окном. Остальные […] - почти как чулан из "Буратино". поэтому очень душно. Чуланы эти - чистые и с хорошей мебелью. Полотенца меняют. Завтрак - маленький буфет, без горячего. К тостеру надо приноровиться - он пережаривает хлеб. Капучино не ахти какой. Нам, двум девушкам, дали кровать кингсайз. Пришлось почти документально доказывать, что мы гетеросексуалы и нам нужны 2 кровати, а не одна. в наш номер потом заселили трех японок - на одну кингсайз ))))). Есть беспроводной интернет. До центра идти 15-20 минут, по набережной с красивыми видами. Напротив этого пристанища - городской оперный театр, если повезет - лицезреете, как мы, президента Италии и его жену со всей свитой. Стоит для своего уровня дороговато. Во всяком случае, в соседних таких же пансионах все то же самое дешевле на 15-20 процентов. Но, в общем, жить можно. Мы - это телегруппа телеканала Россия - жили больше недели. И потом даже как-то привыкли ))). Но в отпуск в такой номер я бы не поехала, однозначно. Read more

"Dejligt lille fem-værelses hotel"
Hotellet passede perfekt til vores behov. Billigt, rent og tæt på centrum. Der udover kom en rar vært, internet og gratis morgenmad. Eneste minus var at vores tredje opredning var en drømmeseng der var rigeligt blød. SPØRG EFTER VÆRELSE MED VINDUE - da ikke alle værelserne har det.

"Zentral sauber freundlich günstig"
Waren für zwei Nächte dort. Das Hotel ist zentral, gegenüber der Oper. Parken ist dort schwierig - nur auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz ca. fünfhundert Meter Entfernung möglich. Zu Fuß ist von dort alles super erreichbar. Das Hotel ist in einem Wohnhaus untergebracht und umfasst nur wenig Zimmer. Würde dort auf jeden Fall wider einchecken.

Un ancien appartement bourgeois transformé en chambres d'hôtes. Beaucoup de charme. Très bon rapport qualité - prix lors de notre passage
"Excellent B and B"
Très bon accueil- Chambres propres, spacieuses, agréablement décorées avec goût et sobriété. Quartier très calme à 15 minutes à pieds du Ponte Vecchio. Parking dans la rue avec le consulat US à côté : bien gardé. Hôte agréable, parlant Français, faisant tout pour votre bien être. Exceptionnel.
