America's Best Inn recently had a change in management, and while they seem to still be working out the kinks, we were extremely satisfied with our... experience there. The building itself could use a little work, but the room was clean and housekeeping was attentive. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and the gentleman at the reception desk (who I assumed is the new manager/owner) was very friendly. Located about 15 minutes away from downtown AC and very near some exciting restaurants. If you don't have every day of your trip planned, come armed with ideas or a smart phone, because they don't have any pamphlets or welcome brochures in the lobby or rooms. It wasn't clean. The wall paper was falling off. It was nasty smelling. Toilet paper was not changed appeared old. And in addition the bed was old and there was hair on it. I decided to check out early and go to cleaner hotel. The lobby stunk to high heaven

It definitely wasn't the best hotel I've stayed at, but for the price (very cheap) it did the job and is very close to Atlantic City. I loved the drive into the city at night when it was all lit up.

There were some concerns about the room and some disappointments overall. Free Breakfast advertised....but there wasn't any on "certain days" not even coffee. Not expecting more than continental but nothing when advertised? Also, there appeared to be either a soiled molding board or possibly worse at the bottom of the cabinet with the sink. Also in […] the left outside front of the tub...a spot that didn't look very good. If it's only dirt or soiled....I would suggest cleaning up and painting it so it doesn't appear to be something worse! My stay was 2 nites....the morning after the first night, they did not make up the bed or clean. Only left towels. Strange situation. The front desk person was very hard to understand and not very friendly or helpful. Would not stay there again since I have stayed at other hotels in the area much better at the same price range. I signed on for non smoking and was given a smoking room did not sleep very wel due the the smell, cloth in suit cases smelled of smoke the next day as well

This is the worst hotel I have ever visited in my life. I opted non smoking room-But the carpets were stinking big time, toilets were not at all clean, Towels were utter dirty. I strongly recommend never ever visit this hotel

We had a room with a jacuzzi but it could barely fit 2 people in it. The location was convenient to Atlantic City and the price was good. Overall we were satisfied.

The customer service was almost nonexistent. Housekeeping only if personally tracked down. No extra anything or: blankets, pillows. Very disappointting.
