i rarely write reviews, but this place deserves a good one. The place is real value for Siem Reap , and away from the big hotels strip ( it's very near the river)i've paid much more in similar hotels in s.e.a.. Great massage, top quality bathroom, pleasant location . wish I could have stayed longer , but was on business so it could only be one night. Best hotel of my trip so far , and hard to beat at the price.

Myself and two friends stayed in th Hotel Somadevi for 2 nights. We were welcomed with a delicious fruit smoothy and the check in was seamless. Our room was very comfortable and 3 of us fitted with ease. The hotel is off the main road and is 5 mins ina Tuk Tuk from the hustle and bstle of Pub Street. The hotel constatnly has Tuk Tuks outside so you are never stuck for transport. The Buffet Breakfast was brilliant. It had every type of food you can think of. The pool was lovely and the bar staff were very accomodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travellers going to Siem Reap.

The kazna Hotel is very unique, it's not just a hotel its a family gathering which the guest is made feel a member of. The hotel is made entirely of wood and it looks just beautiful. When you arrive you are asked to remove your foot wear and are given a welcome drink. The management and staff are so friendly and helpful you really do feel like one of the family. the breakfast is eaten in either your room or on the top floor, a magnificent space to view the new day and like all breakfasts in S E Asia they cater for both Asian and Western tastes and this means an emphasis on eggs. The food needs to be ordered the night before off a menue.This hotel lacks a pool but the welcome and pampering the staff and management give there guests soon knocks all thoughts of a pool from your head. This is a great family run hotel that we will have fond memories of and when we left we were given the most beautiful departing gifts. We would stay in the Kazna if we returned to Siem Reap.

I extremely enjoyed my 12 day stay at Central Boutique Angkor Hotel in Siem Reap. Nice room, nice swimming pool,good food and a very kind and helpful staff. It is also walking distance to the Old Market area. I would definitely stay there again!

Stayed for a week to visit Angkor wat which is next to the hotel. Great hotel.Looked after me very well. Great place to stay and fantastic place to visit.

Down Town contains restaurants, bars, open night market. Hotel is also very close to National museum. Very plesant stay in nice hotel.

We had a very pleasant experience at Tara Angkor. The service was very good, rooms cleaned everyday and tidied up every evening. Breakfast offered had a good variety. Very convieniently located. Staff was very helpful and courteous.

Very nice staff. Very nice room. I recommend getting rooms that face the courtyard as my friends who faced out (don't know which side) complained of a barking dog in the middle of the night. I liked that the hotel had a business center area and Wifi. The breakfast buffet was extensive and good. The hotel is a $2 tuk-tuk ride from the middle of town. Very satisfied. Definitely value for money. The hotel and its amenities were beyond my expectation. If i were to return to Siem Reap, i would stay in Tara Angkor again. I loved how it was pretty tranquil in the day when most guests were out touring the town and the courtyard dining was a pleasant experience. Enjoyed the stay at Tara Anchor Hotel. We ate at this hotel most of the time and the food was great, prepared with care and the price was reasonable too ! We had a very pleasant 4 days here. Staff very pleasant and dealt with any requests immediately. The pool area is clean and pool a nice size. It was quiet during the day when the coach tours were out of the hotel. Breakfast was average with both Asian and Western hot buffet as well as an omelette station. Downside were tour groups could dominate the […] lobby and breakfast but I expect this is similar to other hotels The only criticism would be the concierge desk where we only saw the concierge once - she was new in post so we didnt get any adivice except from reception staff which was limited. We ate 2 nights at Abacus which was expensive by Cambodian standards but food was good the crab salad starter was excellent. Be careful if going to see Angkor Wat sunrise as the steps are very steep. From the moment we walked into the lobby area and smelt the Lemongrass we knew we had picked the right hotel. The rooms were very large, clean and comfortable. Nice restaurants, bar, swimming pool and a great fitness room. Throw in the fact that the staff are very nice and friendly and it really made a great stay for us. Great location closer to the temples and only about 2km from the town. I couldn't get over how kind the staff were and people in general were in Siem Reap. They really made my entire stay wonderful and memorable. Their buffet breakfast is a great start for a long day of hiking in the temples. During September flood there was no flooding next to this […] hotel; many hotels in the town were flooded. Though after a while I didn't mind the flood but still it was nice to walk in/out with dry feet. They lend bikes which I liked. The little souvenir shop in the lobby had nice items and good prices. The foot massage included in my rate was really great. I also ordered thai-massage which I wasn't as impressed with. Only thing that was a little odd was that with my hotel booking I was confirmed to a free airport shuttle. This hotel is a bit far from the action of pub street but actually that's a good thing - it's only a 5 minute tuk tuk ride (usually $2) to get into town and that means it is in a quiet area away from the pub noise. A great hotel with a luxurious pool that you can return to after seeing the temples. Wonderful breakfast and excellent standard of room and breakfast. Service of the staff cannot be faulted.

Overall stay is OK but remember to put some money (abt 1US$) to ensure they change your bedsheet! The dinner in the hotel suzks. Suggest you take a tuktuk to the city for dinner.

"Great service"
I stayed at the Tara Angkor for four nights and was very happy with the quality of the room and service. Although the hotel restaurant was nothing special. Sokhy who works at the bar is really friendly and is the best cocktail maker!

We had two rooms both well equiped and clean, just a shame they werent next to each other but then the hotel was quite busy. Reception was good friendly staff and very attentive. Breakfast was lovely lots of choice and plenty to go around, buffet style so you could have as much as you wanted. Pool was nice to relax in after a day sight seeing.
"Tara Angkor Hotel - nice hotel in cambodia"
The hotel was quite near to Angkor Wat and the old market. We only had to take a tu-tu which is their 3 wheeled motorcycle to all the places. We had a friendly driver whom drove us around to places. The hotel was clean and pleasant and the staffs were very friendly. The complimentary foot massage was great!

Beautiful hotel and polite and helpful staff. You can't beat the price, it's a bargain for a 4 star hotel. Great breakfast buffet selection and spa. Rooms were very clean, it was better than I imagined. The hotel is nicer than the pictures! There is a supermarket nearby literally 3 minutes by foot. I do recommend making dinner reservations at Koulen […] 2 restaurant for an Apsara dance performance. It's a must see. You can ask the staff and they will help you. It's $2 by tuk tuk one way to get to the restaurant. Will definitely stay at Tara again next time! Read more

This hotel is simply put just superb, only a little pricey but you get what you pay for. My only regret is that I didn't stay there longer. The rooms are very nice, clean and tidy. Crew good at English and helpful. Location awesome for temple excursions, and just a 10-minute walk to the center of Siem Reap.

This is a beautiful hotel with amazing standards and service for the price. Our room was large and well-equipped with an excellent house-keeping service. Our rate […] included a half hour foot massage (we returned to the spa for treatments later in our stay as it was a very pleasant area and well price although the spa staff did not speak a lot of English) and free transfers to and from the Airport. Although the hotel is located a little bit out of town (conveniently on the way to Angkor Wat) it is only a $2 tuk tuk ride each way - and tuk tuk rides are an important part of the Siem Reap experience. The hotel is very nice and elegant. Staff very friendly, good knowledge of english. We appreciate the free shuttle to the airport. Only one not too nice remark: the swimming pool floor was not clean, and the pool's water did not smell too good.

We were a group of 8 persons staying 3 nights at Tara Angkor Hotel. It was located between the Town proper and the Angkor Wat temples area, so it was convenient to get back to the hotel to escape the afternoon heat after lunch. this was an excellent hotel-buffet was vast and tasty. staff were friendly. massages were 30% discount. get the tuk tuk driver direct from the back of the hotel so that they get the money directly. they are very friendly drivers and very efficient. this is one of the best hotels i have stayed in and the best in asia so far. amazing.

We loved this hotel. It ticked all the boxes...clean, comfortable and convenient for visiting the wonderful temples. Also only a short tuc tuc ride from the town ($2ish). Staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were lovely, and the pool was a refreshing relief after a long day visiting the temples. Good selection at breakfast, and they'll also do […] you a packed breakfast box if you want to do the sunrise at Angkor Wat (def recommend this as the temples are much quieter if you start your visits straight after the sun comes up).
