Enjoyed my stay at this Hotel it is very close to all local amenities, this hotel is very close to the M74 motor with easy access, there are lots of restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance you name its in the area good location with friendly staff a class above other hotels in the area.

Overall the 2 night stay was good but just disappointed as to the lack of storage space in the room. As we had a wedding to attend and it was nigh on impossible to hang the outfits up in preparation for the event. But I must say we really enjoyed the breakfast excellent choice of varied items to choose from.

We stayed here for three nights whilst visiting friends and family and attending a wedding party. Was perfect for us as ideally located close to Motherwell and easy to get to Glasgow. We commuted from here to Edinburgh and Glasgow easily. Parking is a pain. You have to use the supermarket carpark. Cheap enough. Good value.

Overall I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. We were in a family room. Beds were comfortable and all very clean. Staff were pleasant and helpful and the complimentary breakfast was great with a fab selection. Ideal place to stay for shopping in Hamilton and the surrounding areas. We will definitely be using Holiday Inn Express again!

Close to where we wanted to be. McD's, Edinburgh Zoo and on the road to Blackpool.Carpark handy. Room clean and tidied every day. Could have done with extra pillows. Staff polite and helpfull. Breakfast a little poor, no bacon. All in all very happy with our stay.

Good location for business trip overnight stop. Hotel meets the expected standrads of the Holiday Inn Express brand and reception staff very welcoming and helpful. Range of evening food very limited, and given location if without a car, this is something to think about in advance

An excellent hotel, not too hard to find from the railway station once i'd ignored the directions from the station staff. Close to the main roads, motorway and very accessable. The staff on the front desk were helpful and polite at all times, the room was fresh, clean and spacious an altogether pleasant stay. Once i found NOT to head back into the town […] area from where i'd walked, and to actually turn around the rear of the hotel for my shopping, tea and other bits i was extremely happy. The town of Hamilton itself leaves a LOT to be desired, be sure to have a pound or two in your pocket to visit one or two of the pound shops that litter the area, however around the back of the hotel it appeared to be a regenerated area with glass fronted shops and offices, a large Asda and a well known chain of Pizza restaurant. I would definitely stay at the hotel again, they let me check in at my convenience on arrival, gave me local directions, had everything required within the room and breakfast was prompt and warm on my descent in the morning. Nice clean hotel just off the motorway junction, though I couldnt hear the traffic at all. Next door to Vue cinema, Asda 24 hr store and some other shops. Very convenient. Friendly staff.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this property, and I can honestly say the staff here make the whole experience perfect. Both times they have been spot-on. They are relaxed, friendly, remember small details & nothing is a problem. There is free WiFi in the whole public areas downstairs. If you're driving then you get free parking if you tell them […] your registration number, so just park in the big cinema car park right beside (in front of Next) not in the pay & display car park. Breakfast is inc as standard - there's a decent selection to help yourself to. Dinner & bar snacks choice are plentiful, and they've even rustled up some bacon butties late at night when the kitchen is closed but we clearly looked like we needed some sustenance. They're also happy for you to get readymeals from the big ASDA next door or have food delivered from local takeaways. There are a few other hotels in the area which have more stars/premium chain/more facilities however I would never consider any of them given the product offered & the quality of service at this particular hotel. Excellent value for money, we stayed 2 adults & 2 children for one night while attending a friends family. The price we got with a fantastic buffet breakfast made it a really affordable weekend. Hotel was very clean & tidy. if being picking we looked on to a nightclub which was noisy (friday night)

The hotel is on the corner of a retail park which provides easy access to some restaurants, shops and a large supermarket. It is also very near to the centre of Hamilton and in a convenient location for travel by car into Glasgow. The staff were friendly and the service was efficient. We were travelling with our two children aged 7 & 6. The family room was clean and comfortable. The TV chanels were a bit restrictive with only a few Freeview chanels. The bedroom was quite hot so we had the window open most of the time. It was quite noisy due to the location, but it didn't bother us that much. It was easy to get to the train station […] on foot, and we used the train to get into Glasgow City Center, which was very cheap for 2 adults & 2 children returns. We booked this hotel as it was apparently a new building, and while not many reviews on Expedia, they were favourable. I would not recommend this hotel. 1. Rude/indifferent staff - the girl at check-in, no "hello", "good-bye" etc, just "how will you pay, here's your key". The same again for check-out, except that the 3 staff ,apparently including […] the manager, didn't want to take our details and preferred to carry on their conversation. 2. No facilities in the rooms - for a new hotel, we had a TV from the 80's, no A/C, a window that hardly opened, super expensive internet (when I called to ask how to connect etc, as there was no information in the room about this, reception didn't answer my q's, just continued to refer me to the TV service, which clearly I couldn't operate - thanks for the help). 3. When we rang to ask for towels (there weren't enough for us in the room), reception helpfully suggested they were available for pick up at the desk. 4. Breakfast is very average to say the least. Don't bother - go across to the supermarket or find a cafe. 5. Terrible beds. Key point to my rating - the service just ruined our experience there.
