Great hot breakfast, the room was very reasonably priced and the two large beds were very comfortable. Temperature control was great (it was really hot outside) and the room was large. Will definitely stay there agin if I return.

my families stay was very nice. the staff was very helpful with us since we arrived about two hours early.They had to get two rooms ready for six people. we allsaid that we would come back and stay at your hotel again. Thank you very much for all the help and Please pass our thanks along to everyone.

The hotel was great! The only issue we had was that the bathroom was a lot warmer than the bedroom area. Also, the hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere. It was actually a bit out of our way. We were in town for a funeral and the staff at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Portland, IN were fantastic. They even offered to give us a discounted bereavement rate. Unfortunately, because we booked and prepaid through a third party, and not directly with them, they were unable to adjust our bill. I also found out that the "Price Match Guarantee" […] offered by the third party, doesn't cover discounted rates offered by the hotels. My recommendation...you're better off calling the hotel first, before booking through sites like hotels.com, where customer service could be sacrificed for profit. Read more

overall it was a god hotel with good service. tA bit over priced for the location. the ice machines only worked on the first floor and i was on the third, and would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room since they are suppose to be suites. But the staff was nice and helpful and overall a nice hotel. Had a nice stay and would go back.
