Breakfast was very enjoyable. Hotel was close to all parks and Best Friends Sanctuary. Pool area floor was too slippery. Pool was nice, but small. Had to share the pool for a brief time with an excercising class. Room and beds were comfortable. For a hotel that was booked full everything was very organized.

Exceeded expectations with very large and lovely room. Service was consistently strong. Good selections for breakfast, (Soy milk and margarine on request would have been good additions.) Western decor could be fun and certainly on target for the area. Cowboys and Indians rug and rodeo upholstery, make light of the horrid treatment of Native Americans […] and cruelty to animals. The latter is especially strange, since Kanab is home to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, a very large humane organization that attracts many visitors to town. Hope management will look for opportunities to swap out the decor as soon as practical so that it matches the wonderful quality of all other aspects of this hotel. Read more

Overall the rooms we had were very clean. My husband and I loved the firmness of the mattress. One odd thing was the odor of the rooms. They smelled musty, almost moldy. I loved every minute of it. We have two small children so they gave us a crib. We used the pool and hot tub and had a blast. The breakfast was amazing--omelets, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit, pancakes, yogurt, etc. There is a nice little creamery across the street where we had some icecream in the evening. We really enjoyed the Holiday Inn Express in Kanab. It had a more Western theme decor than other hotels and it was very well done. Our room was super quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast was like all other Holiday Inn Express hotels we have stayed at - not particularly healthy but lots of choice and no reason to leave still hungry. We were a little […] disappointed that the pancake/waffle maker wasn't working though. The only other slight negative was there was no coffee available in the lobby - you had to either wait for breakfast or make it in your room, the latter being difficult for me as I had a sleeping husband I couldn't wake. Accomodation were good. Would have preferred to have a king size bed. Also disappointed that did not have refrigerator naor microwave in room. Free breakfast was nice, quality was ok. Desk staff were wonderful. There were some errors but they got straightened out.

The physical spaces are nice and the room was quiet and clean. I found the staff pleasant but not too engaged. The wi-fi was broken, the OJ machine and pancake cooker for breakfast were broken. Just a bit less oomph on service than I would like. Location is great.

This hot was great for us since we drove from salt lake city to Scottsdale Arizona. We needed a. Real for the night and this hotel was welco Ing, friendly and inviting. The person at check in and out was very pleasent and friendly. I told all my friends back in Arizona that if they drive to visit us in salt lake city this will be the best hotel to stay […] in between. On the way back we stayed at comfort inn kanab since holiday inn was not available and we hated it. Holiday inn express was the best by far. friendly and professional staff, nice location, clean hotel. but typical "thin" walls where you can hear the next room and hear the doors slamming all down the hallway. hot breakfast was decent but had the usual downfalls of buffett type steam table food. USA today papers were available free also.

Stayed one night on our way between Bryce and Zion National Parks. The hotel was very nice and the staff was friendly and attentive. The rooms were very clean. Breakfast was very good. Loved the automatic pancake machine and the warm cinnamon rolls.
