"Beautiful land & close to everything"
The Hershey Farm Inn is a quaint place to stay...beautiful country setting...loved looking over the countryside & beautiful landscape. There was the convenience of being able to walk to the Sights & Sounds Theatre! If you book, request a room with a balcony. The rooms without balconies are dark. I was able to get one night with the balcony and sat out […] late at night without any bugs bothering me! It was so quiet & peaceful. The second night I had a room with no balcony and I felt very closed in. Didn't like it. The breakfast included is fabulous - everything you can imagine. However, it didn't begin until 8 am. I was leaving early the second day, so would have liked it at 6 am before my long drive home. The rooms had a bit of a musty smell covered by a cleanser smell; there is no coffee pot or refrigerator in the room & there was no decaf coffee available in the lobby. The staff was very friendly. It is close to all the quilt shops! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Sight and Sound"
Our Stay was nice we had a great time scouting out new places to visit and also we revisited some places that we had seen 5 years agoGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"near the sight and sound theater"
We fully enjoyed our stay at the Hershey Inn.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location and staff"
Although the room was clean, it could use some updating, painting and minor repairs. Ex: the vinyl carpet in the bathroom was lifted by the tub and the walls needed paintng. As a plus it is very family oriented, the service was excellent despite a storm generated blackout for a few hours. Would stay again and bring the family.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The facility is right in the heart of Amish country and fit right into our budget and needs for a quick weekend getaway. Highly recommend this place. Clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, and friendly. What else do you need. Slightly dated but well maintained and clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

We always stay here when we go to Sight and Sound. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Breakfast buffet (that is included with stay) is incredible. We always walk to and from Sight and Sound. Beautiful grounds. We have stayed in the inn many times. This was the first time we stayed in the carriage house. Will stay next trip.

We always stay here when we have tickets for a Sight and Sound production. It is so convenient - just walk over to the theater; no hassles with traffic or parking. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast included with the room is absolutely delicious, so many choices and everything I tried was wonderful! We have stayed here 3 times already and will book a room for our trip to see the Joseph production at Sight and Sound in 2015.
"Perfect for that Lancaster County feeling!"

This is by no means a fancy NY city hotel. However, if thats what you want, why are you in Lancaster? It was wonderful. It had that country feel while providing nice amenities. Room was very nice and included a fridge, microvave, and keurig coffee maker. There was a resteraunt (home-style cooking of course), a pond, a pool, a small area with animals, a small bake shop, and a small gift shop. We had breakfast at the buffet style resteraunt and it was wonderful. Everything you would expect in Lancaster Pa at a very reasonable price. I really liked that the rooms were hardwood floors instead of carpet. Plus, if you are planning to go to Sight and Sound, it is within walking distance without walking on any public roads. We will be back.
"Very nice, safe and clean!"

This hotel was very nice, clean and reasonably priced. I felt very safe and will return! The restaurant was also a great addition for our morning meal. Overall, we had a great experience! We will return in the fall I'm sure!

Just got back from staying at the Hershey Farm. The hotel is a bit older hotel, but they have recently remodeled the rooms. The bedroom part of our room was beautiful with gorgeous wood floors and a deep burgundy color on 1 wall. The bed was comfortable & so were the pillows. We had Keurig in our room which was a nice bonus. The bathroom however was very small and was in good shape, but really needs updated to match the rest of the room. The pool looked very nice, but we didn't have a chance to swim. It even had an outdoor Jacuzzi tub. The staff were all so sweet that I dealt with there and were very helpful. The very best thing about this hotel was the complimentary smorgasbord breakfast at Hershey Farms Restaurant (right next door) for staying 2 nights. It was awesome. The food was great and they had a grill chef making eggs & omelets to order. All in all a pretty nice stay!
Visited with friends on a weekend getaway. Stopped for our evening meal. While it's a little pricey, the food is good and there are lots of options on buffet as well as desserts. Staff very friendly and willing to offer suggestions.

"Bad Breakfast Smorgasboard"

Am a local, but never tried it until Saturday July 5th.. No fresh fruit, all canned. Burnt bacon, scrapple, food was not hot and Stan who threw the omelets together, did just that. Over priced and out dated. Please head to Miller's on Route 30 or the Oregon dairy.. Just horrible and a waste of money. Even my Iced Tea was "stale", had to ask for a different drink..
"Good buffet, bad room"

We stayed in the Carriage House in early July 2014. The cost of over $150 on July 3rd was excessive for the quality of the room.. The A/C ran the entire stay, and the room was cold but the A/C did not take out the dampness. The dampness and musty odor were overwhelming during our stay of 2 days. The entire tile (?) floor in front of the sink/vanity was always damp and slippery. Seems like the budget was cut short for the bathroom remodel because the toilet was very low and small. The Keurig coffee maker was the only good feature about the room. The dinner buffet was pricey - about $22. each. The breakfast buffet was good and included in the room cost.
"Great Amish/Lancaster flavor"

Great place to stay. We stayed here during our trip to Dutch Wonderland. Much better than the sterile motels/hotels found on route 30. It reminded us of the hotel we used to stay out but got torn down a few years ago. Has a nice rural/amish/lancaster flavor to it. Quiet, in the countryside, nice surroundings, walking paths, pond, petting zoo. We stayed in one of the separate buildings. The buildings were older, but it was nice being more secluded. The rooms were updated. Not perfect, but updated and nicely decorated. Don't expect the Ritz-Carlton, but it's far from a fleatrap. The free breakfast was an amazing all you can eat buffet, not some dinky thing like the holiday inn offers. For you money, you can't get a better deal. The kids loved walking through the petting zoo each morning on the way to breakfast and then seeing all the eggs the chicken laid when we came back from the park. Used the pool one day. It, too, was nice. Could have been a bit cleaner (the water) but not terrrible. When you call, ask for Grace. She is very helpful, informative, friendly and caring. I called once and dealt with someone else and she had no clue about the area. Grace is awesome, on the other hand. My only complaint is that there is no light in the shower portion of the bathroom and it is very dark when you use the shower. We stayed at the sterile holiday inn last year -- with a view of the outlet stores and a crappy breakfast in a cramped little corner of the lobby -- and paid the same price that we paid for this place this year. Crazy. We will never do that again. We love this place and will return again next year.
