Great hotel. Comfortable. Would be a "5" all around except for the construction on the street and highway in front of the place that made navigation a little confusing. But that is beyond the control of the hotel. Surprisingly, there was no noise from the construction! Will stay there again when in the area.

This was the closest hotel still available for our tournament (within 15 minutes). It was a great stay for us. The kids felt comfortable going from room to room to play with their friends and the adults could hang out in the lobby. I just wished they were more prepared for the large crowd with a little more help in the breakfast buffet.

We've stayed here many times, and it is always nice. The comfort and decor of the rooms and hotel are pleasant. Love the new big screen TV, refrigerator and microwave! This time we had bad experience with a room safe that didn't work, alarm clock that didn't work, and button on phone to call the front desk didn't work. Also, we told the maid we weren't […] ready for her yet, so she left. We left at 1:30 pm but she never came back to clean the room. I wlll stay there again, but hope these things improve. The woman at the front desk put in a work order and gave us a Starbucks gift card for our inconvenience. That was a nice touch. Read more

First of all I have to question the other reviews..our stay was great! The staff was so friendly and helpful, the hotel was VERY clean, the rooms ( we had 2) were clean, comfortable, and spacious! I would really give this a 5 star review!

As we were checking in several guests were in line to check in. I was at the counter and the other guests were discussing on how to get to the pavillion for that nights concert. A guest that was at the pool came in told the group that this hotel was too far from the pavillion and that she had made a reservation to another hotel closer and she was going […] to check out. Beautiful hotel, classy rooms, enjoyable atmosphere and food selection for breakfast. Used the gym, pool and spa. Was there with family, including 4 adults and 2 kids, and we all had plenty of room to breathe and have fun. One thing was of concern, when we were in the pool, a little boy asked us to open the gate to the pool area, I told him that he […] needed a room key to open the gate and asked if he had a room key. He said no. I told him I was sorry but couldn't open it. A couple minutes later, two older boys (perhaps late teens) hoisted him over the fence, he opened the gate and the 3 boys spent time in the pool and in the spa with us. When my son introduced himself and said we were from oregon, and asked where they were from, they said they lived in Pittsburg. not satisfied... stench of fertilizer freshly laid down next door was topped by the noise from freeway construction which started at midnight: steel pilons driven into the earth in a rythmic sequence... pool was unkept and exposed to the gawkers from the street... the room was very nice, the staff were very helpful and courteous.

My wife and I stayed at the Hampton Inn overnight while attending an event nearby. We found the hotel very well maintained and clean. We also enjoyed using the exercise room which was also clean and well organized. We also found the hotel staff friendly and helpful. The only negative issue we had was rather trivial,but non the less troubling. It semed […] that every door we went through "slamed" behind us. Not so much of a problem,until we went to bed. We heard doors slamming from adjoining rooms for several hours afterwards. This made it very difficult to get to sleep. Perhaps suggest adjusting the automatic closing mechanism on the doors. unfortunately for me i had to work 13hrs overtime until midnight on a friday night in Pittsburg, CA. Upon checking in i saw 2-3 police cars outside the hotel. I checked in and everything seemed OK (clerks were nice, no problems). But the elevator door opened to the 3rd floor and the entire floor was filled with marijuana smoke. I swear i was getting […] a contact high, it REEKED. So i get to my room and shortly after hear people running back and forth in the hallway, yelling and having a good old time. Finally it died down around 1:30AM but i was able to ignore it by turning up the TV and leaving the fan on. I suppose other people had already complained since the police were there, i figured i had only witnessed the aftermath and it had been much worse before i arrived (due to the massively smoked out hotboxed hallway). Nice hotel, so-so neighborhood, bad night for me i suppose. I'll probably go there again but only because there are no other hotels around the area. Read more
