Hotel Sonata - Prague 50.07714, 14.42921

The hotel was well situated in a lovely building with traditional decor. The rooms were comfortable and large. The bedroom was clean but the bathroom was not as impressive with a less than clean floor. We drove to Prague and although the hotel advertises parking we were told there was none available and had to park the car outside another hotel, along a busy main road. The cost of the parking was 650cK per night!

Well located near Museum metro and Wenceslas square, comfortable clean rooms, breakfast up to expected standard.. Bit stingy with the air-con.. Overall, very satisfactory.

Overall a good value hotel with a room of sufficient size and which was clean. Located very close to central busy areas, meaning the hotel is located at the intersection of large roads. Coffee or tea service in the morning would have been nice.

Positives: good location, clean room with decent bathroom. although the 'double bed' was two singles pushed together. Negatives: aircon wasnt very cold, opened the windows to let air in but was kept awake by a group of chinese students who had their window open opposite and were talking loudly. Called reception but they werent interested. I'd hate to think how hot the room might get in summer (we went over Easter). No complimentary tea, coffee, milk or kettle etc.

Loved the hotel, and had a very enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly, the rooms were nice, and was kept very clean. Great location also, a 2 minute walk for the centre. For a 4 star hotel we got a very good price for the room. The buffet breakfast every morning is a nice little extra as well. If in Prague again I would definitely go back.

Location is okay. You can walk to Wenceslas square and train station. Old square is a bit further away but still walkable. Hotel's style and decoration is modern. Room is quite small. There are only two-bed type rooms. Early check-in is not allowed, even though there is a room available for you!!! Hotel's staff is not very helpful and willing to accommodate your request. There was no shower bath gel provided on our second night and it took half hour for the staff to get the bath gel for us. Two light bulbs in our bathroom were out when we checked in. Heater in our room was not working properly and could not provide enough heat during winter.

Hotel was very clean and smart. Room are small but well laid out with a nice ensuite bathroom, with heated tiles, very nice. Very close to main centre and metro station and a short walk to the river. Arrived at hotel at 12pm and was told to come back at 2pm, never had that at a hotel before and thats my only real negative.

PLUS POINTS Excellent location close to Museum end of Wenceslas Square Tube and trams less than 5 minutes away with easy access to all the main attractions Hotel in excellent decorative order Good breakfasts THREE MINOR COMPLAINTS Poor lighting in bedroom (caused me to wear mismatched socks one day), and could not have one bedside lamp on and the other one off Coffee prices and internet access in lounge were too expensive Tourist literature at reception very minimal

Fint hotell til en billig penge sentralt i Praha.

Hyggelig og behjelpelig betjening. Hjalp deg med å finne frem til de stedene som du ønsket å dra. Enten via taxi eller ved gange. Frokosten var godt. Den var fra 07:00-10:00 Veien var noe trafikkert å det lå en politi stasjon i nærheten. Noen sirener må du tåle. men slik er det jo i en storby.

Very helpful staff and close to the biggest shopping street in Prague. Will use this hotel again!

As this is a 4-star hotel, i had quite high expectations for it. But the standards and quality actually exceeded my expectations, and for the price we got via hotels.com, it's simply a bargain. I think we paid only 25% of the normal price of the rooms, according to their pricelist. Their friendly staff was very kind, and spoke good english. Room was very clean and nice.

Sentralt beliggende, noe trafikkstøy, gode senger, rent på rommet og god frokost. Anbefales gjerne til par eller reisefølge uten barn.

Nyoppusset hotell, god service, smilendes betjening og god atmosfære, sentral beliggenhet.

Buon albergo in ottima posizione sia per il centro che per raggiungere l'aeroporto ( vicino fermata metropolitana ) Le camere danno sulla strada ed in alcuni momenti possono essere un pò rumorose, ma non vanifica i lati positivi dell'albergo.

Albergo bellissimo, con delle camere molto carine, ben riscaldato e con impiegati disponibili

Struttura ottima, ben arredata, confortevole. Stanza ampia, curata nei dettagli, con una buona temperatura, molto confortevole. Bagno ampio e spazioso con la vasca. A rovinare il mio personale giudizio sull'albergo è il personale della reception, scortese talvolta sino ad essere indisponente, nonchè il fatto che le lenzuola e gli asciugamani non venissero cambiati giornalemente. Bella esperienza quella del centro relax (sauna+iacuzzi= 500 corone a persona per 1 ora), ma anche in questo caso i dettagli scadenti (pavimento a terra ancora bagnato forse da precedenti visitatori..).

non ci sono parole che possano descrivere tale hotel bisogna vederlo per rimanere incantati

Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt, ved Muzeum. Veldig behjelpelig personell. Vekking og frokost på senga. Bra frokost. Behagelig stort rom. Nøye Vaskepersonell.
