This is a very nice apartment. However, just beware that the pillows are lumpy or thin. In fact, we found hard beds and lumpy pillows to be the norm all over Portugal! Bring some dishwasher tablets, laundry soap (I put some in a 3oz bottle). I wish I would have brought dish soap as well. Oh, bring you own suntan lotion! The smallest bottle (about 3 oz) is almost $15...crazy expensive! We had a car, which I think was the smartest way to check out the whole area. The beaches are amazing especially near the point. There are great boat rides to the grottos, take one to show you where all the great beaches are for about 10 euros per person. We had a great 4 days at this hotel! The only improvement I could suggest (besides the pillows) is adding a hot tub to the pool area. That would have made the stay perfect!

The front desk staff were very helpful. The hotel is in a great location and is close to everything. The roof top deck has a great view. I liked the local radio station music piped in through the TV. The continental breakfast was average.

Very nice decor and high end apartment. Every room has its own AC and the landscape is very nice. Large kitchen with large fridge, dish washer and washing machine. Towels are changed twice a week but are not allowed to be brought to the pool. So bring your own towel if you plan on going to the beach or pool. Within 5-10 mins walk to a convenient store that offers freshly baked bread. 5 mins to the beach.

Sagres is synonymous with the dramatically sited fort of Henry the Navigator. Here at the westernmost tip of the known world, Prince Henry planned the 15th-century Portuguese Age of Discoveries. The hotel location, staff, and comforts were excellent. We didn't spend much time in the hotel, except for sleeping, as were traveled during most of the days. WiFi was only available in the lobby. Good morning buffet breakfast. Easy walking to everything in the small town of Sagres.

We visited during the off season and it was very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. As well, we got a great deal. The hotel is clean and modern with a friendly staff. The bedding and sheets were wonderful. Would definitely stay here again.

Not sure this hotel would be worth the price which, I was told,is double when in season, but out-of-season (winter) it was amazingly priced, included breakfast and was very low key, and relaxing. No matter the price, the hotel is literally brand new (or newly redesigned) and it shows; the lighting, the seating, the TVs, the sinks...they all have a white, […] glowy, modern, sleek look. It's kind of funny, actually, because the surrounding town of Sagres, which is very rustic and isolated from the Algarve to the Northeast, feels different than the hotel. Read more

Having been lucky enough to have stayed in some of the best resorts in the world for location this hotel is up there. However issues do exist and the hotel could do with a spruce up (the sun beds are awful) but it is all about the Location Location Location ....

I was overwhelmed by the service at this hotel and definitely got far more than expected. The friendliest staff I've ever encountered at a hotel, the most beautiful views over the harbour, incredible local seafood, and such a welcoming town (with some great little bars) I would 100% recommend without hesitation!

23 years ago we spent our honey moon at this same hotel. Although it has new owners & has had a revamp it still is a lovely place to stay. WE ate in the hotel on our first night of a 5 night stay - good food & very quiet. It was my birthday on the Sat & when we came back from our day out - there was a bottle of champers + Birthday Cake - such a surprise […] - a very nice touch! Sagres has not changed much around the area of our hotel & but has spread out on the outskirts - with more housing - but not commercial like the rest of the Algarve coast. No high rise flats - thank goodness. We will return - hopefully for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Read more

We have just stayed at Memmo for 3 nights. The hotel is stylish and spacious , the rooms (even the basic ones) large with nice bathrooms, the staff polite, efficient and easygoing, there is plenty of places to relax, read, watch tv, which is unusual these days. The area is very authentic, with lots of great restaurants to choose from (my favourites […] A Tasca by the hotel and Boia in Salema), very easy to walk around, lovely beaches (Mareta and Beniche)...Fantastic for relaxing. The location is amazing, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean BUT the service is very poor. My biggest disappointment was the pool. It should be sheilded from the wind (which is very strong in Sagres) and it should be heated!!! The water was freezing!

Fazemos uma Avaliação, muito positiva do Hotel. Gostamos do conforto do Quarto a vista sobre o Mar é muito linda, o pequeno almoço é bom, poderia ter mais variedades em termos de fruta. O staff é simpatico e prestável.

Sehr schön. Zimmer allerdings für den Preis zu klein und die Betten sehr ungemütlich. Nicht weil Matratze alt oder dreckig oder so. Sieht auf den ersten Blick gut aus. Aber eindeutig viel zu weich und schlechte Qualität. Das Hotel und die Lage sind wirklich toll, tolles Frühstück, nette Leute, stylisch, echt schöner Aufenthalt aber wenn der Preis gerechtfertigt […] sein soll, muss die Ausstattung besser werden. Wenn die Zimmer (wir hatten Superior, und die sind nicht sooo günstig ) schon klein sind, dann muss auch eine Top-Matratze dabei sein für den Preis. Die Suiten sind sicherlich größer aber auch wesentlich teuerer. Ob da die Betten besser sind weiß ich nicht, glaube ich aber nicht. Also, liebe Hotelleitung: alles Top, aber hier müsst ihr noch was tun. Dann stimmt der Preis auch! Read more

Fina, fräscha rum. Dåligt disponerade gemensamma utrymmen (frukostrestaurang, gym, pool etc är alldeles för litet i jmf med antalet rum/gäster i högsäsong). Ingen wifi på rummen (endast i baren/receptionen, vilket ledde till att baren var full av folk som bara surfade - knäpptyst).

Excellent! Had a suite - perfect for Family or couple. Perfect service and facilities at hotel. Beaches - not crowded - everywhere. Recommend car. My children and husband went to surf course - school at the hotel! Very good. We are visiting from Norway.

Vi hade rum mot havet. Ganska litet rum men fräscht och rent men en känsla av "vitt & fräscht", en fåtölj och en dubbelsäng som var lagom mjuk med en stor och en lite mindre kudde. (Ej dun, men OK ändå). Morgonsol när man vaknade och högt beläget med mycket grönt omkring samt en fantastisk utsikt. Jag tror att det bara fanns 5 rum lediga när vi kom […] dit men hela stället gav ett lugnt och stilla intryck ändå. En OK pool fyrkantig och lite kall men annars var allt väldigt OK.
