Great location near the old town of Grenoble. The room was clean and well maintained. They have free wifi available in the rooms, which was very slow in the evenings but worked better during the day. The staff were very helpful.

Enjoyed our stay here. Liked the convenience of being right in the center of town. It was just one block away to the tram which took us to the "Gare", or main train station in about five minutes. All of the front lobby personnel spoke english and were very kind. We did not try the breakfast buffet. There was a small kitchenette. So, we purchased some […] croissants, juice, etc. and had that for breakfast in our room. The view from the fifth floor was decent. We could see a little bit of the surrounding downtown, as well as the surrounding mountains. Overall, it was a nice stay. We wholeheartedly reccommend it to anyone going through Grenoble. Read more

Great location to downtown Grenoble. 1 block from tram line. Easy walk from either tram stop or directly from Train Station (~ 7 blocks). Easy check-in. Spacious room. Nice kitchenette with couch/ trundle bed. Major downfall was lack of shower curtain. Contains smaller, European tub with faucet in the side tub wall. Comes with shower hose, but no curtain […] to keep from spraying water ALL over the bathroom. Ridiculous setup. Tub too small to kneel and try to wash hair. Messy. Read more

Welcoming, clean (though no housekeeping unless you pay extra, as this is more apartment/studio style than hotel, and that might be an inconvenience on a long stay) and close to the downtown. We paid under 10 euro for a taxi from the train station. We paid for breakfast and it was about worth the price. Was a great place to stay for it's convenience - about a 15 minute walk from the station, located near the historic center and the modern shopping district. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the kitchenette well stocked with all of the needed utensils. This hotel was ideal for our travel plans. We arrived by train and took the tram to our hotel. The stop was very close to the hotel, which was convenient. The apartment was roomy and comfortable, with a kitchen table and a couch. The kitchenette was well supplied with dishes and cookware. The only thng it lacked was decor. The hotel was very cold. Other towel was very dirty and when returned it they promised to bring new one, no towel. After complaining the reception they said that they'll bring new one in 2 min, no towel, then we gave up. There was only one glass. Internet connection was very poor.

l'éclairage aux chevets est très faibles, il n'y a rien pour poser son savon dans la douche et les patères sont insuffisantes pour les vêtements. Le lino est vieux et taché.

Trés bien situé au centre ville ; par contre ils devrait faire un effort pour le WIFI car le débit est très faible , impossible de parler à mes enfants via SKYPE et parfois même impossible d'ouvrir certains pages du WEB .

Ma chambre était très spartiate. Peu de décoration. Lit peu confortable. De vieilles odeurs de tabac persistantes cachées sous divers déodorants. Points positifs : la situation très centrale, la kitchenette, le petit-déjeuner.

Ingen roomservice (i form av renhold eller innhold til badet), måtte betale 10 euro for nye håndklær, reklamerer med gratis internett, men den er så treig at den ikke kan brukes til noe som helst, ingen i resepsjonen store deler av tiden.

Nous arrivons dans la chambre et le ménage n avait pas été fait (draps du lit, salle de bain en désordre ...). On revient à l accueil pour le signaler et on nous propose une chambre avec 2 lits simples alors qu on avait réservé 1 lit double au départ. Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Die Handtücher werden allerdings nicht (automatisch) gewechselt, und das Internet war etwas schwachbrüstig (in meinem Zimmer war das WLAN Signal recht schwach). Positiv zu bewerten ist die kleine Küchenzeile und der Fernseher mit HDTV-Empfang.

Meget gunstig beliggenhet i forhold til gamlebyen og sentrum. Hotellet har OK standard. Resepsjonen er bare en liten gang. Frokosten er kun bestående av noe brød, kaker og plastikk-pålegg.

Ceci est notre 2eme sejour a l'hotel Grenette. Points positifs : cuisine dans la chambre (torchon et liquide vaisselle fournis), lit bebe fourni gratuitement, en pleine ville. Calme bien malgre la situation geographique. Points negatifs : il peut etre difficile de se garer (normal en ville!), lors de notre 1er sejour la chasse d'eau ne marchait pas, […] le telephone non plus, et le lit bebe n'avait pas ete prevu. Pour un hôtel classé en 3 étoile il est regrettable de constater dans les chambres des lits aussi ridicules compte-tenu de leur taille car trop étroits. chambre spartiate mais assez complète pour un séjour plus ou moins long. L’hôtel est très bien situé dans le centre ville.
