I stayed at Les Jardins de la Medina for 3 nights in May and was very satisfied. The place and staff were wonderful. It was a perfect place to escape. The resort is beautiful with gardens, a pool and balconies from the rooms. The medina outside is busy and hectic and the hotel is an oasis of quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast […] buffet (included with the room) was fantastic. There were only 2 downsides: it was a little far from the Square Djemaa el Fna (10 minute walk) and the fitness center had limited equipment (but made up for by its outdoor location overlooking the gardens of the hotel and the city skyline). The hotel is right near the gardens of the palace so a good place to go running. I would go back without hesitation and can strongly recommend this hotel to other travelers. Read more

Hotel was fantastic if you are looking for a slice of history/character. It was a unique and beautiful property and a walk to the major sites within the Medina. Beautiful Oasis hidden in the Old City. So quiet.... and relaxing, I lived in the pool most of the day. The breakfast buffet was 5 stars and so was the service. My room was beautiful. If you go...stay here for sure!

Had a wonderful 3-night stay at Les Jardins de la Medina. The staff and service were wonderful. The property grounds are beautiful. And the hotel is perfectly located in the old part of town. You get a really good feel for Marrakech. We would totally return to this hotel.

This hotel is an oasis of calm set inside an old dusty medina. The staff are excellent but... their English is not good and some orders are misunderstood - - however, their charm and helpfulness win out and overall its a great experience. Meals are good but patience is required at your evening meal as service is 'liesurely'

My only possible complaint would be food. Breakfast is expensive, £25/person, however is all you can eat and full selection of breakfast foods. Dinner menu was for me not as good as lunch!

The hotel was a complete surprise on arrival going from a bustling street through a door into an oasis of quiet and comfort. The hotel rooms were carefully prepared with complimentary fruit and drink. It's a 30 minute interesting walk to the Jemma square. Experience: After drawing cash at airport ATM on arrival go to a cash desk and get the smallest change possible for your banknotes, and keep getting change, it's in short supply-you will need it. And check with locals for proper taxi rates, probably half what is asked for by the driver, but they quickly accept your sensible proposition before starting any journey. Friendly people, and you feel safe if taking the same care you would at home. The main tourist office is extremely helpful and informative, worth a visit. Most restaurant menues are in French. The Hotel was gorgeous, attached to an idyllic garden with a sumptuos swimming pool, a personal terrace and sunbed and birds singing constantly. Sadly, everytime we left the hotel it seemed that we were mobbed by children from a local school and beggars and very aggressive traders wanting as to buy their wares as we walked past there stores. Nous avons passé un superbe week end aux Jardins de la Medina. Nous ne voulions pas un tout petit riad typique sans vie, ni un grand hotel en dehors de la Medina. Le Jardin de la Medina offre le bon compromis : typique marocain, très grandes chambres (classique), grande piscine, jardin luxuriant,... le tout en plein coeur de la Medina.

Storkoste oss på jentetur, gangavstand til det meste. Ca. 2 km. Strøk som å forvente i Marrakesh. Fantastisk oase av en hage. Bra service. Grei beliggenhet. Ok frokost. Restaurantmaten var helt ok, men spiste bare der første dagen da maten utenfor, der Marokkanerene spiser var utrolig mye bedre, og billigere. Veldig bra og rimelig SPA. Alt i alt veldig […] bra og vil bo der igjen om vi drar tilbake. Champagne på takterrassen er supert. Treningsanlegget er 2 spinningsykler og en romaskin. Vi bodde på hotellet bare en natt helt på tampen av en uke i Marrakesch/Essaouira, og kunne gjerne vært der flere. Mette av opplevelser var vi lykkelige over å kunne nyte roen i hotellets hage, som er en sann oase av store gamle palme- og frukttrær. Her er det lett å finne en stille lesekrok med noen behagelige stoler, hvis man da ikke har lyst til […] å sitte rundt det nydelige bassenget. eller oppe på takterrassen. Rommet vårt var nydelig med en veldig god seng, et stort bad, TV og DVD-spiller, i tillegg til vår egen lille salong hvor det sto frisk frukt og vann til oss ved ankomsten. Hotellet har en velutstyrt spa-avdeling og trimrom, og en gavebutikk for de som ikke orker å prutte i soukene. Frokostbuffeten tilbød et stort utvalg av frisk frukt, kjøttpålegg og ost, egg, yoghurt samt deilige marrokanske spesialiteter. Nous avons passé une semaine (mai 2011) en famille dans ce Riad magnifique, que nous recommandons chaudement. Emplacement: Dans la Kasbah. 15 mn à pied de la place Jamma El Fna. Ideal pour les personnes qui ne veulent pas s'embarrasser à négocier un taxi pour aller dans le centre de la ville. Nous avons tout fait à pied. Aucun problème de rentrer même […] un peu tard le soir, la Kasbah est tres animée. Chambre tres agréable avec une petite partie salon, où avait été installé le lit bébé, donnant sur une terrasse avec de la pelouse et accès aux jardins. Propreté impeccable et jolie décoration. Le Riad est plus qu'agréable, avec ses jardins luxuriants et sa piscine. Personnel tres attentionné. Décoration Marocaine raffinée... un vrai havre de paix. Excellent petit déjeuner. Hotel avec beaucoup de charme, jardins luxuriants, bref un havre de paix dans cette ville agitée. L'hôtel est situé au sud de la médina, il faut 10 mn de marche pour rejoindre le centre, mais ce n'est pas plus mal pour le bruit!

Das Guesthouse vom Hotel Les Jardins de la Medina könnte man als Flitterwochen-Suite bezeichnen. Jeden Tag wurden frische Rosenblüten im Badezimmer verteilt. Der Service der Rezeptionisten, Frauen und Männer, war äusserst zuvorkommend. Ausflüge buchen, z.B. nach Essaouïra, oder Tische in Restaurants reservieren, welche nicht zum Hotel gehören, war alles […] kein Problem und wurde zuverlässig und immer sehr freundlich organisiert. Das Mittagessen im Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Zu einem Abendessen im Hotel haben wir es aus Zeitgründen nicht geschafft. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet eine grosse Auswahl, von frischen Früchten, über französische Croissants, marrokanische Patisserie, frisch zubereitete Omelettes u.v.m. Die Dachterrasse ist sehr schön mit verschiedenen Liegemöglichkeiten, Lounge und Tischen zum Essen. Der Garten ist wunderschön mit Orangenbäumen und vielen Palmen. Der Garten bietet viele Schattenplätze. Der Swimming-Pool ist beheizt. Wir können das Guest House von Les Jardins de la Medina nur empfehlen. Read more

Die Lage des Hotels, Frühstück, Pool war perfekt. Bis zum Zentrum Medinas ist es ein 10 min Fußmarsch. Nur der Spa/Therpiebereich ließ leider zu wünschen übrig, die Behandlungen waren zT sehr viel kürzer als angegeben und wurden nebenbei und halbherzig durchgeführt. Un jardin centenaire plein de charme et de tranquilité offrant sa fraîcheur malgré le soleil en plein coeur d'une Kasba pleine de vie et de couleurs.
