Found this hotel via Hotels.com...Me= 45 year old male traveling alone. Live in California. Come to Spain almost yearly for vacation. Been to 41 countries. Blue collar average Joe..been there done that with hostels. So on to the review of the hotel. It is conveniently located two blocks away from the S.F. and the accompanying Metro Station. There is […] a convenient Carrefour mini supermarket a block away. My room was on the fourth floor and it was clean and quiet. The room had a strong box. In comparison to USA standards, the room was small but that is of no concern to me as I try to spend as little time in the room as possible. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was great. The internet connection was always strong and stable. In addition , there was hot water during the day and at night. I paid roughly 11 euro for the breakfast to be added. It was a step above a continental breakfast. Good selection of cold cuts, fresh fruit, and bread to toast. The one good thing that I liked was that there was vegetable salad offered. Sadly, there is only a coffee machine which is self serve. So, in conclusion, I am the type of guy who has gives opinions relative to costs paid. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is willing to be reasonable. I will return. Read more

Smelled of mold and bleach could possibly try adding mattress pads to beds to make more comfortable all in all good hotel for money would stay again if I bring a map ahead of time

Good sized rooms with all required amenities, including the in-room safe highly recommended for Barcelona. Powerful AC unit located properly (I.e.not blowing into your bed) and not too noisy. We enjoyed out stay at this hotel. The location was close to the Segrada Familia and that was our goal. The staff was very helpful in giving information and making recommendations. The room was small, and not air conditioned, which was a problem during this warm spell. But otherwise, we were very pleased.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel for 4 days in march. It's situated in two quarters from great Gauidi's Sagrada la Familia, near the same metro station. We enjoyed walking a lot in Barselona, the hotel is a bit far from old city, but is OK. It's only half hour by walk to reach the main attractions e.g. Rambla, Passage de Gracia etc. By metro i think […] it would be minutes away. The trip from airport by taxi take us about 30 min. and the trip back to airport by metro take us about 45 min in total. There's a bit of restaruants and tapas bars around the hotel. A nice hotel very close to La Sagrada Familia. I stayed in Room A02, which is located on the first floor behind the elevators. The noise from the elevators moving up and down all the time was very annoying...

The hotel was nicely furnished. It was small, yet modern and the rooms were clean and reasonably sized. The location was very convenient as it was only 3 blocks away from Sagrada Familia (and the subway station). Hence, you have a good chance of avoiding the lines at Sagrada Familia and get there earlier than others. The Hotel Sagrada Familia is pretty basic but we have few complaints about it, bar the beds being a little uncomfortable. Our room was clean, there's internet access, and there's a nice little roof area to enjoy. It's also in a great location with the nearest Metro stop less than a 10 minute walk away. We didn't use many of the hotel's amenities so can't comment on the food or leisure facilities and we really just used the hotel as a hostel, leaving in the morning and returning late in the evening to sleep. if you need a decent and reasonably priced base from which to explore the wonderful city of Barcelona, then this is your place. I was very pleased with my stay at the Segrata Familia Hotel. Though the room was very small, it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Nice large shower. The front desk staff was very helpful, though some didn't speak much English. The breakfast dining room was nice and the food was adequate.

The hotel is especially close to the Segrada Familia cathedral attraction. The closest metro station to the hotel is Segrada Familia, not Sant Pau as described in the hotel details. My suggestions: Take the areobus from airport to Placa de Cataluyna for 5Euros and take a cab from there to hotel. I did an on and off city tour to get a layout of the city and where I might want to go back again. Trains are 2 blocks from hotel. I'd def recommend a trip or 2 to the Olympic Port/Village. Take the L5 one stop to yellow line to Olympic […] Village. If you are into mountains/Cathedrals I would recommend the day trip to Montserrat and Sitges. Once you get to know the trains, you won't have to use those expensive taxis. The one thing I did notice, if you are a solo traveler, you don't get treated the same in some better restaurants. Hotels during MWC are notoriously overpriced - in this case 700% above the usual rate. Consequently it did not represent value for money. That said, it was within walking distance of the Gaudi cathedral (Sagrada Família) hence the name. The staff were polite.

Beds were very firm and in my opinion a little too much so. I was not impressed that on arrival I was given a twin and not a double as I had booked. I was told that the hotel double rooms were all full but I could move the next day- no apology. I felt the staff tried to dissuade me from moving the next day but I wanted a double bed which is what I booked. […] I did move and was pleased i did. Unfortunately the staff did not check that there was a bath plug and if they had read my special request it was to have a bath rather than shower facility. However this was *** and not 4 so i suppose that kind of attention to detail probably cannot be expected.Everything else good. The neighborhood is not the best and the restaurant choices around are not that good. Great location with transport nearby to all the city and many areas are close enough to walk like Barrio Gothic and Gaudi's church is nearby. Our favorite thing is the quiet, friendly neighbourhood full of quality restaurants and bars, plus food shops and cafes. You can get great coffee, breads, wines, groceries etc within the few blocks of this area. […] The hotel recommended some excellent places. In late Sept/Oct we spent evenings at restaurants on the street enjoying the view of the church while eating and sharing the world with the locals who were walking their dogs, chatting, watching Barcelona play on TV or playing with their kids. The hotel is a little expensive for it's small rooms which feel cramped. Breakfast is good value but it is much better in the local cafes. Our air conditioner was noisy but necessary. Good location for my requirements in Barcelona. Staying as a single woman for business purposes, felt secure and free wifi in room was ideal. Only comment would be that breakfast is not set up until 8am, which was too late for my requirements.

Very convienient location, 5 min walk to the Sagrada Familia & Sagrada Familia metro stop. Got a room from backyard and got best undisturb sleep ever very quiet from backyard). The staff was the most amazing bunch of people, in fact have never came across such a nice hotel staff before (working in the industry myself). Room needed a bit of repainting […] however in the other hand the cleanliness was at the top scores. Hotel has Roof top terrace (with shower!!), which you can relax on looking at Sagrada Familia. There is a grocery shop cross the road (open till midnight) and many other cafes-restaurants around. Overally: no point to book more expensive hotel in Barcelona as this is all you need in really good location. If coming from Barcelona Airport you need to take train to Saints Station and then metro L5 to Sagrada Familia Stop. Read more

The hotel is two blocks away from the Sagrada Familia. It is a nice, modern looking hotel. The reception is clean and tidy and I found the receptionists extremely helpful. The room I had was compact and clean. No complaints. The nice surprise was the terrace which is on the 8th floor. A little difficult to get to as only one of the three lifts goes […] to the 8th floor but I also went to the 7th floor and walked up. It was lovely to sit out and check out the view but it did get a bit hot. There are some good tapas bars/restaurants nearby which are very reasonably priced and the food is very good. サクラダファミリアの観光にはもってこいの立地。空港からはレンフェと地下鉄を乗り換える必要があるので重たい荷物で大変だった。立地はカタルーニャ広場周辺の方がバルセロナは便利。空港送迎バスも広場から出ているので。お部屋はとてもキレイ。冷蔵庫がなかったのが唯一残念だった点。
