Close to Recoleta Cemetery, banks with ATM, tourist information, hop on hop off tourist bus pick up. Hotel staff was very friendly and willing to accommodate our needs. Construction of the neighboring property was noisy during the day, but quiet at night.

Great location, affordable, clean, friendly staff, great service, and breakfast was included. The only negative point was construction on the adjacent building (expansion to the hotel) that started at 7:30 AM everyday and kept waking us up.

This hotel is a good option for who wants to stay near Recoleta district. By other side, I am very disappointed because they did not cleaned-up the room one of the days (I stayed three nights) and the room-service simply did not work one of the nights.

The staff was very helpful - from the Front Desk, with great restaurant reservations; to breakfast girls with coffees and eggs; And maid staff with extra towels and hangars when we needed them. The location is superb. The only downside was the construction now next door.

The room itself was OK, and was fairly roomy for a city hotel. The location was fabulous. But it didn't feel 'clean' to us, the bedding and linens were sub-par, and to our endless frustration the wireless internet service never seemed to work, despite their assurance at check in that they have wireless. What troubled me the most was the fact that […] the cleaning person, after a brief "service" of the room #she made the beds and replaced the ratty towels with more ratty towels#, had left the room unlocked. We had come back unexpectedly, mid morning, to find our door ajar, and the room unoccupied, with housekeeping nowhere to be found. In a city known for having a fairly high level of crime / theft, this was a scarey feeling for us. Whether it was just an oversite on her part, or an intentional move to perhaps allow someone in to rob us, needless to say we were very upset. When we brought this to the attention of the front desk, their reaction was one of "gee, sorry." I really should have asked to speak with a manager or made more of an issue, but that would have made us feel more uneasy, I think. We declined any service to the room for the remainder of our stay. I wish the review could be more positive, because I am sure most #and quite possibly ALL# of the staff is honest, kind, and professional. But a room left wide open by housekeeping is simply unacceptable and their lack of responsiveness was shocking. Read more

Nice hotel, very nice staff, edges of room not exactly clean, no coffee for machine, tea not refilled. I liked the included breakfast buffet, good espresso coffee, real scrambled eggs. I had the regular room, quiet air conditioning, room and bathroom spacious, for the warmth I prefer a shower with a door which mine did not have. NOISE was a major problem especially first thing in the morning. A school at the back of the hotel but much more of an issue was the construction going on next door. This construction has just started so hotel is to be avoided for who knows how long.

Hotel Urbano, as it is known locally, has a fabulous location. It is right next to Recoleta Cemetery and is in a safe, architecturally-rich neighborhood. It is a very walkable area with good local restaurants (Rodi Bar & Restaurant for lomo, Los Inmortables for pizza, La Biela for cafe culture). You'll need to be willing to take a taxi or walk 15 minutes […] to the closest subte to get to other parts of the city. The hotel rooms are large, modern, reasonably clean (hair on the bed likely from never-changed decorative pillows, sticky/dirty spots on the floor). Noise however is a real problem. I arrived late, around midnight, and was given a dark, musty back room on the 2nd floor. I was awoken at 8AM to scraping and banging noises from construction going on in the building next door. After complaining and noting that I would be staying for 6 nights, the staff moved me the next morning to a front room on the 5th floor. The view and the light were a big improvement. The construction noise was more muted but still woke me up everyday. What made the problem worse was on Friday and Saturday nights, when pounding music from a club several doors over could be heard from midnight until at least 5AM. The hotel breakfast and the ladies who run it did help to ease my lack of sleep, along with early evening siestas. For those who cannot be so flexible, my bottom line recommendation is to wait until the construction next door is done and only stay in the front rooms and on weeknights. Read more

I stayed at the hotel with my daughter during a quick trip to Buenos Aires. The location is excellent, being close to major attractions, good shopping, and restaurants. The staff was friendly and responsive. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated.

The hotel is pretty good and the location is the best. Is in Recoleta sourrounded by parks and in fornt of the Cementery, one of Buenos Aires atractions. You can go walking almost everywhere and buildings are beautifull. Last time I was in Buenos Aires I stayed in the Center (Florida with Corrientes) and the streets were toos corwed and you couldn't […] feel safe from pickapockets... In Urban Suites the room was huge and restroom also. Nice wooden floor and decoration. Don't expect a big hotel with a huge lobby and common spaces. Stayed in Palermo for the first leg of my trip to BA and had an amazing time at the Hollywood Suites (clean large rooms, great location, knowledgable staff). For the last night (luckily it was only one night)- checked into the the Recoleta US hotel and while the location was great with plenty of cultural activities, bars cafes in the area, the hotel […] left a lot to be desired. awoken at 8am on Sat due to a burst water pipe in the floor below (understood S*** happens) however the place was just small and dark overall. Amazing views from the rooftop overlooking the cemetary however even the water cooler in the gym lacked cups- when called to have some cups brought up they brought ONE.. Not on a busy street because of the location across from the cemetary and only taxi drivers go through here to drop off at the 2 boutique hotels here. Cafes' just steps away in the Recoleta Village, Shops, Hard Rock Cafe also just steps away. And on Saturday and Sundays, the park outside the Hotel has craft vendors, entertainment including Tango dancers that dance for tips. This place became home to me. I had to change hotels for one night because of an excursion to Iguazu Falls that I was going on and the other hotel was close by and a botique hotel as well so I thought I would try it, and I was so disappointed because that hotel was noisy from traffic and elevator noise. It was a little less money and so not worth it. You know, had I stayed in that hotel for 5 nights, I would have never wanted to come back to BsAs. So happy in fact, that I booked an additional 6 nights upon my return from the Iguazu trip and when I got to the hotel, I felt like I had returned home. The staff was friendly and well appointed. The rooms were spacious and clean. The location was unbelievable, except for the disco you can hear from 12am-5am-not super loud as our room was in the back but you could hear the thumping. I went in December so it was VERY hot. The view from the top floor sauna/gym room of the Recoleta cemetary is AMAZING. […] Housekeeping and room service are difficult to get a hold of during off hours. My phone didn't work to connect me directly to these departments as stated. Housekeeping did not replace missing minibar items and didn't clean the coffee pot on a couple of occasions. The restaurant Clark's up the street from the hotel is FABULOUS. The hotel arranged for an in suite massage - inexpensive and well worth it after a long flight. Ótima localização, perto de shopping e de vários restaurantes e bares. Quartos muito amplos, bem arejados, bem confortáveis. O unico problema é que o box nao tem porta, portanto o banheiro molha um pouco ao tomar banho, mas nada que nao possa ser superado. Um bom café da manhã, apesar de que os produtos oferecidos deveriam ser variados dia a dia.

Trata-se de hotel (suítes) sem recepção. Há apenas 5 assentos perto do balcão. Caso você precise esperar alguém terá que, provavelmente, de fazê-lo em pé. Recoleta é muito movimentada. Ficar vendo as pessoas no conforto da recepção do hotel é uma boa dica, mas no Urban Suítes isto não é possível. É anunciado internet nos quartos e academia. Fiquei nos […] corredores até de outros andares para tentar pegar o sinal de internet, sem sucesso. Não conte com estes serviços mas eles estão na fatura do hotel. Equipamentos de ginástica (apenas 3 conjugados) todos sem manutenção. Já fiquei em quase todos os hotéis da Recoleta e com o mesmo valor ou talvez um pouco mais, você encontrará hotéis com qualidade de serviços (internet, ginásio e piscina) a uma distância de no máximo 100 metros para qualquer um dos lados, Veja nos mapas. Adoro Buenos Aires e voltarei para os hotéis concorrentes sem saudades do Urban. Os quarto são excelentes igual ao dos demais da região. Como na avaliação não entram serviços de Internet e Ginásio (entram limpeza, quarto localização arredores..e apenas um genérico de serviços) dá a falsa impressão de boa avaliação. Read more

Adorei me hospedar nesse hotel. O bairro é lindo, gostoso de passear pelas ruas caminhando e agora, ao que me parece, brevemente terá uma estação de metro, o que tornará ainda melhor sua localização. A única observação (não creio que posso chamar de queixa), foi quanto a arrumação do quarto, que em alguns dias, deixou de repor sabonetes, shampoos, etc. […] O box do banheiro também escorre um pouco de água para fora, deixando o chão próximo ao vaso sanitário um pouco molhado mas nada que tenha deixado nossa estadia prejudicada. Las habitaciones son amplias pero es imposible dormir. La primera noche nos dieron una habitación situada junto a las máquinas de aire acondicionado y fue imposible conciliar el sueño.
