I was satisfied as far as the location. The room itself looked very nice at first glance. As we looked further we noticed that the room was not clean at all. the bathroom was dirty and the toilets were not taken care of. I cleaned the toilet myself. I was not happy at all with the bed either. It was not comfortable at all. We didnt sleep due to the […] bed being uncomfortalble and the air conditioner was very loud and would keep us up. Also there was not soap in the bathroom to wash with. We were both dissapointed with our stay and would probably not stay at a Howard Johnsons again. I feel like I wasted my hard earned money. Clean and comfortable room, nothing fancy. Only negative was the lack of insulation between rooms. We could hear normal conversation levels from the next room, probably through the door between us. The bed was great.

Excellent hotel value. Older hotel has been maintained quite well and upgraded appropriately. Only negative was that carpet is due a cleaning, although well vacuumed.

I was pleased overall with the accommodations and the staff were very friendly and accommodating, however the beds are very firm (felt like sleeping on a hard floor) and outside the room was very noisy. The location is very close to many restaurants and has convienant interstate access. I don't know that I would stay here again.

The room was beautiful, the bed was great the best sleep I have every had in a hotel. Very close to alot of different places to eat. The only problem we had is that our room was not clean 1 day and this was not a good thing. When we come back down to see our son and his family we will stay here again.

Check in and out is quick and staff is ok. The rooms are not good, old carpet and bedsheets with stains. The doors are old and takes time to open. The room is so close to outside that rain droplets enters room. very few items in the breakfast and I see same on all 5 days and nothing changed. Its not worth of money.

I have been staying at the Dalton Jameson Inn twice a year since 2007. They are very conveniently located, very close to the highway but without any highway view or noise. The room is always clean and comfortable. The staff is nice and accomodating to my requests.

Though not the norm, we called just 30 min b4 arrival, to secure a room. The desk clerk was courteous, on task & helpful. We were driving a 16ft moving truck, & hauling a trailer, w/car. Being a Sunday night, parking was no problem. Upon entering our room, we were pleased to find it very clean, [pleasant smelling,, Not covered up!] & orderly. The pillows […] & bed were fresh, inviting, & comfortable. There were ample supplies, & hot water for showers. We enjoyed a very much needed, peaceful, & restful sleep. We would like to extend a Hearty "Well Done!" to the Housekeeping staff. At the end of the day, for a weary traveler, there is little that tops a hotel room, where "someone" has taken pride in its cleaning. It Is Always Obvious, & It Makes Every, Difference. We absolutely, will LOOK for a Jameson Inn to stay at when we travel, based on This experience. We hope all Jameson Inn's, are as, on top of their game plan, as Jameson Inn, Dalton. It should be rated as 1 star. The floor was very dirty. The bathroom need to be up dated. The breakfast was not worth to speak of. We make one or two trips each year from FL to MI. and we always try to book a different hotel to stay around Dalton area. I don't think Jameson Inn will be on our list again. N.L.B.

This hotel was super nice. Very quite and in a good niche in the mountain side. Right around the corner from the convention center. Breakfast was yummy and staff was always nice. Only sad part is that the rooms do not have microwaves or refridgerators. :(

This was our first stay at a Jameson Inn and will certainly consider it next time. I called ahead and asked for a room with 2 beds "on the quiet side" but there was no record of it when I registered; that was disappointing. But since it was early our request was honored. Great location and price. Linens, bathrooms, floors, everything was clean. Hotel was full and still reasonably quiet. We didn't try the pool or breakfast, but the pool looked well maintained. This stay is as good as any we have had in pricier hotels and we would definitely stay here again.

I had concerns that maybe I should have gone to a ritzier hotel that would have cost me double the price but surprisingly the Jameson Inn Dalton was an exception to the old saying that you get what you pay for.
