"Almost perfect Tourist Hotel"
Hotel was excellent for its price. Rooms were comfy and clean. Reception staff were very polite and helpful in all respects. A good team. Location was about 10 mins walk from the tube, but doable. Free wifi available all round, and free breakfast a bonus. Will stay there again if I am in the area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Stayed here for 2 nights. Was happy with the room. No complaints. Quiet neighborhood. Under 10min walk to the West Kensington tube station. A few small grocery stores along the way. A couple restaurants. Felt safe walking at night back to the hotel. Took about 15mins to the Victoria Station. Front desk were always helpful. The front desk manager was […] very helpful. I arrived very late and needed dinner for my young son. He called for me and had them deliver my order of food within 15mins. Will stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great value. Nice breakfast buffet. Convenient to buses and tube although it can be a bit of a journey to central London.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great time in London. Easy walk to the Tube. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. Nice bar in the late evening. Room was clean and updated nicely. Would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good hotel, near to common places with basic faclt"
This is a good hotel with basic facilities. We stayed 5 days. The room service is outsourced with a very delicious catering service. This is an excellent hotel during a "full day tiring" sight seeing visit.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel for family! 7 Day Stay"
Hotel staff very pleasant let us check in early after a long flight. Very clean hotel with daily housekeeping service. Breakfast included in our stay and it was good. Close to Tube station, maybe a 7-10 min walk, bus stops close as well. The only thing I would change would be the hard beds and lack of a washcloth. We had a double bed and a large fold […] out for our 14 year old and this was just fine for all of us! Highly recommend for families! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Bright, clean, and very efficient"
The hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants and shops. The staff was very helpful. The reception and bar area were cheery and welcoming. Had everything that I needed!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location and deal for familites with kids."
It was hard for me to find a hotel room for 2 adults and 2 kids under $200 per night. Luckily, Expedia had a sale on for this one. The breakfast quality, room and hotel amenities were pretty good. Free wifi access also helps a lot. Expedia says , you pay for internet access, but there is an option for free wifi in room or on installed computers in the […] lobby. "Close to all major activities in the London area"
Well worth it. Enjoyed our stay....able to accomplish all the plans we had made prior to our trip.Genuine Expedia guest review
This is a very basic hotel in central London, good location and reasonable room. Although, the beds were not really comfortable, specially the second beds.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Too expensive for type of hotel. You only get free internet in the lobby which is completely absurd!! There was hair all over the bathroom, but other than that hotel is ok and comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfort at a good price in a good location"
My visit to Holiday Inn Express in Earls Court exceeded my expectations. It is just over a five minute walk from two Underground stations (a) West Kensington and (b) West Brompton. The walk to both stations with a medium sized wheeled bag was pretty easy. On the walk from West Kensington along North End Road you pass a rich array of food, coffee and […] cell-phone establishments. The hotel room was not as large as those in the US, but was perfectly adequate with a comfortable bed and a choice of pillows. The bathroom was well designed and perfectly comfortable. The included breakfast was distinctly superior to those in the US with more choices, and a distinctively more up-market feel. The front desk staff were friendly and most helpful. I was very happy with my two night stay here. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel for the money"
Since we mostly were in London to sightsee,we just needed a place to sleep. HIEX was perfect! Clean hotel and rooms. Breakfast was filling. Especially loved the "turbo boost" on the shower sprayer.I'd stay there again next time. About a 4 minute walk to nearest Tube station too.Genuine Expedia guest review
Room was freezing! !!! Only options were portable heater or blanket. Sorry but I like to not stay in bed 100% of my time in room. Will likely not stay there againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Rooms were small, second bed was a fold out from the couch that was supported underneath by other prices of furniture. Very uncomfortable. Bed sheets and bed length were short making sleep a struggle. Bathroom was nice, the design and space.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Whoops wrong hotel"
We thought we booked for Kensington but there were two holiday Inn. The hotel was definitely set up for value and families traveling on a budget. Everyone was nice and hotel was clean. "Not great for families of four"
The hotel is NOT in Earls court. It is in Fulham which is not a great vacation area for tourists. The rooms were tiny --they say its for four, two queen beds but one is a love seat pullout. It was really tight and we are not fussy travelers. No plug in bathroom was a pain. The staff was great--super nice and friendly which helped a tonGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel for families and couples!"
Our hotel room was pretty large and included complimentary buffet breakfast--which is a plus! They gave you plenty of food to eat. It is also located only 5 minutes away from the nearest underground which was great too. Overall, I would heartily recommend this hotel to everyone, also want to mention there are plenty of restaurants nearby too.Genuine Expedia guest review
Our 5 day stay was great. The hotel was not far from the West Brompton tube station which made connecting to other parts of the city relatively convenient. The area had some nice restaurants including Barrow Boy for a good dinner and Trubadour for a good breakfast. The hotel breakfast was good- lots of options, but I got very sick from the eggs. The […] desk was helpful with giving directions and printing out travel documents. There is a wash/fold laundry right across the street that will do everything and deliver your finished laundry to the front desk the same day for a reasonable price. Take advantage of the free internet in the lobby. Otherwise it will be 6 pounds per day. I was not told it was free in the lobby. Also find out about how to log off the internet service. If you just shut down, you are logged out and your timed service will continue. There is a log-out code to enter. I was not told that and ended up paying more than I needed to. Overall... an excellent stay Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Small and far from The Tube, otherwise very good."
Two kids and two adults in a room leaves no room for the luggage. Very small space. A little bit too far from the Tube. Otherwise very good experience, excellent staff.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great clean hotel, great breakfast. 5 min walk to the metro- amazing indian restaurant next door. If you are comfortable walking (I mean able) to the metro it is a great place to stay. Has a beer and snacks downstairs at night. We enjoyed it. Biggest thing to us is cleaniness and they were spot on!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was there for four nights, two adults and two kids. Rooms were fine for luggage as we are light packers. Breakfast was plenty and very well stocked...my kids loved having a full breakfast each day. Easy access to the tube to get downtown, and to the Easybus pick up/drop off route from Gatwick. The neighborhood has people from all over the world. Everyone […] was very friendly and welcoming to us. I had no concerns walking around at night with my kids outside of the normal precautions you take in a large city. I will definitely make this my first choice hotel if we return to London. Rooms were very quite at night and the rates were reasonable. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Basic hotel done well"
The hotel met all my expectations: comfortable beds, clean and well maintained, polite and effective staff, safe location, and close to transportation links. The closest tube stations are actually West Brompton Station and West Kensington, which are both a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Despite the hotel's name, Earl's Court is actually a bit further […] out (about 8 minutes walk from the hotel). It's a basic hotel, so no dining options in the hotel itself, no mini bar in the rooms, and no room service etc. I did not feel the lack of these services since there were lots of dining options along North End Road, and there are grocers in the area as well as a supermarket, which is about 3 minutes walk from the hotel. And you can always order in. Breakfast is included and is available from 7 - 11 am. If you're going to need internet service, it is extra. Unless you need it for a very short period, you're probably better off just getting short term data service from a local phone company. Being that it is London, the rooms and beds run small (as compared to the US). Also, the hotel has this energy conservation system with heat and light, where your room key is needed to turn on the lights and heat. It takes a while (5 - 10 minutes) for the heat to turn on, which was a bit inconvenient. Once it was on it was fine. I stayed there for about a week, and other than having to wait for the heat to turn on, I had no problems. I would stay there again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good value for package paid."
The things that annoyed us where only the very soft bed and the very hard sofa bed used by the children. The clenliness, in the room and all the hotel was very good an is one of the first things we look for with little kids. We noticed staff cleaning in various times of the day which is very good. We noticed also one of the staff during breakfast who […] we admired for her non stop activity to keep the breakfast food available all the time, while also coping to clear the tables for other customers to sit. She was very good. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Simple and Clean"
I only stayed for one night, and it was a good place for a short stay. It is possible a longer stay would result in a higher rating. It is closer to the airport than the more expensive downtown hotels; however, it is not very convenient to downtown sights and is a several block walk to the tube. The rooms are small but new, bright and clean. The staff […] were helpful and the value was very good. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Worst customer service of my life"
This hotel is clean and in a nice part of London, easily accessible by Tube, etc. However, the hotel staff are the most inconsiderate, unhelpful, and downright rude people I have ever encountered. Even though I booked the room 2 months in advance, they did not have the room available to me that I had requested -- instead of a double bed, my husband […] and I were given two small twin beds without any apology or explanation. My husband struggles with insomnia, and was unable to sleep a wink the whole night due to the cramped, uncomfortable bed. Most upsetting was the way the matter was handled by hotel staff. My husband and I were not treated as valued guests, but rather as nuisances at the bottom of the totem pole. When speaking to someone at the front desk, we were continually ignored or pushed aside to answer phone calls. We always made an effort to be polite, but never received a single apology. When my husband called the front desk to ask about using a calling card on the room phone, he was yelled at that we could not use our room phone except to call within the hotel. There is a phone in the lobby that we discovered on our last day there by which guests can use international calling cards, but we were never told about it. I was also disappointed by the lack of Internet access. I would never recommend this hotel and indeed am never staying at a Holiday Inn again! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Small but clean - good location!"
TRANSIT This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the West Kensington Tube Station in Zone 2. It was a very busy station so my Mom and I didn't feel we uncomfortable at all even when coming home at 11PM. There are two buses that stop at the front door of the hotel (Lillie Road stop): the 391 and the 28. Take these whenever you can to avoid the chaos […] of the Tube. ROOM Small but very clean and comfortable. There were two twin-beds in our room. A shower but no bathtub. And only shelves - no dresser. VERY quiet! Internet not free. BREAKFAST Very busy and often hard to get a seat. Same thing every day - cold cereals; yogurts; cheese. Apple and orange juices. Whole and low fat milks. Chocolate pastry; croissants; wheat bread and a toaster. Beans; scrambled eggs; and sausage. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

We stayed at Earls Court during a half term break with the kids. Picked due its locality to central London and hotel has its own parking. Family room was cosy, but more than adequate. "Short break at Earls Court Hotel"
We stayed for 2 nights in a family room to see the London sights, although I wish I stayed longer. The hotel was in a quiet area and conveniently located 10 to 15 minutes from West Kensington Underground tube station which takes you into London on the District line in about 15 minutes from set off. The station is in zone 2 with zone 1 being the heart […] of London. So I would recommend as we did buy an Oyster card each for £7.00 per person for unlimited travel up to zone 2. Children travel for free under 15 years old. Although I never visited the area before there were plenty of shops like TESCO Metro, CO-OP and local general stores as well as pubs and restaurants/ takeaways within the vicinity of the Hotel. The Hotel is modern, clean with smart appearance. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice including cold and hot food. The tables were cleared and cleaned promptly after guests left by attentive staff. The staff as a whole were all most helpful and friendly. My only minor issue were our mattress was soft, we are used to a harder mattress at home but that is only our personal preference and don't let that put you of staying at the hotel. I will stay again as location to inner London was excellent and the hotel was very good. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

For a reasonable price - this is a quite ok hotel. I have to say they have the most kind staff. All of them. This is definitely the strongest advantage.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great service/ poor hotel"
The staff were fantastic, very helpful and always went out their way to assist. It's a shame that the hotel lets them down. The beds were far too soft and it could almost be mistaken for a water bed, the sofa bed was also very old and you can feel the metal frame poking in your back. The main areas of the bathroom (sink/shower) were fairly clean although […] under the sink and toilet area weren't of the same standard. Our shower also leaked so left a big puddle on the bathroom floor. Location isn't ideal if you are looking for something close to central London, subway is easy enough but not recommended if travelling with baby and/or pushchair. Surrounding area didn't have a good vibe and generally felt a bit uncomfortable walkng from the subway to hotel at night. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Ok but not great"
This Holiday Inn Express is okay, but just okay. When I arrived, I was given a room in the main building - the room looked very tired and had totally different decor than that in the photos on hotels.com. I was not impressed and conveyed this to the manager. They tried to tell me there was nothing they could do, that it was all booked, that the room […] was what I booked, etc. Eventually, however, the manager, called back and said another room had come available (?). The new room was considerably better and at least looked pretty much like the photos, though not brilliant (hard, cheap sprung mattress). Be warned - only some of the hotels rooms (the ones in the "Annex") apparently have the new decor shown in the photos on hotels.com. The other rooms are not good. Also, a downside is the area. It's a substantial walk from the tube and the area, while safe, is not the best at night (you're better off on the other side of Earls Court or closer to Fulham Broadway). That being said, the staff was pleasant enough and the lounge / breakfast area is quite nice. The breakfast is okay but not what you'd expect at most any holiday inn express in North America. If you have no other reasonably priced options, it is certainly not terrible. But I am unlikely to come back in the future. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
