I was there for four nights, two adults and two kids. Rooms were fine for luggage as we are light packers. Breakfast was plenty and very well stocked...my kids loved having a full breakfast each day. Easy access to the tube to get downtown, and to the Easybus pick up/drop off route from Gatwick. The neighborhood has people from all over the world. Everyone […] was very friendly and welcoming to us. I had no concerns walking around at night with my kids outside of the normal precautions you take in a large city. I will definitely make this my first choice hotel if we return to London. Rooms were very quite at night and the rates were reasonable. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The location is great though it's not exactly in Earls Court. Subway is within walking distance & bus stop is just a few steps away from the hotel. From the hotel, it is easily accessible to places of interest such as the green park (Buckingham Palace), Picaadily, Oxford Circus, etc. Staff service is excellent, responsive & prompt. Our family enjoyed […] our stay greatly. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Got this at a good rate. Family room was a normal double with a sofa bed so a bit cramped but we were only there for 1 night. Certainly wouldn't have paid full rate but worth £160 for the family.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Would go back"
Lovely place, clean, tidy, very friendly people, great experienceGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ok, expensive, but basic. Service is good though"
The hotel is nice enough, and easy to find. The rooms are very simplistic despite costing an average of £140 a night! So very expensive room for what I'd expect to pay £60 to £80 elsewhere. The breakfast was very basic. No fried eggs or bacon for the cooked option. So not very impressive there. However, I personally found the staff to be extremely friendly […] and helpful. Including checkin, explaining things, handling an issue I had, checking out and looking after my luggage. So the only saving grace is that the service was exceptionally good. "Hotel ok, area not great, room unbearabley warm!"
Hotel is ok. Few mins walk from West Kensington tube station one way or West Brompton overland the opposite way. Not tge best area....wouldn't like to be wandering round there on my own at night. Reception nice and new and airy. Room was ok. Smallish but clean. However it was unbearabley hot and the windows don't open and the supposed air con didn't […] work. Bed was really really firm too so not good for us. Bathroom small but ok. Good choice at breakfast and nice seating area. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Could have easily been rated 4 or 5, but wasn't..."
It was a shame that a few problems let this hotel down. It is modern, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The staff were helpful and polite and the free wifi was appreciated. However, we booked a family room for 4 but the folding bed was not provided with bedding and towels/mugs for only 2 people were provided. The hotel partly corrected this on […] request, towels and bedding were provided while we were out, but the bed wasn't made up and the extra mugs did not appear. The other main problem was breakfast. The the queuing system and the buffet layout were very poorly thought out which led to big delays at a busy breakfast time. In addition the quality of the food, coffee and juice was mediocre. Holiday Inn Express needs to look at Premier Inn (similar price bracket) as a role model for convenience and quality of its breakfast. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very clean and comfortable"
I loved my stay in the hotel, staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are well proportioned and clean, beds comfy. Breakfast has room for improvement especially if you stay for a week like I did, I wished there was a little more fresh fruit or vegetables.Thank you Holiday Inn.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"West Kensington Business trip"
Two night stay for business. Area is a little run-down and lacking any decent pubs but close to the tube stations so not a problem to travel. Great service by the reception on arrival. Breakfast was adequate and the room itself was excellent.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Ok hotel, better than motel but thats itGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel is good value for money for people travelling on business. Breakfast is more than adequate and free wi-fi available. Short distance to tube station so can easily travel to other parts of LondonGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Our double bed room was nice and spacious, clean and well insulated from the sound of the street. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing lacking was the quality of the breakfast buffet - I've had better in youth hostels, and was expecting a little more given the Holiday Inn brand. But that was made up for by the lively neighbourhood, […] with shops and restaurants close at hand, and being so close to the center of town. The entrance to the parking garage was a little hard to find, requiring to turn in to what looks like a one-way street right next to the hotel. I did not spot any sign on North End road indicating the parking. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great budget hotel"
Great quality for the price! Helpful staff, room not massive-but wasn't expecting it to be. Bathroom clean with great big fluffy towels! Lovely shower!! Only complaint would be comfort of beds, especially the sofa bed for the kids. Breakfast plentiful-Kellogg's cereals, pastries, breads, cheese ,yogurts, beans, sausages and scrambled eggs-all included! […] Room had hair dryer, tea/coffee and hotel did have left luggage room( had read another review that said they didn't) . Would use again. Ideal for Earls Court. "Nice and clean hotel. Welcoming staff!"
We arrived early, 4 hours before our check-in time. The reception staff welcomed us and allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel until the scheduled time. Meanwhile, we started touring London and getting familiar with the neighbourhood.Genuine Expedia guest review

"OK but no frills"
Was a little disappointed that there were no evening meal facilities although I perhaps should have double checked (other HI express hotel do have these). Was given a twin room when I booked a double room. However the room was clean and comfortable enough. A little walk from tube station but not too far. Hotel service was good - fixing a tv remote issue […] very quickly and providing me with a menus for local takeaways and booking me a taxi in the morning. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice hotel with very helpful staff"
We had our grandson with us and although the room would have been fine for 2 persons, the sofa had been opened for a bed, giving us very little room to move. The main hotel rooms were very modern and spacious.Genuine Expedia guest review

We arrived at 9:30am after an 11 hour overnight flight from Cape Town. Check-in was 2pm (I think) and we were initially told our room was not ready, which is what we were expecting, but as we were preparing to leave our bags for the day, the concierge said they were preparing a room for us, so that we could check in, get changed and have a quick freshen-up, […] before heading out for our first day in London. It was very nice of them to get us a room so early in the morning. They even offered us breakfast while we waited for the room to be ready. Great first impression!! "Nice hotel small rooms great location"
Great stay. Free breakfast was good. Easy access to Tube and with 20 minutes if all the sites. Rooms are on the small side for a family of four but manageable if your organized. We would stay again.Genuine Expedia guest review
Stayed in the hotel for a girls getaway. The hotel was a 15 minute walk from Earl's Court Tube station, but only a 8 minute walk from West Kensington or West Brompton tube stations. It was convenient for several tube lines. The staff was very friendly. It was raining and my friend jokingly asked if she would let us borrow her personal umbrella and the […] staff member was actually going to loan us her personal umbrella. We were able to check in early. The rooms were average size, clean, comfortable, quiet, and had free wifi. The free breakfast was standard, but filling with cereals, yogurt, meats, eggs, sausage, breads, juices, coffee, and tea. We had an evening flight and the hotel held our bags while we ventured out into the city. We arrived back to the hotel to relax in the lobby before leaving to catch our flight. The lobby and bar were cozy with a variety of drinks. We charged our phones on the wall outlets and headed out. Better find than some more expensive hotels in the area. I would definitely go back! "Nice Hotel - Poor Air Conditioner"
The hotel is basic but nice. Breakfast had a good choice, however the hot food wasn't great. It's located about a 10 minute walk from the West Kensington tube stop which is very handy. The air conditioner in our room was very poor and as a result, the room was too warm (except for directly in front of the a/c). Overall was nice though and I would probably […] stay again. "Did the job and a little extra"
My friend and I were staying for the weekend to attend the London Film and Comic Con. It was situated close to Earl's Court and West Brompton station and near to several nice eateries. We checked in with no problems and were given two keys which is always handy. The room was perfectly adequate for our needs, clean and well made up. The television worked, […] as did the air con which was appreciated as the windows are not able to open and it was a very warm weekend. The beds were comfortable enough and we couldn't hear any traffic from outside, although there were some strange creaking and whirring noises coming from within the room but they were pretty easy to block out. The breakfast is basic enough but was more than sufficient for our needs. There was a variety of fruit, about 5 different cereals, some fried breakfast food, toast, croissants and a choice of breakfast drinks and everything was re-stocked quite quickly when it ran out. The thing that we appreciated the most was the luggage storage. We were checking out on Sunday morning but still had a whole day at the convention and didn't want to drag our luggage around. We asked if they offered storage and they said yes, it was no problem and tagged our bags and took them into a large room. We picked them up about 5pm with no hassle. I would definitely recommend this hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was perfect for our needs. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good option for when all you need is a bed"
We were 4 families totally 13 people all together spending a week in London. The hotel is reasonably well located - a short 5min walk to either West Brompton or West Kensington tube stations with enough shops nearby if needing to replenish travel accessories - and suited our needs of an economic place to stay that was comfortable enough to relax/recharge […] in after a day's sightseeing. There's free-wifi and excellent service from the staff (quick, efficient, friendly and service-minded). The buffet breakfast was included in the room rate, but was limited in what it offered. However, as this is an 'Express' hotel, this is to be expected. Overall, a good experience and we would definitely recommend this hotel to those travellers who a need an economical, stress-free place to stay that is easy enough to move about in London from. "good hotel close to Queens Tennis Club"
Booked this hotel due to proximity to Queens Tennis Club in West Kensington area of London; 10 minutes walk from the grounds, 5 minutes walk from Ibis Hotel restaurant for dinner (would highly recommend), 5 minutes walk from drop-off and pick-up point by Easybus - stress free trip to London. Staff were extremely helpful and could not do enough for us, […] starting with showing how to use the air-con, supplying soap, helping with directions, storing our luggage after check-out, willing to move us to a different building where we could have open windows. "Functional hotel good location"
I chose the hotel for it's location and reasonable price so facilities and comfort weren't the overriding concern. That said, our family of five managed in one room. "Nice clean hotel"
It's a nice and clean hotel, not centrally located though. You have to walk 15min either way for the tube. Bus is right outside the hotel. The breakfast was okay. "Need some air!"
In the interests of saving energy, the AC is shut off when you leave your room - unless you have two room keys. You can't open the window, so while you are out for the evening, the room can get quite hot. The AC in our room did not pump out much cool air, so the room was rather stifling for most of the night (finally cool by 5 am). It's a solid 5 mins […] walk from West Kensington tube station, which is a bit far for dragging a suitcase. The room was very small for two people with two suitcases. Would be fine for a single person. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Modern, clean, VFM hotel"
We stayed during half term with 2 kids. the room was great as we could get all 4 of us in one family room which was great value for money. The hotel is modern and clean and also a bonus that breakfast is included. We used the car park for overnight parking which isn't cheap, but compared to other places in London, is very reasonable. The hotel is about […] half an hours walk from the museums in Knightsbridge (natural history & science) or about £10 - £13 in a taxi. all in all, a nice place and I would return.
