I had an extra day in my business trip and elected to spend in Montpellier, France. I selected the Mercure Centre for its location, near the old downtown. The location was fine and convenient to walking around on Saturday morning in the old city.

We stayed here for a few day while visiting the surrounding region. These rooms are literally minutes away from the main train station. Our room was very well equipped, clean and extremely quiet. Tram lines and buses are also minutes away by foot. WiFi worked very well and had a strong signal. Highly recommended!

The hotel was nice and new. It was very clean which I really appreciated. Overall I would give it a very good recommendation. There was an issue with the Internet, only one person could log in at one time & on one device. When I mentioned it to the management they said they are addressing the issue & hope to have it resolved in a few months. Little difficult to find. Would have been nice to have a coffe pot and coffee provided in the kitchenette though. We would go back.

The hotel is only good if you only need to stay 1 or a few nights (it was my case), and if you only worried to take a place to sleep. The room was ok, it was quite clean (unless the empty mini refrigerator, that was stinking and thus impossible to use), the hotel staff was gentle, and it had a little free parking lot. Expect to take the tram to restaurants and tourist areas, but that is cheap and fast. The hotel was comfortable and clean, with a solid breakfast. I would recommend and will stay again if I return to Montpellier.

A nice little surprise tucked in a quiet corner of Montpellier, good value for money for a short stay in the city. The nearby tram stop to connect with the city is a quick 5 minute walk and there is a supermarket literally just around the corner.

We booked a quadruple room for 1 night. The room had a bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable - the worst we have ever slept on. This hotel is really only suitable for travellers with cars. It is a good 15 minute walk uphill from the nearest tram station and no clear directions. Only found it after asking directions locally. It is a 20 minute ride from the centre of Montpellier on the tram so not really suited for visiting the city or beaches. There is a supermarket next door […] and even though the rooms are fitted with kitchenettes they are locked away if you are staying less than 7 days so no coffee or tea facilities! Rooms very clean and some have balconies but some do look out over an adjoining industrial park. This hotel is really on the outer limits of Montpellier and suspect it is mainly used for long term appartment accomodation for students at the nearby university or visitors to the hospitals and medical research park. Cependant je pense qu'on a beaucoup tenu compte du fait que certains clients viennent de la zone tropicale au point où je n'avais à ma disposition que la climatisation et non le system de chauffage. Prima hotel aan de rand van Montpellier. Ruime kamer met airco. Hotel ligt op loopafstand van Tramway Parking en vandaar met de tram in 20 min in de binnenstad van Montpellier. Dus hotel is goed geschikt als doorreis, maar ook voor langer verblijf hotel. Voor Franse begrippen redeliik goed ontbijt

Les plus u rapport qualité prix excellent sur un quartier qui ne compte pas beaucoup de possibilité hôtelière.Défaut un peu éloigné du tram, mais les bus sont présents sans difficulté au voisinage. bien placé pour un but dans les quartier nord de Montpellier moins bien pour un séjour en ville. Chambre triple (soit disant suite) très très sale !!! Couverture + convertible puant le pipi. Sol très sale. Poussière et toile d'agrainée à volonté. Literie médiocre et bruyante. Salle de bain nécessitant rénovation urgente. Fuite d'eau dans le couloir sans lumière. Ces problèmes signalés à la réception, on nous répond : "oui nous sommes au courant..." […] sans rien faire. Extremement agreable et tres bien agencé pour un sejour professionnel (il faudrait juste ajouter une bouilloire dans la chambre, au lieu de devoir descendre à la reception pour acceder à la bouilloire commune.Presence d'un refrigerateur tres utile. Chambre tres bien et surtout ; espace jardin parfait!
