Good spot for a hotel stay at Brian Head.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff was wonderful and the rooms were great. Had a fireplace and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was awesome! A hotel room with a fireplace? By far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The room was clean and comfortable, the kitchen and modern full size coffee maker a plus! The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, so much so, I looked at the tags for the brands! I love it, and highly recommend the Cedar Breaks Lodge. We will definitely […] be back! "On the mountain"
Spoiled being so close to the slopes, room was very cute, we were in the smallest available (jr villa) but it still had a fireplace, jetted tub and microwave. The underground parking was nice as there was a blizzard on the last day we were there. Great service in the bar from James and Kyle alsoGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Better than expected!!!"
Our family stayed here for an overnight stay on our way to Vegas. With 4 kids it's often hard to find accommodations large enough without having to get 2 rooms. We had a 2 bedroom very reasonably priced and very spacious. It was clean and comfortable and I was a little sorry we were there for only 1 night. Not sure if we'll ever do that road trip again […] but if so I'm booking Cedar Breaks Lodge!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Water is shower kept changing from hot to cold while you where showering. The restaurant in the lodge had horrible food. The spaghetti with marinara tasted old and burnt. Teenagers staying in the hotel where running up and down the hallways all night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice place to stay!"
The room was awesome. The coffee shop is really good. The only thing to complain about was the steakhouse - couldn't get a table for 30 minutes. There were more empty seat than there were full seats - their excuse was that they wanted to stagger the new table. We staggered to a different place to eat...Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Cedar Breaks 01/14"
Rooms are nice, if slightly small. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit. Having a full kitchen is handy when you're there for 3 nights. The underground parking is a nice touch. The indoor pool and spa area is really well kept and nice. The restaurant food is not very good, and is a bit overpriced, but the waitstaff is quite friendly and efficient. […] There are not many restaurant choices in town and the ones at the hotel are convenient, but only adequate. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Exceeded my expectations"
I was especially impressed with the friendly staff. This is not a busy hotel and staff has plenty of time to see that guests are satisfied.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
POOR MANAGEMENT. WHO EVER MANAGES THIS PLACE, NEEDS TO EITHER GO BACK TO SCHOOL AND GET BUSINESS MANAGEMENT OR GET SOME COMMON SENSE. FOR $160/NIGHT, IT WAS VERY DISSAPOINTING. My first time in Brian Headand and stayed in Cedar breaks lodge...... check in is at 4 and a must to check out at 10 am. We arrived at 2:30 and hoping since check out is at 10am, […] that there will be rooms available. Front desk Insisted that we come back at 4. So we left and figured, we'll eat and maybe sled for a few hours then check in. Out we went and came back at 5:30 pm. Parking is really small, so your vehicle being DINGED is expected. Hauled our luggage and my young kids to 2323 3rd floor, swiped my key and surprised by a loud scream. Our room is already occupied. I have drag my kids and our luggage back to front desk (on foot, since parking is so limited) to get a new room. We finally got our room after an hour. Our room is not clean. Yes, the beds were fixed but there were wrappers on the floor and under the beds. Had to clean the bath tub too because it has hairs. I figured, I won't let my kids see the stress and we will just have fun for the rest of the night. DINNER!!!!.. you have to wait 2 1/2 hours. Grabbed my kids n drove 30 miles to cedar city (where I'm more familiar with). Got back in our room and called front desk to request for an hour late check out. She said...Sorry but it's our policy to check out at 10 am. The only compensation I was expecting from their poor services and management, is for an hour late check out. I was furious. It just doesn't make sense, when they say, if check out is at 10 am and our room wasn't ready and cleaned when we checked in at 5:30 pm? I will not and refuse to stay in this lodge ever again. Very poor management. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great rooms - poor experience unfortunately"
This was a very nice hotel. The front desk and coffee house workers were very nice and friendly. The rooms were great with a sitting area, kitchen and separated bedroom. The walls were very thin though. We kept hearing a constant knocking from our neighbor's wall making it difficult to sleep. The room's temperature was very difficult to control making […] it extremely warm to the point where we actually had to sleep with the windows open with the weather being below 20 degrees outside. When we got to our room, we noticed that we didn't have any toiletries or Kleenex so we called to front desk to get some sent up. We ended up having to call again and I went down to the front desk as well. It got to the point where I just went and bought some from the gift shop because we wanted to shower an go to dinner after a day of snowboarding. Probably an hour or so passed before housekeeping finally brought them and by then we had already purchased shampoo and conditioner. Dinner was pretty good. Our server was very nice but it took at least a half hour to get our food which was just a burger and pasta. But the server did apologize and bought us dessert. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Celebrate NYE with family in Brian Head"
We had a wonderful time. It's a bit of a headache trying to stay in their main building. We had to call several times and still were not guaranteed that we would be able to stay in the main building. We have 2 toddlers and the pool is in the main building. Thankfully when we got there we were able to get a room in the main building. We booked the standard […] one bedroom for the first time. Huge mistake. NOT A VERY BIG ROOM we felt like we were stuck in a closet for 3 days. We will go back to only booking their GRAND ROOMS. The staff was ok. We have stayed here several times but I like their front desk staff from last year much better. Lots of fake smiles this visit. The gift shop had no clothes in our kid's size (we always buy them new Brian Head shirts) and they didn't have milk. We had a good time but had an excellent time last year and the year before. "No Maid Service"
The only time the cleaned our room was when I called to complain. They would only take the trash and towels. Never made or changed bed, didn't wipe down anything or even put up new towels. The manager said that normal Maid service is always taking trash and towels and he didn't know why I expected more. They only changed sheets for new guest check i. […] Its even so bad that when the cleaning staff was doing room change overs for new guest I heard the following: We are officially out of clean sheets and im not walking to bld 1 to get more so just make up the beds with the sheets on them. That is truly gross and I will not stay here anymore. Also no food service between lunch and dinner, not even bar food and no shuttle to take us to ski resort even though they advertised being on the shuttle path. "Comfortable and convenient to skiing"
My 2 night stay was great. Check-in was fast. The room was comfortable and clean. The employees were courteous, helpful and friendly and it had a cozy skiing atmosphere to it. "Don't Discount Cedar Breaks --- VIP All the Way"
Wow!! Though Hotels.com was unwilling to upgrade my room as per their policy, Dan, the GM, was more than accommodating. For a nominal fee, he upgraded us from a Junior Villa to a Suite with a full Kitchen! Every employee we encountered was super-friendly and truly made us feel like VIPs. When I called to make sure they had my reservation the day before […] my arrival, the front desk clerk voluntarily informed me that I would need snow chains or a 4-wheel drive vehicle because of the weather. Had I not known that, I would have been stuck. She even referred me to a tire shop in Parowan (city at the base of the mountain) that might sell snow chains. When I finally arrived to the hotel, I was greeted by an employee using a snow plow. He welcomed me to Cedar Breaks and had said that they had staff periodically driving up and down the mountain to help guests who might have gotten stuck. Impressive. When I arrived to the front desk, the clerk was equally as friendly. I met Dan, the GM, who explained that the company had recently changed to Diamond resorts and spent a lot of money on upgrades. He himself took us on a tour of the facility, showing us various rooms. Our upgraded suite was IMPECCABLE. The full kitchen had everything you could ever need. The restaurant employees were engaging and funny. Everyone smiled and approached us first. It was a rare, surprising, and very satisfying stay. I recommend Cedar Breaks to all who consider a Brian Head vacation. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff was friendly and told us were to go for a kids hike close by. They offer games to check out at the front desk. Great pool and nice rooms! Very pleased with our stay! The closest town was only a 20 minute drive to a more suitable place to feed the kids dinner rather then the in lodge where there wasn't a great selection for kids at night.Genuine Expedia guest review
Cedar Breaks Lodge was average. While attractive, it's slightly dated. Food was not anything special. The pool area was great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Loved having the one bedroom with living room and kitchenette. The location is very remote unless you are skiing Brian Head, but the drives and views are fabulous. There is nothing around except the gorgeous rock and landscape. Bed and room were very comfortable. Didn't get maid service two of the days.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very Comfortable Room and Good Food"
Was only there for one night coming from Bryce on the way to Salt Lake. The room was very nice and we had the best night's sleep in nearly two weeks of travel out west. Even though it was a weeknight in the off-season, we had an excellent meal and very good and friendly service.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel for skiers and lovers of nature"
Some of the best meals I've ever had. Staff very friendly. Rooms clean. Beds comfy and plenty of pillows. Jacuzzi tub felt like my own private spa. Could have used a reading chair. Most rooms have one according to a nice maintenance man. Can get a hot cup of herb tea or snacks until 9 p.m. Fireplace by the pool and hot tub!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice view, but under construction."
We were put in building 2 on the second floor. The underground parking was full of construction material and many spots were closed. The elevator was also, "out of order" and forced a climb every time we needed to get something from the car. We asked the ETA of the elevator and we were given no response.Genuine Expedia guest review

"nice place/chaotic check in"
I was first told that I had cancelled my reservation (I hadn't). Then they found it. It took my travelling companions more than an hour to check in. The next day their room wasn't cleaned because the hotel thought they were checking out (they weren't). Apparently, they have a new computer system, but it either doesn't work or employees aren't trained […] to use it. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great place between two National Parks"
I think a 3-star rating is at least 1 star too low for this place. It is a full-service resort with a restaurant and bar, pool, game room, and even archery classes for kids. We stayed there to be between Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks and were happy with the decision. It is about an hour drive from Bryce and an hour+ from Zion, but there are not […] a lot of choices in that area the cover both parks. We had a 2 bedroom suite which was great for our family of 5 (2 adults ,3 kids). Concierge was very helpful in arranging a horseback riding tour - they have ATVs and other such things as well. Having a restaurant in the building was nice in being able to relax after a full day at the NP. This is definitely a 4-star level resort for a very good price. Location might seem out of the way, but is a lot better than some of the traps closer to the parks. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Big Suite, but dated"
Stayed here because the tour book said it was THE place to stay. Cancelled reservation at Doubletree next door to stay here. At checkin after midnight after an 8-hour drive, the two girls were too involved in their conversation to worry about a family standing in front of them to check into 2 two-bedroom suites, so we had to wait until they felt we […] could interrupt. Was very disappointed to find out that checkout was at 10 am. When we got to the rooms, none of the fireplaces worked and we couldn't seem to change the temperature in the rooms. The bathrooms seemed dated. The bedding was great for sheets and comforter! But, the pillows were foam and firm, not at all comfortable. I wasn't able to fall asleep until 3 am and had to be out by 10 am. Breakfast at the cafe was very good, the pool seemed very small for the size of the hotel, but we didn't have time to take advantage of it anyway. The next time, I will stay at Doubletree instead.
