Walking into Hotel Indigo on a bleak, cold winter's eve was like a jolt of energy. The decor is bright, colorful, airy and sheer fun. The rooms are well thought out and graphically crisp. Had a very relaxed and enjoyable stay, great quality service, nice decor,good rates , centrally located and convinient amenities. The restaurant was a little distracting at check in area and too many entrances and exits made lobby confusing

Hotel Indigo is visually unique. It isn't your typical hotel and is great when you don't want the same old hotel. That said, while the service and accommodations were generally excellent (the large walk-in shower was great), I was surprised by the less-than-excellent bed. I also wish they had put in a regular coffee pot rather than the Keurig. Different hotel experience...a good different. Rooms super large as is the bathroom. Clean and neat. The food in their little cafe was yummy, had the breakfast croissant and the coffee was very good. Also got a so so scone. Lobby is lovely and very whimsical.

The lobby and the rooms are very bright and cheery. Walls are decorated with bright accent of color and photo graphics. The staff is laid back and pleasent. Being a dog lover I particularly liked the friendly small poodle like dog who makes his home in the lobby.

Fun architecture but the maintenance is a little lax. Tried three rooms and all of them had the smell of mold. The bathroom faucet leaked, a light bulb was out and a piece of trim by the floorboards wasn't attached.

We thought it was great. We were just getting away for the night and I was looking for something not too far, but not too close to home, it was about an hour drive. Which was perfect! If we had time we might have stayed and walked around town. But the hotel was great, and the people were very nice!

All was perfect, except........Friday night after a romantic evening with my wife, the spa was drained! The staff told me it is going to be re painted sometime next week. Not a good time to drain a hot tub, Fri night, several wedding parties staying there, lots of people disapointed. Great location, friendly staff, pet friendly even for large dogs, and comfortable rooms. The rooms are not terribly well insulated for temperature or sound in the halls! Restaurant on site and plenty of others nearby, as well as shopping and a park across the street make the location convenient.

This hotel was a nice place to stay. It was very open, bright and colorful. The staff was nice, the rooms were clean and the house dog, Miles, was an awesome addition to this fun experience. The only down-side for us is adjoining rooms would have been nice.

The hotel was great. Be aware that this site, map sites, and GPS directions show the wrong location! Following those directions lands you nowhere near the hotel. Just call and get directions from the hotel staff when you get into town. Hotel reports they've tried to get this corrected.

We loved staying at the Hotel Indigo! We were visiting family who just relocated to Columbus and enjoyed being in the town. We did a driving tour to see many of the great buildings and want to return to see more of the wonderful architecture.

we had a nice stay...the staff were very friendly. the hotel was extremely clean and the rooms were comfortable however there wasn't a bath tub which was fine with me but my sisters didn't like having only a shower. the beds were okay but could have been more comfortable. too much chlorine in the hot tub couldn't stay down and relax but the area was […] clean! the work out area was great! on a bad note....i had to pay an extra 35.00 fee for the dog, it was a cleaning fee . this charge was a surprise i was not told by the website or by expedia that the charge would apply. nice clean machines and were available! all in all it was a great experience! This was a very nice place to stay. Very clean and the staff in the restaraunt was extremely nice and accomadating. I have only one complaint and that is there is a very strange smell in the hallways and in the lobby. One other woman at the elevator commented on it as well. It smelled like a mechanical smell like oil or grease. We did notice that the […] door for the mechanical room for the elevator was open on the main floor our whole stay. I have a very sensitive nose and I couldn't help but say something to my husband everytime we came in the lobby or out to the elevator. The hotel was extremely clean, conveniently located, and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Miles, the hotel's canine ambassador, was also very friendly! We will definitely stay here again the next time we're back in Columbus, IN.

Overall the hotel was very nice. Eclectic decor which is a fresh change from the routine hotel room. Location is near many things, most within walking distance. Beds were a bit firm. If you like to sleep-in be sure to put your Do not disturb sign out because housekeeping shows up before 9.

The hotel gave another guest my prepaid handicapped accessible room just before I arrived. They solved the problem by splitting up our party into two seperate rooms, which meant my children had to stay in a room by themselves in a room at the other end of the hallway. The hotel required that I put down a damage deposit because i had prepaid for my room, […] and then refused to turn the room phone on because I had only put cash down and had not given them a chargecard! The hotel is beautiful, fun and modern -- as was our room. The bathroom and shower are both very big and roomy and the beds were very comfortable. My ONLY complaint is they should have REAL liquid creamer for the in-room coffee, not the powdered creamer.
