Staff is very good. Free shuttle but one shuttle seats only 7 with no standing so if full you must wait 30 minutes for return. Room is good value except mattresses (in two rooms) needed to be replaced. Overall would stay again.

We booked this hotel as an overnight stay before heading for home the next morning. The shuttle service to and from the airport was a huge bonus! The staff was very helpful in answering our questions about going through customs, and timing needed to get to the airport. This suited our needs perfectly and the price was just right!

We stayed in this hotel the night before flying out of Dublin. The room was excellent, clean, etc. The staff was so accommodating! We had to leave the hotel before the free breakfast began so the staff prepared take away breakfast for us at 5:30am. It was their idea :-) We would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable airport option. Generous breakfast. Free shuttle to the airport. If you are arriving from Dublin you can take the bus and the driver will stop prior to the airport which makes it walkable. If you are interested in a good dinner there is a restaurant in the hotel next door that serves evening meals. Jean and John

I booked my room here two months in advance for one queen size bed. My wife and were staying overnight before heading back to the states in the morning. Rather than honor my reservation, they gave me two twins beds and also told me that there was nothing they could do about it because the hotel was booked. There was nothing they could do about it because […] (a) they gave my room up to begin with or (b) the lazy front desk employee did not want to go through the process of moving us. There was no way this hotel was booked full. Once we got to the room (which wasnt what we paid for), there was dirt on the walls and floor, there was only one towel for a room with 2 twin beds, and the room overlooked the bar from the neighboring hotel which played music until 3am. This was the worst Holiday Inn experience that I have ever had. Oh yeah, they also wanted you to pay for a reservation on the "free airport shuttle" which services 3 other hotels. FYI, a cab ride is faster and cheaper; take a cab. The carpets were 25-30 yrs old. The beds were $50 terrible mattresses which were probably 15+ yrs old. Recommendation: stay at the Hilton. I booked this room through Expedia. Thought I was getting a good deal, but when we entered our room I soon realized that they gave us a room for handicapped individuals. The sink was up to our knees and the bed was two low cots pushed together lengthwise. The shower had such low water pressure that there was no way my wife would be able to rinse the […] shampoo out of her hair. So I promptly called the front desk and I was rudely informed that the handicapped room doesn't bother most people. I told her it bothers us and we will need to move to the standard room that we rented. I was then informed that there were no rooms left. I asked to speak to a manager and was told he would have to call us back as he was unavailable. Ten minutes later a manager knocked on our door and offered to move us. It was truly a miracle! A room was available. The bed was slightly better, but still two beds pushed together lengthwise. I recommend that you find a better place to stay. Read more

We had a pleasant experience with the staff. I liked the feature of having a scale in the lobby to weigh luggage. The free wifi, complimentary shuttle and the optional breakfast is a huge plus. Also, the shuttle will NOT drop you right at the departure terminal, so you will have to walk for another 5 mins or so to get there. The cab fare might be a little exorbitant from Dublin unless you specifically ask to use the tunnel (3 euros) or negotiate the fare ahead of time.All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel. We were a family of four and reserved a room with two double beds, one of which was supposed to be a sofa pull out. What a joke. I wish I could attach a photo. The fold out bed was between 8-10 inches above the floor measured at the top of the mattress. In addition, the fold out bed consumed all of the floor space in the room, which was not much. You […] had to step over the corner of the fixed bed to get into the fold out bed, and if you were on the far side, you had to jump over your bed partner, because the bed was against the wall. Any luggage just made the problem worse. My boys were 18 and 21 years old and took it in stride, but I was surprised Holiday Inn would even offer this as an option in that size room. On a positive note, the hotel does offer a shuttle service to the airport, but it is a fair walk to the terminal from the bus parking lot. Read more

A family of 4 would have a tough time staying her for more than a quick night before a flight the next day. The pullout couch was in a direct path to the main bed and very uncomfortable. That being said, it was also the best place to have the last pint before returning to the states. Full breakfast.

Hotel staff were very helpful. Close to the airport and the shuttle runs every 30 minutes which is helpful. It is a 30 minute bus ride or 20 minute cab ride to the city center. Cab was 15 euro to the center square. No restaurant but there is one next door that was good.
