I enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn in Norton Virginia. The room that I requested was just a simple king size bed studio, but without any notice or fuss I was bumped up to a room with a living area, small kitchen/bar and a separate bedroom. also had a good time at the upstairs bar and the food was great. The hotel staff was wonderful. The morning that […] I was to leave I went to my car to head out on a 45 minute drive only to learn my car would not start. After checking with the front desk staff the attendant was gracious to allow me to borrow her jumper cables and the maintenance man worked with me to help jump my car. The whole mess with complicated by the fact that my car was wedged between many other cars around me but they worked to locate guest that could move their car so that my battery could be accessed. Everything and everyone was excellent to us; from the time we arrived until our departure time we felt a friendly and secure atmosphere from the staff and workers within the hotel especially the staff and resturant employees. The king size bed, room and bathroom was very comfortable and clean.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, and clean so would def stay again if i needed to goto that area, but was really looking forward to a mice long soak in the promised jetted tub, but none. Bed was hard and there was a train track close by that was really load. Fishtails or Applebees Restaurant

Our room faced a road outside and there was quite a bit of traffic. Our room was near the vending machine area and kids were running up and down the hall at 1 a.m. making noise & playing with the vending machines. Our son is at UVA at Wise, so we will be back in the area but will not stay here again.
