stayed here based on reviews and was very pleased. the cab driver did get lost on the way, the surrounding area was dark, industrial-looking and a little run down, but no complaints about the hotel. the interior looks new, room was spacious, bed was comfortable and the staff was nice. i stayed one night, checked in late and was out by checkout time.

Beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. The bed was really comfy, the shower was well lit and functional, and the bathroom was huge. The free breakfast was awful, though (the eggs had a weird, grainy texture, the english muffins were still frozen, and the juice was undrinkable).

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express because we were going to a show at Madison Square Garden and did not want to pay the price of staying in the city. We arrived early and asked to check in 2 hours early and we were told there was an extra 20 dollar fee for early check in..which kind of sucked. The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was totally worth the money it was so cute. The breakfast was also really worth it. Overall we had a really good stay and I am so picky when it comes to hotels and I would definitely stay there again.

"Great place to stay"

This hotel was above and beyond what I expected. The price was low compared to other placed I looked at near it. It is roughly 20 minutes from Manhattan. The room and bathroom were gorgeous. While many may not consider this, the toiletries were even fantastic (sweet almond smelling). :-) I would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat.

The property was clean, rooms were nice, free parking was a plus in addition to the free WiFi. The negative is the location, kind of noisy if room is on the highway side, it is in an industrial area. For the price I would stay there again.

The room was very comfortable. Employees were exceptional. They got a car service to take us to dinner. They helped us find a nice place to have dinner. The only thing I would say negetive is that it was not in a very nice part of town. View from the windows were scarey. But as long as you stayed off the street it was quite comfortable and a very economic price.

"Location, location, location"

This is a very nice, new, clean hotel. Staff was friendly. There is plenty of parking. There is a McDonald's next door but other than that you are in an industrial location with no access to bus, subway or other restaurants.

Very nice hotel. But plan on driving if you want to go downtown. It is NOT close to the subway (like I was told). The bus system to get to the subway is EXTREMELY hard to deal with. But the hotel itself is very nice, EXCELLENT breakfast and very great service.

Very clean and quite place.But make sure to check in "on time". If U arrive any minute earlier be prepared to pay.($10 an hour)

Very clean and new stuff. Manager is very nice and accommodating. Buutttt staff with name begins with A****** is very rude. Have an attitude and hanged the phone with me twice. She is not qualified as a customer service person. Also make sure that you ask first how much you will get billed because they charge you for the whole stay wherein they didn't check that you already pre-paid the stay via hotels.com, they neeeddddd a lot of training...
